We stayed in this hotel complex in October. The hotel is very tired and in need of a facelift. Staff are worked very hard and as a result have no time for guests, you are made to feel in the way. Around 95% of guests are German, many of whom are smokers. This results in all the bars during the day and in the evening being taken over with little or no areas left for non smokers. If is rains, then the non-smoking areas are given over to the smokers. We had to retreat to our room with our drinks. The staff are all fluent in Turkish and German but most have no English and do not really try to understand what it is one is saying (see comment above on how stressed the staff are). The main restaurant feels more like a canteen and is very busy at meal times. We often had no option but to share our table with strangers, as during busy times there are not enough tables. The food is plentiful (eat as much as you can) but repetitvie, the same salad bar lunch and evening. Similarly the deserts began to all look very familar towards the end of our seven day stay. The midnight buffet serves soup and left overs from the evening meal. We arrrived at midnight and were offered soup and a plate of food that had been kept warm for 3 hours. We went to bed hungry and very upset at the lack of welcome we received. The hotel is clean and efficiently run, rather like a factory, but not what you want when trying to relax on holiday. The hotel is a long walk outside Alanya, there are buses every 6/10mins at a reasonable cost, but we we expecting to be able to stroll into the town in the evening. The private beach is grey gravel sand with a supply of sunbeds. Swimming is not for the faint hearted as the beach shelves quickly to deep water. There is a beach bar (not on the beach) but again see comments as to smokers. There is live entertainment with loud music every evening until 1:00pm. There was AC in the room but the hotel had switched this off to all the rooms as they decided the temperature had dropped (it was 26 degrees). We would not recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing break and a bit of pampering. However, if you want to eat and drink as much as you can and are a smoker, this is the hotel for you.
