Let's be clear - this is not a four star resort. The rooms are very tired, and the "Main Restaurant" is nothing more than a cafeteria serving a very limited range of unimaginative food. There is, to be fair, always a decent selection of salad. The fact that the menu is very German-oriented is not necessarily a problem - it's just so 'same-ish'.

Others have mentioned the transfer time. Be aware, if you pay the extra £150 for taxi transfers, you only seem to save about 30 minutes - it's still two hours sitting in a cab after a 5 hour flight.

The grounds of this hotel are indeed beautifully landscaped, and there was never any shortage of sun-loungers by any of the pools or on the beach. The all-inclusive drinks are fine, but the leaflet you get when you arrive is not accurate. The lobby bar should be open 24 hours, and serving alcohol 10:00 - 24:00 - it is not. It opens when they feel like it.

On the up-side, the leaflet also says there is a charge for the room safe, but on checking out this turned out to be free.

I was fortunate that I can speak a little German - without it, there would have been several occasions when I could not have been served.

It has been said before - this hotel should not be marketed to British customers. It is aimed entirely at Germans and Russians. I really cannot recommend it unless, perhaps, you are going in a group (for company) and some of you speak German (so you can be served.

Once off your flight, get ready for your 2-2 1/2 hour transfer-big spoiler.
Very european based. This hotel should NOT be sold to British people.
FOOD-Very good, cooked very well but quite repetitive.Do not expect English breakfast, this is a muslim country.
DRINKS-Quite good,very strong.
CLEANLINESS-All aspects of the hotel are very clean from the rooms to the beautifully kept gardens.
STAFF-Not so friendly,at least not to the english,of which there were very few of us.Thank goodness we went with friends and had others to talk to. The language barrier was a major problem even to ask where reception and toilets were.Only one receptionist knew what we were saying.
BEACH-All shingle with quite a steep incline going into the water, making it quite difficult for anyone unsteady on their feet. Plenty of sun loungers and parasols and plenty of activities.
ENTERTAINMENT-Quite poor actually. One really good night and quite a few totally bad ones.
This is a very good hotel if you are german or russian, otherwise you will not be understood.
There is a good local bus service which takes you straight into Alanya for 2 lira. You will find lots of shops, markets, bars and bistros there.
Compared to some quad bikes we have done, the one from our Thomson rep was boring. Would not let us pick up any speed.
Would recommend the off road safari-a great day out. Would have like to do Cappadocia or Istanbul but the long transfer time put us off.
OVERALL-It is a great hotel with plenty to do if you wish to and plenty of relaxing spots too. Lots to do for the kids. Wish they would sort themselves out with a little English though.Air con is not very good at all. We had ours on full and despite waking up with dry mouths,we were still hot. Make you sure book the A la carte as it free to English guests and is really enjoyable

Room Tip: All rooms have limited sea view due to trees at front of property

To start with the food is top draw but the choice is a bit same as yesterday. For breakfast is. Corn flakes n egg. Location is stunning, beach always had enough places to sun bathe. Hotel, rooms, and sea ares was spotless.
We went away with friends so we had people to talk to the majority of the guests where European and Russian who have their own way of conducting them selves. The staff seam to be well versed in those languages and at times we had to resort to mime or being ignored. If the staff could not grasp what was needed. That said some staff went out of the way to be helpful. Would happily recommend this hotel to those who have mastered a second language or a large group.
Entertainment was standard fare to be honest. No bingo. I had a great time here. Shudder to think what it would have been like with out our friends. Two people in a sea of mostly non English speakers.

If you want a quiet place right at the seaside - stay here.

Pros: decent territory, beautiful garden, nice beach and nice restaurant. Pretty quiet since it's relatively far from Alanya.

Cons. Long ride from the airport and to the most places of interest. Room service is so-so.

I must note that i came there before the actual start of the season for a quiet place to rest and was fully satisfied. Pretty long walk to the city unless you take a bus or taxi. Also was surprised by the lack of toothbrush in the room but it was a small matter.

