Sip a mint tea and watch the world walk by and the sun set on the horizon. Extremely large cafe cum tea house. Maybe smoke a little shisha

Hammamet is pretty disappointing but the jewel in the crown is this cafe right on the water's edge. Get there in the late afternoon and you can see all the people who are out to be seen, have a great coffee and then watch the sun slowly sink into the West.

Although we didn't eat here, we did have some traditional black tea and a shisha pipe sitting in the walls of the Medina. The view across the sea was beautiful and the total cost of the tea and shisha was very good value. With little squat chairs, rugs and wrought iron tables it felt like a little haven of real Tunisia.

A definite must in Hammamet, if only for a spot of mint tea and water-pipe.

Loved this café. Situated right on the sea front in a traditional setting beside the historic medina. Good food, good price. Definitely the best place to go for lunch! They could charge twice the price and it'd still be a bargain!
