just got back from a week all inclusive , ok arrivel not the best , but could also be due to transfer delays , as on arrival directions to room was ' straight ahead ' ok it was 12.45am , but reception during the day was always very helpful and polite , room always kept clean and tidy , bed and bath towels changed or made daily . breakfast a bit of the same each day , but lunch and evening meal had a wide range of food choices available , plus all meals they have the grill providing fresh food , staff very friendly , yes there is quite a diverse amount of peolpe from various countries present but everyone made to feel welcome , seems ideal for both couple and families as the Animation team provided various entertainment for all tastes , upto you if want to join in or go to another area , both pool area , bar , reception seemed to be contantly kept clean by the staff.
WARNING : salesman , the best way to describe them, first morning 5 minutes after breakfast we get approached for a free trip to Sousse to see carpet making and leather , all it is is a hard sell shop ,
Although half day trip on pirate ship good value but remember to haggle we paid £25 a head others paid more
TIP; hotel will change most currencies if not all into Tunisian Dinar at current rate ( which is shown at reception)

Room Tip: all rooms a very like for like , compact , depending on group size

The public spaces in this hotel are really lovely, pool kept spotless, right on the beachfront (the sea's pretty vile but that's hardly the hotel's fault), main lobby looks recently done out and gardens are nice. The food is lovely, a couple of Tunisian dishes and a selection of stews, rice, chips etc. The bars were fine, it's the only all-inclusive cheap break I've ever taken where the wine was actually pretty good. The bus stops right outside the door and the staff are friendly and helpful.

The water park was great for kids, there is everything from a super-warm indoor pool to 4-story grown up water slides, so if you want to chill by the pool it's a great resort. Yes, most of the guests were non-Brits but really, I don't understand why this is bad. Everyone speaks English in any case, if you're stuck.

The downside is the bedrooms, which are small and in desperate need of an overhaul (bathroom filthy, aircon not working, everything slightly damp from the humidity). I think they would have moved us if we'd made a point of it but honestly, how much time do you spend in the room? We would have liked a decent sized balcony (ours just about fit one chair) so that when baby was sleeping we could play cards and have a glass of wine - but we were ground floor so we just sat next to the comedy balcony.

For what we paid, i.e. peanuts, this was a very good hotel, but given that about fifty quid a week extra would have put us in a 5-star resort that's what we'll do next time.

Room Tip: If you don't like your room, tell them. They will change it if they can

We had really good time in this hotel. Eden club is nice, clean hotel with great location between Monastir and Sousse. Near of the hotel is bus stop, so you can travel to the cities for 1 dinar. Some rooms are just so small and dark, but it s no problem to ask for better room on the reception. Only thing what we didnt like it was really small offer of alcoholic drinks.

