My partner and i spent a lovely relaxing week on a half board basis here.
Don't be deceived by the outside of the hotel, it is far grander and nicer inside.
The staff would bend over backwards to help guests. The rooms were spacious and clean with lovely floral gifts and towel displays from the maids. The reception area was spotless and welcoming and the bar intimate but lovely.
Food was delicious, plentiful and varied every day and night and the staff looked after you well here too. on the last night a beautiful candle and floral display awaits you at your reserved table for the week. There are several pools which are well maintained with attendants and a lovely beach at bottom of hotel with sunbeds and towels.
the gym is non existent so don't look for it.
Philip, our rep, was hysterical and helpful. Very knowledgeable man.
I was a bit disapponted with the immediate surroundings outside the hotel, but the excursions we went on were fantastic and Tunisia is a beautiful country. The hotel I recommend and Tunisia. Not too fussed on Hammamet tho

Definately not a 4 star hotell more like 3-. The A/C did not work, we told the management, nothing happened. Room not cleaned, the bathroom pipes did not work, so we had up to our ankles every day when we took a shower. Although we told the management nothing happened.
The all inclusive was a disaster; You could only get all inclusive in the restaurant, poolbar. At the beach bar the only served water/soft drinks in small cups 12 cl. If you wanted a beer or a glass of wine you had to go to the poolbar . The beer was served in small glasses of 15-17 cl (less for wine). The wine was not drinkable. The food were the same every day, When serving breakfast-lunch-dinner we felt like we were on a schooltrip in a cantine!

The Miramar has a wonderful beach but everything else...... We will never return.

The hotel was nice, the rooms were clean, big bed. The garden was very beautiful, with many flowers. There were workers by the main pool. Not so pleasend when they were working, but the pool was useable. Disco until 2 o clock in the night, a little loud for a good sleep. The food was ok, a lot of salads. The staff was ok also. Animation team was a little unprofesional but kind of funny. The beach was super, blue-green water, clean and the beach-beds cost 2 dinar for 1 day. I liked it a lot, I would go again there.
Have a nice HOLIDAY!

My wife and I were directed to this hotel on short notice on an all-inclusive package - a little detective work identified that 75% of the price we paid went to the tour company, with only approx. £15 per day per person going to the hotel for our food, drink, and accomodation.
Re the hotel:
The main pool area was being retiled and resembled a building site. Not usable for half the week, the shriek of the tile cutting machines made the other half very unpleasant. The all-inc dining room leaked when it rained. So did the all-inc 'club house' underneath it. The food was edible, but very basic - service was mediocre, apart from when a party of travel agents appeared. Entertainment was very poor quality. Features such as crazy golf, tennis court, weren't in use. All-inc guests were charged for such items as coffee in the main areas of the hotel. Hotel staff were no better than OK. The hotel is poorly located, not in a resort area.

This was a holiday where I was unsure what to expect after seeing some of the reviews on the net.
I was pleasantly surprised by the staff, hotel in general and the facilities this hotel had to offer. The rooms were very clean and the chambermaids were excellent. 5* service for a 4* price!!!!

Before i set out i had a quick look at Trip Advisor and was a little worried, however all that went away once we got there. The staff were pleasant, friendly and couldnt do enough for us. We were greeted with a free drink while we filled in our paperwork, and as we only had travellers cheques they provided us with water and anything we needed until we got our money sorted. The hotel was well equpped with everythin, the room was clean and tidy, and everyday we had a cleaner who did her job perfectly. The food was excellent, and again the staff couldnt do enough for you. Unfortunatly i was ill of one of the days, and again the staff went out their way to bring food to the room for us. Overall, we loved it so much were going again next year !

Maybe we were just unlucky but have stayed from 4/4/10 to 11/4/10 and had some cold days and very cold nights - not the average temperatures that we expected. SO, PLEASE TAKE SOME WARM CLOTHING.
We stayed on HB and certainly felt we had value for money. The food is basic but edible. The hotel is blatantly robbing guests on its charge for bottled water.
TIP: Smuggle in bottled water from across the road and don't drink alchol in the hotel as it is VERY exepensive. The local bars were much cheaper and very welcoming, (the locally produced Rose wine is very good.).
DO NOT ACCEPT ROOMS - 306 to 310 - they are above the nightclub where the bass booms out until the early hours, even causing the glass to vibrate in the windows !
