Stayed here on business for 4 nights in April. The hotel is mainly geared for French, German and Scandinavian markets, very few Brit tourists down here, although 50% of the staff speak excellent English so no problem.
The complex is laid out in a holiday bungalow style. I found it clean and pleasant. The 'rooms' are minimalist, just a bed, tv, table, small cupboard/wardrobe unit, but plenty of space and a small patio area.
The food and drink is what you would expect from an all inclusive style hotel, I actually found it ok, despite previous reviews. You just have to know what to expect at a budget all inclusive.
The beach area outside the hotel is fine for sun bathing and a bit of swimming, but despite appearances its not really a nice walk, once you are away from the hotel area it gets a bit unkempt and dirty, but stay near the hotel and all is fine.