This is an excellent hotel in a superb setting. The grounds are spotless with trees and plants everywhere. The rooms are fairly large and cleaned daily. The food is very good and there is a large range at every meal. The hotel is set right on a sand and shingle beach which stretches for miles in each direction. There is also a nice walk by the river which links to the nearby shops. The road is very busy though, so you will need to use the subway to cross it.
As mentioned before by other guests this hotel are mainly German and Russian and English is the 4th language for most of the staff. This can make getting what you ordered difficult especially in the Selale Bar where the head barman seems to dislike serving the English guests !.
Also the transfer to this hotel is very long, but don`t let this put you off as it is well worth the wait as it is an excellent hotel.

My boyfriend and I decided to to take a full inclusive weeks holiday - this hotel did not disatify at all. The only downside is the transfer from the airport to the hotel. But saying that the grounds are beautiful, the rooms are lovely, the location is pretty, the food is amazing, the amount of food is incredible and the entertainment was funny,

I took a holiday with my boyfriend this october (1st-10th) to this wonderful hotel in Alanya. We are both 20 and after many holidays with friends we wanted an all inclusive relaxing treat.

We booked and traveled with first choice and everything was pretty much perfect. Including all the first choice staff and our great rep, Chris. We took two trips with first choice, a turkish bath trip which was a little odd at first but once you got into it was really nice. (I would suggest booking via first choice for this as i have known a few people who didn't and the guys at the baths were not as appropriate as the should be!) Our experience of this was great.
We also went on a day trip to Manavgat. Unfortunately it was a little bit of a let down. The trip consisted of 4 elements. Firstly a trip to a 'textile store' which is a big store that sells all fake branded goods (seeing as I don't like fakes this was a bit pointless for me), next was a visit to the waterfall, although small its very pretty as the river runs green and its a great photo opportunity. We then spent the afternoon at a market which also seemed to be selling all the same fake stuff :( finally we ate lunch on a boat down the river to where it meets the sea. The day was ok but we found exploring Alanya in the local area was better than the two hour trip to manavgat.

The service in the bars and restaurant was good, better if you spoke german as this seems to be the second language at the hotel. The food was incredible every meal time, you would never go hungry (and i'm a really fussy eater so thats saying something!) Every other night was international and then the rest were themed mexican, turkish, chinese which in particular was great etc.

We stayed in room 3213, this was in the 3rd block along and 1 floor up so we had a small but pleasant little balcony. Our room looked exactly like the picture on the first choice website!
The bed unfortunately was 2 singles which we pushed together, so it wasn't always the best nights sleep when you fell into the gap in the middle but there was always time to have a nap on the beach in the glorious sunshine. the bathroom was nice and roomy and the shower was nice too. I agree with a few other reviewers about the weak hairdryer, but i didn't expect it to be amazing.

The hotel and room was always clean with fresh towels provided everyday

We found the location amazing. The hotel is far enough from the town that you can relax but is only a super cheap and quick bus ride away. The bus stop is right outside the hotel and costs 2TL per ride. The buses are not up to English standard and you rarely get a seat, but what can you expect. On one of the first days we actually walked along the beach road to the harbour in Alanya. It was a lovely walk and only took us 1hr 30mins in 30c heat! beach at the hotel was attached right onto the grounds so no walking across the main road like many of the other hotels in Alanya. There are lots of sunbeds with tables and parasols, a life guard on duty all day who also kindly bought us our sunbed mattresses everyday! All in all a perfect location for us.

We would recommend this hotel and would stay here again. I would recommend you choose this hotel if you want a trip where you can spend all day using the beach and pool and making use of the all day food and drinks. We enjoy keeping to ourselves as we went on holiday to spend time together not meet people, its probably a 90% german hotel which didn't bother us at all as we only wanted to spend time together. Although we are only 20 and its not really a young couples retreat, we really enjoyed our time there and I hope you will too.