Just got back from 11 days at Eden Club Skanes & we had a really great time! The transfer from airport was nearly 4hrs & were greeted by receptionist who spoke French! 1st room was not great but it was late so we slept in it but in morning really helpful lady receptionsist gave us a larger room which was kept spotless & fresh towels in room by our maid for entire stay. The grounds were kept immaculate & the smell of the flowers as you walked to reception at night was amazing. All the staff were lovely & work so hard all day everyday - a 'please & thank you' was appreciated & they love talking to the Britts. The hotel does cater mainly for French & Russians (who are extremly rude & arogant to the staff) but lets face it Spain is full of Germans!! It didn't spoil out break & we had several broken conversations with all nationalities. The food was ok, we had our fussy 18yr old daughter with us & she managed to eat - they always had pizza, pasta, chicken, beef stew & tons of salad & fruit - along with local dishes which you expect when you are abroad! Lets face it All Inclusive does get repetative wherever you go in the world? Drinks were very limited - beer, vodka (ask for good stuff!), whiskey, pernoid (their version) & wine but we didnt go to get drunk everynight so we found it ok. We did buy Red Bull (cost £1 a can) from the shops outside the hotel & mixed with vodka. It was nice not having loads of drunks staggering around. I think had we have known we would have bought some duty free with us for variety. Pools were kept clean - we used the Aqua Park most days - the slides were good fun & not overly busy. We hired a safety deposit box (which are at reception & not in room) which cost 2 dina a day & refundable deposit. Reception cahnge dmoney - UK Pound offered best exchange rate. The shops in hotel are more expensive than outside - a 5 min walk down road had Safari Shop that sells 'look-a-like' handbags for around 35 dina (£14) & Folla Shop sold fake 'Pandora' bracelets etc for about 35 dina (£14), crisps & drinks - no alcohol though! Westside cafe was lovely for a large cappacino for £1.20 & did steaks for about £5. We went on Boat trip to an island for day cost 60 dina (£24) each - lunch included which was a good day out. We also went to Monastair for evening - bar staff Monuir took us & showed us around - he spoke good english & didn't expect anything for taking us - infact we had to force some cash onto him!! Muhamed who sells rings & bracelets was just brilliant - didn't push for a sell - was just happy to talk!!! if you go buy a 'Reem' bracelet from him for 10 Dina (£4) & tell him 'Dave' sent you!!!! All in all for what you pay (around £20 a night for hotel) its brilliant value for money - yes the booze is limited but you can't get a B&B in Brighton for anywhere near that price!! If you want a boozy holiday with English food surrounded by Britts then maybe Benidorm is a better option! If like us you want a realxing break with sunshine (it hit 50 whilst we were there on several days) then I would recommend Tunisia. We were really worried after ready the negative reports but we would go back again - for the cost of this holiday we recon we got real value for money. If you want 5* luxury then you have to pay for it.

Room Tip: for couples ask for family room as they are bigger (gold key fob)

I stayed here for 8 days with my sister. It was a gift for our family to birthday, so we wanted to enjoy it. We have been worried about only three stars, but it was really unnecessary. The hotel outside look very good and the space in the hotel, like dining room, around reception it is really good. We got a small room in the first floor and with quite bad bath, so we wanted to change it. But other day we decided to let it be and enjoy our holiday.
There are a lot of space outside around swimming pool and in the beach. There is beach volleyball place, two bars outside and big swimming pool. A lot of deck chairs for taking.
Animators were amazing. We love them. Really. Everything was really amazing, like aqua qym, gymnastic, dancing around the pool, especially show in the evening!! There are really good dancers and showmans and good persons!
Everybody there was really good.:)))
Sometimes is annoying to speak with service people, but if you say decently no or something like that, its ok.

I will thinking about this holiday really a long time. I liked it.

Martina

My wife (Sharon Mitchell) has already written a review recently but forgot to add a few things so I am writing to warn people about this Hotel.

Firstly, my wife had 2 beautiful dresses stolen from her Wardrobe the morning we left for home. She wore one of the dresses the evening before so knows it was in the morning. We left for Breakfast and the maid came in to collect the dirty towels and that's when the dresses must have been taken. When we packed my wife didn't realise as you are in a rush to pack to leave the room by 12noon. She only realised yesterday and to say she is gobsmacked is an understatement. We gave the maid 5 dinar a day as a good will gesture and then this happens. What's wrong with these people ? Another English lady at the Hotel had a dress stolen from her wardrobe too - not good at all.

So do not take anything decent with you or you could end up losing it :-(

Also, take old extra shorts as the staff ask for your shorts before you leave. I was lucky to take some home with me. Never had this happen before. We've travelled all over and never had anything stolen or asked for.

Also, I would recommend hiring a safe deposit box next to reception and store EVERYTHING in there just in case. Do not risk leaving anything of value in your room.

Haggling is something that you have to do - get used to it as it's the only way to get a decent fair price on anything.

I would not recommend this Hotel - especially English people. This Hotel does not cater for the English!!

Room Tip: Ask for a Junior Suite - nothing special but slightly larger room. Basic rooms are far too small.
