We enjoyed a relaxing four night stay at the Sinbad Hotel.
Our room was very luxurious and the hotel's private beach was very clean!
The staff on the beach were great setting up our chairs, tables and umbrellas for us,
and having the chance to eat lunch on the beach whilst enjoying the sun was great.

We stayed at the hotel so the servers waiters recognised us, the staff are friendly and work very hard, the drinks choice is limited and a actually a little bit pricey. This was our first time to Tunisia and honestly was surprised at the prices in the hotel, water is chargeable except at breakfast, 4DT for a bottle of water (1.5l), 5DT for a small beer and 8.5DT for a large beer - its a nice place to sit, plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and we didn't ever get "chased pressured or rushed" in the hotel like we were in the local cafes.

Although the staff are friendly, they are unorganised and extremely inefficient. Drinks have to be ordered a couple of times, then you re better off getting them yourself.

The food was extremely poor, even in the posh restaurant. After trying out a couple of options we resorted to eating pizza and dinning out. The service in the restaurants is also very poor.

The rooms and facilities in the hotel were good, although the could be updated, fixed and cleaned more often.

I would not be recommending this hotel to friends or family

The hotel is very glamorous. Me and my girlfriend had a huge bedroom with a queen size bed. We had an ensuite bathroom with a shower and and a bath. We had a huge area for sitting about and a balcony. Oh yer, and two 32 inch tvs for some bizzare reason!

Anyway, apart from the hotel rooms, the hotel itself is very nice. Three pools which are all very refreshing and four resteraunts which all do fantastic fish dishes. From our hotel room it was a 5 minute walk to the beach which was exquisite. The staff are very friendly and will cater to your needs. When we went it was during ramadan so the staff were unable to eat and drink during the day. This did not effect the service at all, they were fantastic.

We realized that the location of the hotel is also very desirable. It's a 3 d.t. Cab to the old town which is £1.50 where you can find beautiful architecture and a couple of nice resteraunts, however there is nothing nicer about the resteraunts in old hammamet than the hotel resteraunts apart from the price. It was a 8 d.t. Cab ride to the new town which was about 10 minutes away. This is where the majority of the hotels are. It is a nice town but is very touristy and we were glad that we weren't there the entire time.

Friendly staff, beautiful rooms, great food and great location!

We booked in january but was let down by a major travel company in the U K but we still went to the beach here regardless, well then walk down the white clean entrance to the infinity pool which greets you to the beach, every thing you should want from a beach, eating establishment ,atmosphere is here and the food is to die for plus you get treated as the only guest on the beach, the bar staff were exellant friendly and the contempory music when you unwind on the white soffas at night is to be experienced while you sort out the world with fellow beach friends from various corners of the world, the wine selection is to be admired also so if anybody wants a beach and a infinity pool thrown in here is the place to go plus its only a 3 hour flight from the U K
