I visited the diar Lemdina with my friend in September 2013, we had an amazing time the hotel was magazine in a Castle like style. There must be hundreds of rooms, as the numbering went up to 1400, that we saw. The hotel has a medina incorporated into its grounds, after being there for 3 days we decided to have a proper look around, our first outing on the first night was a slight shock as we forgot about the sellers style in the medina, which you need to gear yourself up for and be firm. By night three we were on form....... Oh my!!! The grounds were unbelievable, we found approx 15-20 places to eat from fast food, lebanese food, Chinese, Italian to name a few. There was a casino on site, a disco, an amusement park, museum, untold places to try sheeshar, live music, 1000 nights stage show. So so ,much on site we really has no reason to leave. The beach is across the road about 200 meters away and there is a designated area allocated for the hotel, the life guards there Ennis and Rashid, so amazing and helpful. I love a pamper the ham man, sauna, massage, facial, body scrub wrap, loads a 3 hr experience about £60, amazing!!Honestly we had such a good time we got the days wrong we were due to go home, the hotel staff had to remind us to pack on the day. Will 100% be going back! Suitable for most but beware you could have as bit of a walk from reception, but it is still ok. Food was varied but not very spicy. Oh one down side but really you shouldn't have time... The hotel Internet was pants! Other than that" LOVED IT!

Room Tip: Aim for the pool area, if you like day time music. Beware floors are washed down outside every day...

I've been a few times to Tunisia and I have to say that this is the first very good experience from every points of view.
First, the hotel is very special, built with original materials, and gives you the feeling that you live in a castle. The rooms are suites with separated living room, kitchen and bedroom. Huge !
Food was really very tasty.
Concerning the staff, I never got problems like I used to in the past. They were giving attention but always with lots of respect!
Animation, well it says a lot when I said I was crying when leaving them, they are working hard and always smiling! The evening program is even beter with dance ou cabaret shows. Very profesionnals and giving attention to the guests. I felt like a VIP and a princess, which I was somehow...
I can only recommend this place if you re looking for the best place in Tunisia, go to Diar Lemdina!

We stayed from 30-09-13 to 10-09-13 worst ten days, we changed our room 3 times because of noise. The hotel staff are very friendly but I wouldn't rate the hotel as they do, it's more like 2-3. The beach was bad the rubbish everywhere including the sea and what looked like sewerage, the staff at the beach bar were miserable and rude. The food was the same every night with a little variation as in sauces so we lived mainly on chips and salad. Wifi cost you either 3dinar for half hr or 1hour for 5 dinar a right rip off when it's says free wifi. The medina shops are ok but be careful and if you take anything back as we did they advise you not to go back to medina again for safety. This was our 3rd time to Tunisia and will never return, I can't bare to see the horses used and abused, lame and thin! if people refused to go on the carriages there would be no need for them or if they were given some lessons on how to look after and feed them it may be of some help!

One of the best hotels of Tunisia!
Rested with a big company, we stated in this hotel second time
Convenient location. Around the hotel are many shops, cafes, restaurants, Thalasso center, entertainment center for children and Aquapark.
Good food, excellent rooms and service.
RESPECT for Animation team! You are the best!!!

A nice and budget hotel. Good service and lots is restaurants to explore around Medina. There are also different shops where the leather items are good quality and its up to you to bargain the price. I stayed during winter but imagine the place could get crowded during summer. I had a great experience of arab life and culture!

Room Tip: avoid being close to reception.....

Diar Lemdina is the best hotel in Hammamet. Big and beautiful hotel grounds, with its cafes and shops. Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean, cosy. Cut out all the time. The food is very tasty and diverse. The animation team of the best. The guys are working 100%, very cheerful and sweet, do not give to miss it is not on the beach, not by the pool. In the evenings animators show a very cool view. Thank you for everything.
