“most relaxing holiday we've ever had”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 10, 2011

A lovely clean hotel with friendly helpful staff. Everybody spoke excellent english and were very friendly and helpful. Entertainment in the evening was varied, ranging from a dreadful Michael Jackson impersonator to an amazing fire eater performing round a candle lit pool, all in English The on site photogropher took some excellent photos of my son who is usually camera shy and for E3.00 we had photos as excellent as those we hadf done in a studio a few years ago. The bar staff were accomodating and therestaurant staff helpful, explainign what the turkish dishes were if we weren,t sure what was in them. The lack of English guests was a drawback for our 2 teenagers, but all the other Russian and German guests were friendly and spoke at least a littel english. All in all a wonderful, relaxing holiday.

in my thinking its not as it says on the tin----germans have a whale of a time at other guests costs----not geared for the english at all and the daytime stuff to do was poor in house----if it was,nt for the fact of others who stoped there----you know who you are---the food was really bad for me----i,m so pleased i only did a week of it---think twice about booking it and if you do----make sure its on the money----as it ai,nt worth high prices for sure-----having said all this-----it was clean an tidy and the room was done each day---
happpy hols everyone----one for the do,nt return list for me---hotel wise

After a 3 hour transfer ( told 1hr 30) with a driver who would not turn his music down whilst my 2 year old was asleep at 5.30 in the morning we arrived. The hotel itself is beautifully presented but was almost impossible to get our two suitcases, ourselves and my pushchair into the shower cubicle sized lift. The room we had to find for ourselves which was a pretty standard hotel room nice enough and comfortable for our stay.
Food.
left a lot to be desired. We were excited to try new things as we've nver been to turkey before but pretty soon it became repetitive and we craved for some familiar tastes. Breakfast was typically european, Salad tomoatoes, cuccumber, boiled egg cheese and meats but plenty of coffee and fresh juice from the machine. Lunch rice, some sort of meat stew with pepppers, salad bar and plenty of bread, dinner pretty much the same with a range of desserts you wouldn't know what they were until i bit into it and found out it was not for me! The only snacks that wer available during the day were turkish pizza available 1-5pm and bread/cake type things on 4-5pm. Ice creams were not part of the all inclusive package. I found it quite difficult to feed my little boy but to his part he tried everything that was put in front of him. regarding all inclusive drinking, the drinks that were available were tea, coffee, soft drinks, lager, vodka and raki. Very limited and unless you like your spirits hard ask for a small amount as it is half and half.
The swimming pools were lovely but 2 days before i left i realised i hadnt actually seen them be cleaned once so didnt go back in. The aquapark in the description is actually the two slides seen on from 10 til 11.30 then 1.30 til 4.30.
The staff were very friendly apart from speaking very limited english, it was hard to make ourselves understood without feeling patronising.
It also doesnt say in the description that the hotel is on a bank with a 60 degree incline, making it very tiring and difficult to walk with a pushchair and for people with walking difficulties.
The nightly entertainment (animations as they called it) were all in German and turkish, the childrens disco were all german apart from the music man. even agadoo was in german. My little man was very left out and made no friends at all. Also couldnt help thinking that the small amount of english spoken then followed by a torrent of german and turkish was made to be poking fun at us.
This hotel has only been open to english holidaymakers this year and i suggest that if they wish to keep a continuous stream of happy english customers then they make some drastic changes.

Booked this hotel 2 weeks before departure, at an extremely low price, so minimal expectations!.
Transfer was horrendous-driver couldn't find the hotel and tried to drive with a flat tyre-ended up taking 6 hours from landing, to arrival at the hotel at 3.30am!
Accomodation very basic and dated, but clean and the room was cleaned every day with clean towels etc. Limited English spoken, but 2 receptionists were able to communicate satisfactorily.
Food was well presented and acceptable-but typical for the Russian/German market-salads for breakfast, lunch and dinner with plenty of selction of these. (Bread was delicous!!)
Very limited entertainment, so take your own-no UK tv channels etc.
For any excursions/car hire etc book with country travel, in the adjacent road at the top near the Orient Palace hotel-see Mustafa or Daniel as they speak good English and offered the best prices-we did rafting, turkish baths and boat trip-all excellent! We also hired a jeep for 5 days and a scooter for a day, at a brilliant price.! Just beneath the Orient Palace hotel is a shop where you can buy English papers (if you want them!!)-again the owner is really nice and speaks English.
Overall, this is not a luxurious 4 star hotel, and if you want bacon and eggs and pie + chips this is not for you!

excellent hotel, good clean rooms, great views, cleaning staff brilliant most hard working women i have ever met, breakfast ok choice of eggs breads spreads salad couldnt go hungry, lunch and teas plenty of choice had different every day, loved the kfc style chicken, anyone that moans about the food is ungrateful and the bbq beach party was good 15lira each kids free they have a section of the beach put music on and and crack open the beach bar, free face painting for the kids too, free bus there and back, we got a lift back off the managers driver because the kids were getting tired which i thought was really nice of him to offer. go to the pizza bar behind the pool open 10 til 5 fresh hand made pizza all day, buscuit selection at 5, drinks available 10.30 til 11, if you love vodka this is the bar for you its half vodka half coke! i made my own cocktails from the juice machine! had larger that was like stella and some perno stuff that i got pretty hammered on and red and white wine that tastes like those 3 for £10 deals at tesco so not bad but its warm and gives you heartburn. fantastic pool the kids never got bored and niether did i, i loved it, in fact the kids started asking to go to bed after all the fun on the slides. they are turned on at 10.30-12-30 then 2-5.30 we went down to the beach where you can see dolphins, watch out for the camel man that trys to charge you £25 for a 2min ride i told him he could have 10lira for being nice to the kids or have nothing if he asked for more again! we caught a bus at the bottom of the road about 50p each to town every shop was the same all fake clothes bags and perfume nothing exciting to see for me we didnt leave the hotel after that as it was more exciting there. the entertainment was for kids all up on stage having fun. i would definately go back and will be doing next year but for 2weeks this time and not in june it was 36 degrees and unbearable over lunch time! oh and this review is all from someone that has worked in a 5* hotel, i would give this a 5* cant wait to go back next year!!
