Stayed here for two weeks over Christmas for some winter sun. The sun did not disappoint and neither did the hotel. I thought it really good value having paid £150 for two weeks AI on a single occupancy. I found the food to be good even if a bit repetative over two weeks. There was always something to suit my tastes and the chips - for you chip lovers - were proper chips. If you like and want your "full English breakfast" this is not the place for you. No bacon, no sausage, no baked beans, but there are eggs cooked as you like and there are waffles, pancakes and some nice freshly gooked doughnuts. Lunchtimes and evening meals are what you would expect from a three star AI.

The service overall I found to be good, always helpful and hard working staff. As with other Arab speaking countries I have been to I always tip with one dollar US notes and this works well here too, and a regular tip goes a long way to getting good service at the bar.

The room I had was a sea facing double so good for the sunrise and not too noisy considering the road in front of the hotel. Good for people watching and cringeworthy moments watching three up on a moped, a regular occurance. There was one idiot on a motorbike regularly doing wheelies up and down the road at night which was a pain in the backside at times. All in all sleep quality was good as I had a nice big double bed, but the room was in need of some TLC though adequate for my needs. The room had heating/aircon but at night I turned it off and slept with the patio doors open for a nice breeze and the sound of the waves on the beach.

This was my first trip to Tunisia and this hotel is well situated for the town and a stroll around the harbour etc. The big let down for me was the rubbish. There is rubbish everywhere and it looks to be the same in other towns as well. I felt I was lucky as I did in fact see the roadsweeper one day and also got a glimpse of the rubbish truck. I'm pretty sure they do not have more than one of each going by the amount of rubbish, but if anyone should spot more please let me know.

In conclusion, this is a good value hotel for those on a tight budget whose expectations do not depend on "English" food. The people are friendly and you will get the usual hassle when shopping in the medina.

We stayed at this hotel for the new year myself my daughter grandson and sister and had a really great time the lady on receception was lovely always asking us if everything was ok most of the staff were very good I'm disabled and always someone to help me if needed the staff in the restaurant couldn't do enough for us always coming up to my grandson who is 4 and asking him if he wanted anything the food was nothing special but there was always something you could eat you would never starve for a 3 star in Tunisia this was a very good hotel and one that we will be staying at again soon I'm sure I can't wait to see all the friendly staff again

The hotel was clean and tidy, location was fantastic next to the beach, and scenery was beautiful, weather great for January
The entertainment staff were great (micho, Tito, Hassan.and Alex, they really made our holiday for our children, very attentive, (not many resident were there) very quiet in January, thank you

Food was good and lots of varieties, manager of hotel, good man, helpful, reception was friendly,
Indoor pool was small and cold most time, the staff(lifeguard)was an assxxxole,he was miserable and sad, moody, arrogant, vain, he made our swimming experience disappointing,
Cleaning ladies were very good, they were busy cleaning, and smiling, thanks you.

I could not find any socket in both of our room to charge my phone or camera, I had to turn the TV of then use that socket! and no clock anywhere in the hotel so take your own watch
They should change him otherwise other resident will also suffer and serious issue would rise from his behaviour

Bar was ok, bar staff needs to lighten up more, as they were also sad and miserable, I had to tell them to smile, and they did latter!!
Overall, a good hotel (we stayed at the small end of the big hotel as it was closed for winter)
There needs to be training to overall staff group with good customer service, more entertainment for adult
I am not sure how this hotel will cope in summer with more guests, I will be surprised if they could hold the same standard as they did with us, and it was average...

Room Tip: ask for seaview with balcony,no electronic socket in rooms

went for 1 week for newyear with my husband, we thought we was flying into monstir airport but it was tunsia which was about 2 1/2 hour drive, so we didnt get there until 1.30 am but the hotel had some food and drink ready for us, the hotel was clean, lovely big rooms, could always find something to eat, not much choise at the bar though for drinks, there didnt seem to be much entertainment but the staff was always around a few good nights though, we could find anything to spend our money on it was so cheap, they had a photographer who was excellent too us out on the grounds of the hotel and on the beach only charged 20 dinas about £8.00 for a big picture, all in all a great hotel if you want a nice relaxing holiday

This hotel was one of the best I've ever been to, the staff were very kind and helpful. I stayed there for the new year and performance for the new year celebration and it was outstanding. Samir Fataholaah the man in charge of the kitchen was very kind and welcoming. My children had fun on there with all the facilities. This hotel is suitable for families and i would recommend it.

After a shocking 4 hour transfer from the airport, we weren't really in a great mood on arrival, however we decided to make the most of our week. First impression was of a basic but clean hotel. This turned out to be the case, no problems with the room (large balcony, clean and comfortable) or the hotel. Both the outdoor and indoor (heated) pools were open (dont know where some other posters tried to swim), although the outdoor pool was a bit on the cool side. Pool areas clean and tidy and nice places to relax.

On the food side, wasn't a great deal of variety, but what was available was fine, if you were prepared to try things. They even had some Roast Pork and Chicken on some days, which for a non-european country was very decent of them. Only the pickiest or non-adventurous of eaters wouldn't be able to eat something.

The staff were fine, sometimes a bit of language barrier but this is not Britain and I believe a mainly Arabic and French speaking country so be a bit rude to expect them to speak perfect English. We got by and most of the staff could speak decent enough English to help us get what we wanted.

The animation staff were the stars of the holiday. Excellent entertainment and are a really friendly bunch. They try to get you involved but are in no way pushy or in your face. Most of the evening shows were very entertaining and they really try hard to make sure you enjoy yourself. They are also very good with help on where to go in town for shopping etc and give you good tips, even offering to venture out with you so you dont get too much hassle at the markets.

All in all, we had a fantastic week. The only downside was the amount of Brits moaning about the fact that it wasnt geared solely towards them. Sometimes we were a bit embarassed by the amount of moaning they did, considering we were not even in Europe, the Costa's or Britain. As said, if you want your Egg and Chips, full English breakfast and England in the sun, please stay away and don't ruin the place. This is Africa, embrace the people, the culture and the food and you'll have a good time.
