Amazing service, very polite staff and great location. Very clean, spacious rooms. Lovely room maids, always came back to a clean room :o

Sami and mohammed are great front if house, a the half board restaurant.

Also, the WiFi is super strong. A free safe and room service. True 5 star luxury,

I prefer old hammamet and this hotel is at the best spot,
Will return.

We only spent one night here at the end of our exploration of Tunisia but could have stayed much longer. This is a lovely hotel set in really nice grounds just off a private beach. Our room had a little courtyard for sitting out and was really clean and comfortable; well decorated and spacious. We were able to leave our window open during the night (they have fly screens) and it was wonderful to hear the sea and the birds in the morning. Food was very good and the cocktail hour was a nice touch. All staff were impecable

Room tip: Get a ground floor room with a path to the beech.

After a government enforced break we came back for our annual Golf break and we were pleased that the Sindbat has not changed. This hotel is definitely 5 star, the rooms are large, well equipped and the staff is excellent. In spite of the inclement weather, which was unusual for March, we enjoyed every minute here and no doubt, we will be back next year.

As a family of four, we visited the Sindbad in the summer of 2018 for week. After we booked the hotel, some negative reviews left us wondering if we had made a decision that we would come to regret. However, this was far from the case as our experience was absolutely amazing!

The hotel itself is beautiful, with pretty gardens and a long beach which very relaxing. The pool club is also a nice feature of the hotel. We ate lunch there many times next to the infinity pool overlooking the sea. The standard rooms were huge in size compared to that of many other standard hotel room sizes! Housekeeping was always of the highest standard and left lovely touches to the rooms each day like little flowers on the bed. The cleaners themselves were so friendly and always smiling- they are a true credit to the hotel.

Breakfast was great, as is lunch in the hotel, and again the waiters are all very attentive and make an effort to get to know you! We opted for half board and ate in the main restaurant. This would alternate between a buffet style dinner and a la carte throughout the week. The food was delicious and very high quality with a very substantial range of food to suit everyone. One day they did a bbq too which was excellent! At the back of the restaurant everyday, the chefs are also able to make some dishes fresh and in front of you (these vary everyday- from pizzas to pastas). The waiters and chefs in the restaurants were incredibly friendly and attentive. Everything was lovely and we do not regret going half board at all. There are other restaurants (not included in half board) if you wish for a variety, but for us the main restaurant kept us very satisfied!

Overall our stay at the Sindbad was wonderful. The staff make every effort to make your stay as perfect as it could possibly be and we would love to come back one day!

The Sindbad is a very nice hotel set within large grounds which go down to the beach. Room was very large and very clean, our cleaner was lovely and left beautiful towel arrangements and decorations on the bed. Staff are very pleasant and helpful. There are plenty of bars/restaurants to choose from, however, some of them you will have to pay in. We were half board so just used the 1 allocated to us. Our waiters were Sami and Mohammed, who were really good and professional. The Gala Dinner of New Years Eve was nice. Plenty of food and entertainment. Generally, the food was ok with plenty of choice. We stayed in the bar in the hotel as there wasn't much near us. Ridda at the Chef de Bon bar looked after us very well and was always very charming.
Not as cheap as I was expecting though. Hammemet itself is not particularly clean. The medina is a bit of nightmare if you can't put up with being hassled. Shops or market, I would suggest you haggle the price as they are well inflated. Weather was lovely when first arrived but changed on New Years Eve! Rained for 2 days and then was quite cold during day-take a coat for this time of year.
