The hotel is very well located by the Cleopatra beach. It is not on the beach itself but on the city side, between the other hotels facing the see. You have to cross a small street (with almost no traffic) and a beautiful park to access the beach. Excellent food, although the breads were not always fresh. Friendly staff. The cleaning ladies spend the whole day in the corridors, what can be annoying.

The hotel is away from the city centre, where all the discos and bazaars are located. Therefore, we would recommend it for travellers looking for a peaceful holiday by the beach.

Overall, it was a great stay and we would go there again.

we were absolutely satisfied. Hotel is nice, clean, with two excellently swimming pools, closed to beach across park, in quiet discrict. Rooms are faintly small, but sufficient. Delicious cuisine and very accommodating staff

I was in Alanya for a conference and had stayed next door - however I was disappointed with that and a colleague at the conference said that her hotel was OK. I arrived at 11pm (after a visit to Capadoccia) and the hotel were very helpful in fining me a room for one night. They were unable to accommodate me for the three nights I needed but then did manage to sort me out the next morning.

The staff were very helpful. The room was clean and fairly recently refurbished. The breakfasts were great (especially the pancakes) and the evening meal was better than I expected. In particular the salads/mezze which change daily so you know that they are fresh. Alcohol is quite expensive.

I didn't use the swimming pool - one was closed and really should be covered up so that you can't see how grotty it looks.

Overall this was a pleasant surprise and very good value for money.

after booking at last minute off the net through thomas cook we were very pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the riviera hotel, even after a 2 hour transfer in the early hours of the morning. we were greeted by half pleasant reception staff then shown to our sea view room by a vey smiley young porter.
we had a very nice room immaculately clean , non smoking and fanstastic sea view.
after unpacking we haeaded off for breakfast where we enjoyed a very good choice of continental and turkish cuisuine which was much better than some turkish hotels i have stayed in befor.
the location of the riviera is great straight opposite a lovely clean and sandy beach and wonderful gardens and fountains on the way, oh and if you fancy a work out even an outside gym , volley ball and tennis courts.
we were blessed with extremely good weather so spent most of the time in the sea or one of the pools in the hotel.
we always managed to get sunbeds despite the fact most of the hotel was filled with germans and the cleanliness of the pools toilets and showers on pool side were immaculate.
snacks during the day were very good from the pool bar although some of the waiters never seemed to crack a smile.
excellent choice of resteraunts shops and bars close by would certainly recommend the elite resteraunt for their mixed grills!
all in all the hotel was far better than we expected despite the cheesey entertainment on a few night but that added on to our amusement, good service and spotlessly clean i would definitely stop in the riviera again.

happy holidays!!

We were very pleased with the hotel. Rooms are very clean and spacious enough for a weeks holiday. We had twin beds in the room and pushed them together, creating even more space. Balcony is great too and you can see the sea from most balconies. The pools are lovely and it was relaxing to hang around there in the late afternoons. The beach is only a short stroll from the hotel.
You can get a massage in the hotel for 15 Euro per hour - highly recommend!
Food is ok - usual hotel grub and can get boring after a while.
Most of the staff speak German and only a little English, so it can be difficult if you only speak English. Not a big problem though.
We had problem with electricity one night and it was sorted within minutes, which was great.
The night before we departed there was loud music by the pool bar and because we had to get up early the next morning we were a bit annoyed. Cant really say anything against this though....

Alanya is quite big and you can do a nice walk up to the Castle. We felt a bit irritated by the locals trying to constantly sell you something and "bother" you, but I suppose that is a Culture thing which you need to be aware of before you go to Turkey. It gets very hot and I wouldnt recommend going in the months of July and August!

All in all the hotel was lovely and has a great location - definitely recommended should you wish to visit Turkey!
