“Not as bad as some make out, but certainly mislead by Lastminute.com”
Reviewed June 1, 2013

We booked this holiday a couple weeks before travelling, and were told a couple of things by lastminute that frankly were not true. Firstly we were told this hotel was a 5 star, which it clearly is not. We were also informed that all-inclusive included free usage of fitness/gym which was £16 for usage for the week, of a frankly poor selection and quality of equipment.
That said, the hotel was generally good, with a variety of restaurants, bars and activities. The food was varied and plentiful, without the repetition sometimes experienced. The rooms were large, albeit a little tired and dated, but changed daily by attentive and helpful staff. I wouldn't mind returning to this hotel, but you got the impression that I requires a bit of a revamp to freshen things up and justify its status as a 4, let alone 5 star rating.

Room Tip: We booked this holiday a couple weeks before travelling, and were told a couple of things by lastmin...

I stayed in El Mouradi two weeks last summer. The hotel together with el mouradi hammamet belongs to the huge complex. 3 outdoor swimming pools with a lot of deckchairs give you a brilliant chance to sunbathe, Generally there is no problem to find a place to sit. Towels are available in the hotel.
The room was spacious and cleaned every day. It's not very modern (the hotel as well) but clean and absolutely fine. There is a main restaurant, snack bar, pool bar and lobby bar in the hotel. Actually something to eat and drink is available almost 24 hours. There's a beach bar as well. Food wasn't really great. Sometimes it was hard to find something eatable, but it's just my point of view. The people working in the hotel are nice, but some of them are pushing you too much to give them tips, which is not nice. There's a shisha corner in the hotel as well. Wi fi is free and the connection is really good.
The hotel is located in the centre of Yasmine Hammamet. Crossing the road, you find yourself on the beach. Few meters away is the medina with a lot of shops and cafes. In the short walking distance you can find Joy's - the store with fixed prices for those who don't like the arabic way of shopping :)

From the moment we arrived there which was late at night, staff were very friendly and helpful. Room we were given was excellent and when we did decide we wanted a cot for our tot they rushed one up to our room straight away. The pool area was busy but quiet with no loud people shouting. Lots of kids pools which my daughter enjoyed. Only let down was after a few days the food was starting to become bland so we ventured out to a few restaurants which turned out to be a good move. The hotel is situated near enough next to the beach so great location. There is a lobby area in the hotel with free wifi and also has an indoor pool. If we ever do return to Tunisia we would defo be staying here again.

Flew Thomas Cook from Cardiff to Enfidha , all flights on time and quick passage through enfidha airport . On arrival was easy to locate the transfers4u rep to get transfered to the hotel (took about 35 minutes ) . From start to finish had a fantastic time at the el mouradi el menzah . All staff was always polite and courteous especially sofien the lifeguard who always would go the extra mile and make sure we was comfortable throughout the day , Stayed in room number 3051 which was clean and not to high up with a nice view , Food we never went hungry at all and always enjoyed our meals , Entertainment is never up to everyones taste but again we had no complaints , if your game for a laugh then you cant go wrong , went to the Disco untill the small hours one evening whicg again was a great laugh ! Not many english here which didnt bother me at all as i have been to Tunisia many times and know the staff are always polite and would make you feel at home , Met lots of German friends who we enjoyed drinks with many evenings .
Pools was always clean along with the indoor pool .
Fantastic Holiday really enjoyed it and for the price we payed can not complain at all , Would definitely recommed !!

Good location next to a beautiful beach. Rooms spacious and clean. Food varied and tasty. Most of the staff are friendly and helpful. We participated in the trip to Carthage and Tunis - interesting and informative. If we have the opportunity to visit this hotel.

El mouradi El Mezi si somwhat dated but the friendly staff does an effort to make you feel at home. With a tip you'll get more done. So always carry some change, its a welcome supplement to their regular paycheck. The food is very good. A wide choice of meat, vegetables and salades, as well as a big choice in desserts. A "Boulevard" seperates the hotel from the beach.
Tip: Dont buy in the Medina's, they are expensive. Best buys in te "Supermarkets" near the hotels. Fixed prices and no agressive sales, much more relaxed.

Room Tip: Poolside El Mouradi has no sun, pleasant in summer. Streetside ("beachview") is sunny in t...
