If your from Eastern Europe then this is the place for you, if your from the uk then don't bother, room and cleanliness is ok but the food is terrible, and entertainment is bad, my advise would be don't go here

Hotel is good but not perfect but you can't expect that for this price. Beach is closeby, about 500m. Hotel and the rooms are very clean! Any problems are fixed instantly (day and night). Breakfast is poor because there is hardly any choice (great chocolate croisants btw). Lunch and diner are ok (repetitive dishes if you are there more than a week). Staff is absolutely amazing! Always friendly and very helpful. This goes for reception, restaurant, bar and animation. They accompanied us several times after their shifts to go shopping so we wouldn't be bothered by pushy salesmen. We had the same waiter every day: mr. Moez, he always had our table ready with drinks waiting and a couple of times made a great effort decorating it with flowers and such. Animation team is very good, they try hard all day to organise fun activities and get you to join, if you don't want to they will leave you alone. For us they made our stay more fun especially thanks to Ben, dudu, Justyna and our favourite: Adrianna Rucińska also known as Ada (the lovely blonde girl on the pictures)

where do i begin with this hotel..
We arrived to check in, at the counter were several groups of people trying to get moved to a different hotel. not a good way to start out trip. however we have travelled all over the world and experienced the best and worst hospitality so are willing to try anything.
our room was allocated, we went upstairs, used the toilet which then flooded the bathroom floor with the contents. NICE...
we changed rooms the following afternoon after a maintenance man tried convincing us hat it wasnt too bad to have human waste on the floor.. GET REAL!
our new room was acceptable. very basic but it had a bed, aircon and a working toilet and shower. it was somewhere to sleep.
sadly things went rapidly downhill with the hotel.
the food was such poor quality, i seriously wouldnt feed some of it to my dog! it was repetetive and poorly prepared. and quite often whatever was left from the previous meal was somehow reincanated in the next.. i think the chef may have been a budhist!
we werent made ill by the food , but decided we would eat elsewhere. the hotel is ideally situated right next door to 'carthage land'... this place has umpteen different cafes bars and resteraunts both inside and out. there is a lebanese resteranut further down the promenade which is superb.
the staff in the hotel were terrible. the entertainment staff acknowledged our existence, but as for waiting staff and bar staff, if i was the manager i would simply replace the lot of them. they were rude, ignorant and more interested in conversations with each other than working.
the staff at the check in were polite and efficient, when we had an issue they were very helpful and sorted the problem quickly.

the beach area is a 5 minute walk on a hot day, its not part of the all inclusive and appears to be run by some sort of racketeering group. the guys who try selling the dodgy cigarettes all meet here to get their supplies on a morning, and then stop here for breaks during the day. the older guy who looks aftert the beach (nothing to do with the scallies in the beach bar) is great. if you give him a couple of dinars here and there he will be most helpful. which is a great advantage when the beach is dominated by russians and polish who simply hog everything. (he even saved us some beds several times using his own towels).

the swimming pool area is simply dog eat dog... i was continually amazed at how ignorant people could be, the best example was 3 towels over 6 beds and 2 parasols... and no one used them all afternoon. they were there if they needed them though!! the beds were often taken before breakfast which left the only option as the beach.

jasmine hammamet itself was ok, theres nothing there really apart from sovenier shops and cafes. it is a purpose built tourist destination so there is none of the 'local charm' here. it is generally clean, however several times the beach was ruined by large quantities of litter coming down from the harbour area. and frequent visits from jeely fish.. (they sting like a stinging nettle and are otherwise harmless).

there are better resorts in tunisia (this was our 3rd visit), and certainly better hotels. with my hand on my heart i cannot honestly recommend sandra club to anyone, it is the only bad thing about our stay, and i saw it ruin the stays of several other people who couldnt get moved from the hotel. it is that bad. please believe the reviews.

Room Tip: To get a good room, try a different hotel.

stayed in this hotel for a week with my gf arrived early hours guy in recepition was polite .....room was quite big but basic had only 2 sockets: 1 in room and 1 in bathroom clean towels everyday was a plus side bad point is at 30+ degrees and you aint got much air con is not a good way to start your holiday.......

