“Nice hotel but nothing special”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 5, 2013

Room was very modern and nice but the housekeeping was not up to the standard. Room was not cleaned on two days (atleast very poorly cleaned) and we even got a dirty, used, blankets on one occasion. Also the bathroom started to smell like sewer if the ventilation in the bathroom was left on for too long. The general areas were very well kept.

The food was OK but it started to taste boring and monotonous after a few days. Desserts looked amazing but tasted very bland. The Ice cream from the patisserie was good.

Location was quite nice, a little far away from the beach but the shuttle service worked fine. The views from the top pool and the main restaurant were very beautiful.

We stayed here for the 12th time in a few years this June and benefited from brilliant weather and a great holiday once again. Absolutely fantastic hotel and such decent prices! The hotel and pool areas are exceptionally clean and well kept and all the staff speak very good English. The food and choice of food is unbelievable - available 24/7!
We have stayed in a range of rooms and they all have ensuite, tv and sometimes a kitchen area. The mini-bar is well stocked and the rooms are SO well cleaned, it is much cleaner than my house!!!
If you are looking for somewhere to go where there are a lot of English people then this isn't the place but to be honest, we enjoy getting away from them all! The hotel is mainly occupied by German and Dutch people but they have always been very friendly and welcoming to us.
I would highly recommend this hotel for both families, couples and friends travelling. We love it and will be back in October!

Room Tip: The cheapest rooms are small but to be honest, you won't be spending much time in there anyway...

Well kept hotel complex with four pool areas, many restaurants, snack bars, disco and amphitheatre for eating, drinking and shows. There is also gym, squash, tennis court, mini golf and few stores in the area. Hotel consists of several buildings and some are bit far away from the main building. There are also lots of stairs everwhere. But the area is beautifull and clean. Besides sun baths one can go to Hamam bath, massage or participate to all sorts of pool events. So there are plenty of things to do for a week and you really don't have to leave the hotel area. Food and wine are OK, maybe bit better than in average all-inclusive hotel restaurants. Night shows were not very entertaining though.

We booked a week here as my husband was taking part in the European Triathlon in Alanya. We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It was everything you want from a resort, and a lot more. We were travelling with 3 young children and 2 grandparents too, so we had booked a 2 bed suite and a double room. On arrival we were upgraded (without request) into a 3 bed suite and a 1 bed suite. Both were situated behind the main pool area and were very spacious, modern, clean and had balconies overlooking the pool, sea and mountains - what more could you ask for? The rooms were equipped with everything we needed, and the minibar fridge (all payable extra apart from water) was useful for storing snacks in for the kids. Rooms were cleaned daily with fresh bedlinen and towels if required. There was a table & chairs on the sunny balcony and air conditioning in the main living area which adequately cooled the bedooms too.

The swimming pools are fantastic, with a nice relaxing pool set away from the others which my in laws enjoyed visiting. The facilities for children are also great - with water slides, shallow pools, playground next to the kids pool, and fabulous mini club which was very well staffed. We have never used kids clubs before but the staff (mainly Ukrainian, Turkish & Dutch) were so welcoming that our kids felt happy to join in as and when they wanted a break from swimming.

The outdoor areas of the hotel were immaculate, with beautiful gardens. All the maintenance, including daily pool cleaning, happened at night. I saw water samples regularly be taken, and the pool and gardens were very clean.

The hotel is very large, with lots of steps, though we managed to find the slopes for the pushchair, so that was not a big problem. There were enough lifts too. The eating areas are large, and there was plenty of options about where and what to eat. I have never been to an all inclusive before, but this was fantasic, with a lovely choice of Turkish and continental cuisine at each meal. The meals were served as a buffet so it was easy to try new things and the children always found something to eat. Everything was very clean and hygienic and we had no digestive problems.

The beach is well worth a visit and don't be put off by the trek across the busy road at the bottom. There is building work going on there (they are finishing a new road) which doesnt affect the hotel in any way, but it does make crossing the road difficult until it is finished. However, the regular bus service to the beach (free) solves this problem. The beach cafe is lovely and there were plenty of sun loungers. Though take flip flops as the sand is very hot!

Also, take mosquito repellent as many people got bitten in the evening when outside (though this is normal for this area).

We were the only English staying in the hotel, which suited us fine! Most guests were Dutch or German with a few East Europeans and Scandinavians. It was lovely to meet new people from other countries, and most spoke excellent English. The food catered for all nationalities, which was nice and a good change from English fry ups and chips! The staff spoke broken English - apart from the kids club who were all fluent. This is typical of Turkey from what I gather, so just be prepared to be patient.

Alanya is a beautiful city, with lots to see and do. There ARE lots of shops selling tacky stuff, but the salesmen were not pushy and took no for an answer. There are also lots of interesting bazaars and small restaurants who are very friendly and interesting. We felt really safe there, and it is somewhere we would definitely visit again with more time to explore the area.

A couple of other tips - the hotel mainly took Euros but many shops take lira and you get a better deal if paying Lira.
Antalya airport is at least 2 hours away, although we discovered there is a closer airport of 20 mins away (Gazapisa??). DO NOT use Resorthoppa or Eftalia Travel as this transfer company let us down on arrival and messed us around. The hotel can recommend better local companies who are cheaper and more reliable.
The animation (entertainment) team were very enthusiastic and a bit of a shock to us reserved English, and we were a bit taken aback by the loud shows that go on in the ampitheatre (below our room) in the evening until 11pm. But the shows were actually really entertaining and fun, so we just went along with the kids and enjoyed them. However, if you intend on going to sleep before 11pm you may wish to request a room in a quiter area (though most are within earshot of the ampitheatre!).

This hotel is excellent value for money and we will certainly return.

This is de best Alanya has to offer. Service is great, food is spectacular, rooms are very big and clean. Al inclusive also on the beach. Free shuttle service to the beach, 1 euro shuttle service to the city of Alanya wich is about 7 km away. People are coming for over 20 times there. I go there wth my family (8 people) for 10 years now. I tried an other hotel, but i wont be going anyware else but Paradiso.

Room Tip: I always stay in the rooms on buildings cold Italy or Holland or Japan. Try to get a penthouse is un...

I stayed at club paradiso resort Alanya from 9th-13th April 2013!! Though The transfer was 3hrs long we didn't let that ruin the holiday!! We checked in at about 4pm the reception staff were very friendly and tried her best to talk to us as she could not speak the most amazing english!! Shortly we were taken to our room by our bell boy who was also very friendly and also happy to help us!! We were in a family room there were 5 of us me my little sister baby brother my mum and dad!! The room had a lot of room and the beds were alright aswell!! We had a view over the pools and could see the beach in the distance!! We went to explore the hotel for a while and also went for a swim in the outdoor pool I must say the water was freezing cold and took time to get use to but in the day the sun was hot so it was ok! Later on in the evening we went for dinner in the moonlight restraunt located in the hotel!! It was a buffet with quiet a lot of choices the deserts were amazing as well as the food! The Next Day we were at the pool by 10 am and the pool was not to busy just some people mabye a quater full! The animation team were reallt good they had a dance everyday annd it was loads of fun!! The water slide was open from 9:30am-12:00pm and again from 2:00pm-4:00pm and it was reallt enjoyable!! I must mention there were a lot of russians, germans, belgins and europeans but that didn't ruin our holiday as they were all quiet friendly!! Overall it was a very enjoyable and would higly reccomend it! And would certialy go again!
