Let's get on thing straight: this place caters to European tourists. They have TV channels from many European countries and you won't meet a lot of natives here. But you're in Alanya, son. Too late.
So if you want to watch the football and not worry about if you'll like what you ordered in a comfortable outdoor environment next to a beautifully restored historical house, this is the place.
The owner is half Turk, half Dutch. His wife is Dutch and has put a little Dutch twist on the Turkish cuisine. It works. So well.
We had just come back from an adventure in Cappadocia, feeling like we had taken care of our "authenticity" quota, the guys were looking for somewhere to watch the World Cup and eat and drink heartily. Our dirty dozen was placed in our own area in front of a projector screen with the game on our own Norwegian channel. We were served the best mezes (Turkish "tapas") we had on the entire trip, followed by the most amazing meat dishes and a dessert (home-made pistachio ice cream and apple pie) we only ate because it would have been a sin not to. All the time with excellent service.
If you need a break, or even if you don't: do your self a solid - go to Bistro Floyd.