1st night was there was a bit of a disaster food wise found 5 bones in my food -1 where i nearly choked . i'm not 1 for complaining about there food but i had never ever experienced such bad food even complained about the bones- did anything get done no the waiters didnt give a dam at all we ended up just having dinner which was at 12.30 and really only had chips as they were prob best thing on offer. they often ran out of cutlery and plates - and when you consider how many people were staying at the hotel - only 6 trays of hot food were put out and to be honest it was crap!! no taste and food often ran out and tookes to be replenished.

Each day after the 1st day we had our evening meals out at a place called the 'steakhouse' which is fabulous great food and great service british owned live football all the time karaoke on mondays and fridays (try there steak in wexford sauce mmmmmm) as you come out the hotel turn left walk to end of road and turn right walk to where the big model elephants are then your at the steak and grill......back to the hotel .....free bar is only till 11pm and can only get 2 drinks at a time and usually come in small plastic beakers ...... and often a long queue for the bar as there was only one.

Note - All inclusive does not extend to the beach bar - you walk down to the small section of beach that Sandra club has - and you have TO PAY for any soft drinks / alcoholic drinks - i was told all that was inclusive was the WATER.

plus side animation team are great and do everything possible to get the hotel entertained .......the foreigners there are pure ignorant dunno if there polish or russian but never met so unhappy people in my life manners dont cost a penny and im glad to say us british know how to use them .....id go back to hammermet but prob not to this hotel, Tunisia itself was fab, lovely beaches.

Think generally - nice enough basic hotel - defo not a 4 star - more like a 2 star.
Food was shocking!!!
Great aninmation team that made it so enjoyable.

This is not a 4 star hotel,i would rate it as a 2 star. We arrived late at night to other guests demanding that their room needed to be changed. We were shown to our room which was on the ground floor, the lighting in the room is poor and there is only one socket. Room was very basic but it was clean and we had clean towels on a daily basis. Beds were clean but bedding is very basic and the sheets and pillows were yellow.

Food and the dining experience was a nightmare there is one main servery with about 8 trays of hot food catering for over 200 people, the dining room opens at 7 and i have never met such rude and ignorant people as the Polish who either dont understand what it means to que. they pushed in constantly and heaped piles of food on to their plates. The whole dining room needs to be looked at, again the dining room was also poorly lit and there are loads of flies flying round uncovered food.

If you went to the dining room towards the end of dining then you could at least get some food but there wasnt always the choice available.

Bar area was poor there is an outside bar area which is rarely open, which meant you had to cover up and put footwear on to go back in to the hotel to the bar area which again was dark and dingy and you had to wait in a que to be served. Again other guests would just push in. the wine was awful tasted like vinegar and the bottled water was often served warm. We got a vodka one night and there was no way was it vodka.

Entertainment team tried to get everyone involved and there was lots on offer if you wanted to join in. Some of the entertainment team were only interested in trying to chat up the young girls.

Pool area was nice but we only saw the pool being cleaned once during our stay. sunbeds had no mattresses and were hard and uncomfortable. You had to get up each morning and get your own sunbed.

Would i go back yes to Tunisia but no to this hotel

Plus points to Sandra club; Air conditioning worked very well in room. Animation staff gave good atmosphere to hotel, not much English spoken but they tried to include everyone. Adriana was very nice and friendly and made games of French Boules, Darts etc good fun and made everyone welcome. Towels changed every day but only had 2 towels for 3 people!
Bad points to Sandra Club; Hotel very tired. Food awful (& I will usually eat anything). Constantly waiting for plates, cutlery and more food! All three of us had severe diarrhoea at different times throughout the week. Nightly entertainment was directed at eastern European guests who obviously have a different sense of humour!! All inclusive drinks included red, white and rose wine which I could only drink if I put lemonade with them. Beer and Bouka (a local drink which resembles paint stripper). Sorry to say I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.

No toilet paper soap or hand towels in hotel toilets on many occasions.
Unused food, including fish, served repeatedly.
2/21 meals provided with drinks by waiter.
Frequent unavailability of cutlery, plates, tables, food.
Ants over bed, bathroom and no apparent measures to address this.
Arabic lessons available by children's club, teaching swear words and words for genitalia, including imagery on a chalkboard.
Have stayed in morocco, egypt and tunisia previously and enjoyed fantastic holidays but sandra club was absolutely diabolical.
