Me and my boyfriend went here for 2 weeks all inclusive in Sept 2013. I was a little disappointed when we drove away from the Kleopatra resort and spa but when we pulled up at this hotel I was pleasantly surprised. The reception looked lovely, it was modern, clean and spacious. The staff ran up the steps to collect our bags from the bus and took them down to reception, our check in was smooth which is an essential when it's 3am!! We were taken to our room and showed how to work the things in the room (inc air con which was free, good job as it was very much needed). After this the reception staff weren't as hospitable, we were very rudely asked where our wrist bands were (we had taken them off while out of the hotel as we didn't want that one bit not tanning), when we put them back on we were told that we must not taken them off again very rudely. There were very rarely please or thank yous from the reception staff.

In the hotel has a little gym area which we used once or twice, not much there but it was enough, we didn't use the massage or spa facilities but they looked clean enough. The outdoor pool was nice, it had a little kids bit as well but you often found 20 somethings in there blocking the way with their lilo so a kid couldn't use it, pool could have been bigger but it served its purpose, it was nice to sit in the water and have the drinks in the pool bar.

Now onto the other staff, waiters/bar staff, some could do with telling their face to smile every now and then but after speaking to one member of staff who was lovely we understood why they weren't particularly chatty, they work from dawn till dusk with no break 6 days a week!! they must be exhausted. There were a few that we spoke to and in general they were lovely.

The resort itself was FULL of Germans, now I have nothing against any specific nationality but after this I can safely say that I will be checking out what the main holidaying nationality is for the resort, they completely took over the place, including one gobby German girl/woman who never shut up and I swear you heard her before you saw her! She wasn't once told to keep it down. The staff spoke more German than English but I guess that's understandable given their main clientele.

The food.....well......I was grateful that there was a burger king next door to the hotel. The food was extremely limited and the food that was out wasn't great. There was a whole table full of pickled stuff which I didn't touch, I'm a big desserts fan but couldn't stand any of theirs. On one day they had a choice of 3 different types of turkey, I don't think one day went by where turkey wasn't on the menu, I was sick of the sight of it after a week. I think from the hotel food I pretty much lived on chips, spaghetti and cheese for the whole time. The food was a huge let down. Saying that though we did go for the odd meal out of the hotel and we were exactly blown away by that either and the meals out were pricey, so we were in fact better off eating in the hotel and just keeping ourselves going with nibbles from the shops. The burger king btw was quite nice :-D

All inclusive drinks were what it said on the tin really, however they fail to tell you exactly what is included and it took us a week to figure out that a couple of house cocktails and a few of the local liqueurs were included. However the glasses were so small that you were constantly going for more, the waiters were good though and they did often take your order from the table but the poor guys were so busy and so tired that I often ended up going to get my own, more to save their legs than anything. Drinks were until 23:00 so a decent time really, couldn't complain about the general all inclusive, food was on for most of the day so even if you missed breakfast there were pool side snacks. We generally only drank in the hotel bar as the prices of drinks elsewhere were pretty high and as we paid all inclusive we didn't want to spend what we didn't need to.

The rep was useless!! I have nothing else to say about her, she was working for the sake of it really, we did buy some trips off her but only because we didn't know if we could trust the street sellers, however we were later told that if you just walk down to the harbor you can get boat trips dirt cheap and you get on it there and then so no wondering whether you were giving your money over without getting your trip.

The weather was brilliant, not a cloud in the sky for 2 weeks!!.

The shops and restaurants were all the same, sold the same stuff, all of which was a bit rubbish, we normally buys load of stuff to take home and here we didn't just a few pairs of sun glasses, towels and a couple of mugs, the rest was tat and the clothes looked cheap.
Saying no thanks becomes second nature as you are almost forced into shops by the staff, I have been to Turkey before so I was expecting it but my boyfriend got pretty fed up with it, in the end we just ignored them, got sick of saying no to the same people. Also they don't seem to like to barter anymore in the shops, we hardly got any deals with anything.

Take enough turkish lira and euros with you to see you through a few days but change your money while you are there, the exchange shops give better rates than over here and there are loads of them so you don't have to hunt, that way you can change just what you need to instead of having to change it all back when you get home.

In this hotel you are one of the furthest away from the actual centre itself with all the bars etc, we walked in in about half an hour so not too bad but was a little too far away if you just fancied a wander around the shops.

Overall a lovely holiday and experience but we won't be going back to this area of Turkey again, generally no major complaints and if you can live without amazing food for a couple of weeks then you won't have a bad time.

Room Tip: We requested a non ground floor room and pool facing with a sunny balcony....all of which we got! If...

We arrived here and were pleasantly surprised at the hotel as it is near one or two that are shut and boarded up.it is very clean and modern with every thing like indoor pool, gym, sauna etc.
The food could be better, limited choice of main course but we always got something to eat.
ALL the staff are very helpful and they help with anything.
We will definitely use this hotel again.
One little drawback, when coming to this area it is a two hour taxi journey from Antalya.there is an airport nearby but it isn't used yet.

Room Tip: Sea facing are best.our room 308 looks on to a closed down hotel.

Just returned from a weeks break, 21 February. You could not fault this hotel on its cleanliness both inside and out. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are not very big, but they are more than adequate with plenty of storage space. The bathroom was modern with a walkin wet room, the shower was excellent. The hotel is situated just across the road from the beach and a gentle 20 to 30 mins stroll to the busier end of town and the harbour. The down side however is dont expect delicious food or plenty of entertainment as neither were to be found.

We booked this holiday on a budget to escape the UK weather... very wise choice.. having read that it had been refurbished we were pleasantly surprised when we reached the hotel... it was lovely. It was ideally situated for us with the beach just over the road and the harbour 20mins walk away.... The room we were originally given was at the back (lovely room but no sun during the day) so we asked to be moved to a room overlooking the pool area.. room 305... next to the road... slight traffic noise but it didn't both us.. plus we got the sun most of the day. The rooms were spotless as was the rest of the hotel.... good facilities all around. The staff were excellent especially Boran on the desk and Bekir in the restaurant and the bar to name a few... the only down side was the lack of evening entertainment.. there was only entertainment on one evening!!! The food was very good although the hot food did lack imagination.. turkey most meals but excellent salads and good variety at breakfast. Unfortunately apart from one other family we were the only English people there (the other guest were mostly German) although everyone was vey pleasant. One down side was the beds... they were quite hard ... We would definitely recommend this hotel and Alanya for a holiday especially at this time of the year when it isn't so busy. We had lovely weather 6 days out of 7 with temps of 23-25 degrees most afternoons. Obviously the evenings were cool. Plenty to do in Alanya .. lovely harbour area.. a visit to the castle is a must.. we walked up 4 kms all up hill but there is a bus for 2 lira... and also the Red Tower and the Shipyard are worth a visit. We also did a boat trip around headland which was quite informative...

Room Tip: Rooms over looking the pool area generally get the sun although you do get some road noise... we had...

Just spent Christmas & New Year and had a relaxing time. The positives the staff are amazing helpfull, friendly and will always go out of the way to help you from the cleaners ,reception staff bar staff to the management. The bar staff are second to none especially the Turkish Mr Bean what a fantastic your man. The rooms are small but really really clean and comfortable . The view we had was none bad looking over roof the was full of dead branches but look past the and you see a full sky line of mountains lovely. The negatives the food was dreadful Chicken,Turkey or Meatballs on rolling days with very little taste Had fish on one sitting . The beach is just across the road and is beautiful . Has amazing places to see around and about and the local are pleasant. . would I stay again yes but eat out more often

Room Tip: Ask for pool view as all other rooms have bad views
