Very good hotel for reasonable price. The staff is very hard working and friendly. This hotel has same standard as 4 star hotels except interior design.Would like to go back one day.:)Unfortunately hairdressing services not very good.

We (3 adults) stayed at the Sahara Beach from 4th to 11th July. The rooms were basic and quite small but they were cleaned every day and the air-conditioning works, essential when the outside temperature is over 40 degrees! Yes the rooms do look a little tired, but they're OK for a 3 star hotel.

The beach is lovely with plenty of sunbeds available (if you can't find one the staff on the beach will find some for you). If you want a sunbed by the pool you need to be up at the break of dawn, some people go down well before 6am, although there are signs saying that you cannot put towels on sunbeds before 7am this is definitely not enforced by the hotel.

The food wasn't brilliant, but it is a really large hotel and the restaurant can get very busy. If you like omelettes, you'll be fine. You're allocated a table for your whole stay and you have the same waiter each day. They soon get to know what drinks you'd like with your meal and have them ready for you.

There are plenty of bars to choose from, the best one is probably the piano bar if you just like to chill out in the evening - you'll find the friendliest waiters here. The evening entertainment is so bad it's good!

On the whole, the hotel staff were OK, but we did find the staff on reception to be quite rude. Yes you do have to tip, but that's just how it is.

I`ll start at the beginning. Arrived at around 4.00a.m. and was checked in and given room key quickly, didn`t fill in forms but i think this was their error. Rooms Ok but dated.Balcony light not working, but neither were anyone elses!! At breakfast allocated table for our whole stay. In corner a long way from food and as it was all very cramped it was difficult carrying plates and trying not to spill food over people sat at their tables. Breakfast was pretty poor, unless you like omlettes (long queues) or fryed eggs the only other choices were croissants and continental foods.
Did not visit reataurant for luch but used the beach snack bar or relaxation pool snack bar. Both hit and miss. Asked for a burger on a bap and got 4 meatballs instead of a burger!!!
Evening meals OK with enough choice to please most.
now my big bugbear. people getting up at 4.30 am. to get sunbeds with shade. This became a joke and we even heard of people going down as early as 1.30 a.m. to get these.Guys who put mats out also put heir own towels down so they can get a tip when they offer a bed with shade when they all appear to be taken.
Animation Ok but team very very chatty around the females.
Drinks OK and plenty of choice.
Overall we found this hotel far too big to be able to make you feel welcome and will not be returning.

Just back from Sahara Beach and can't fault it excellent family hotel. Staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly. Food basic but plentiful and tasty.Table allocated in restaurant for duration of stay on arrival so no worrying about trying to find table at busy times Loads for kids to do what with canoeing, sailing crazy golf, archery.tennis and mini water park all included in price. Maid service daily. Basic rooms but very clean resort. well worth a try. A dinar tip goes a long way and remember 1 dinar is only about 40p and service given when this tip recieved is as if you gave them a tenner tip here. Well worth it and just a common courtesy really!. Spa services available as well as water sports these cost very little tho compared to other countries eg jet ski,s 40 dinar which approx 18 pound for 1/2 hour

We (2 adults & 2 children) stayed 8 days at the hotel.
It's a 3 stars and no more, everyting was correct, not bad, not unforgettable.
Tips gives you more attention but it's not mandatory, except for the beds at the swimming pools if you don't want to wake up at 5Am and reserve yours.
Swimming pools can be more cleaned, you saw that before the ramadan it was better.
Good stay but don't think we'll get back there for next time.
