hi,i have been on holiday to hammamet before and had a good time, but this time staying at sandra club hotel made it more enjoyable,i arrived late at night, was welcomed with open arms.had a nice clean room with a huge window overlooking the beautifull swimming pool.
all the staff there were very nice and helpfull, from the door security, the room maids, the receptionists, the barmen, waiters, entertainers, even the general manager akram had time to come and talk to guests.the food was out of this world, the choices are incredible for breakfast, lunch or dinner, amazing taste!nice and clean bar, lounge and restaurant, great range choice of drinks served with great attention and a big smile, the entertainements in the evening were hilarious organised by nagui the 14 languages speaker and his troup, speedy, jumbo, sabrina and all the rest(sorry dont remember all the names)but thank you all.thank you to ayoub, fafik, all bar and restaurant staff and everyone, you made my stay at sandra club hotel very special its i booked my ticket already to come back in june,i recommend sandra club to anyone who wants to feel special on their holiday, god bell.franck from london.

Room Tip: no need for that, all, the rooms are great

There were a few things that made us not like this hotel, the first is that every time you used the shower it reminded you of a Katy Perry song where the lyrics go something like "You're hot then your cold", which is exactly what this was like. You'd be under the shower cleaning your face with lovely warm water, which which quickly turn to freezing cold, then back to hot again.

The bed reminded me of the time the wife made me sleep on the bedroom floor, except the bedroom floor had a little bit more cushion to it. You'd wake up with a bad back and neck every morning.

The drinks from the all inclusive bar were usually served in tiny glasses, so you'd probably need 5 of them to make a pint!!!

You get pestered a fair bit from staff within the hotel to go on quad bikes, and ships etc.

The food was terrible, firstly, it was cold, and the options on a daily basis were something like a little salad (no meat), rice, pasta, some kind of bit of chicken, a bit of a fish and some fruit that looked like it had done 10 rounds with mike tyson. On the couple of days we tried the food, it was stone cold. I remember one day there were chips, and people were taking 2 plates each so they were quickly gone, and a queue started appearing.

Finally, the place was full of french people, all the staff greeted us with 'Bonjour', with one member of staff saying were were the only english couple in the hotel and they don't get very many english.

The coridoors of the hotel area very echoey, so if your not a heavy sleeper you hear every door slam, footstep etc.

The hotel looks nice from the outside, and although the rooms were not great, there are certainly worse.

we stayed over christmas and new year at this hotel. The food was mainly cold and all that you had to reheat it was one micowave in the whole restaurant, which you sometimes had to que to use, the all inclusive drinks were a joke, and they often ran out and tried to sell you branded drinks at ( £5 bottle of larger ). internet conection rip off , didn't work, no refund. Reception staff would not call holiday rep, tried to sort out matters, only to make them worse, phoned holiday rep from public phone. Filed 2 page statement of complaints with holiday rep. This hotel is not 4* and needs a big shake up.

We went for the new year celabrations all inclusive.
The all inclusive drinks were 2 local spirits, wine, beer and cola, sprite and fanta..
They ran out of spirits 3 times wine once.
Weasked the hotel manager when they had run out of drink if we could have another brand he sead yes if we bought it.
The food was always cold and the only way to get ahot meal was to use the microwave oven and there was up to 300 people in the hotel so a hot meal for 4 was a long process.

The gala meal also had to be microwaved if toy got it in 7 hours.

The corridors of the bedroom blocks were never lit .and the only way was to ask the reception to put the lights on.

The fire escape doors were broken and with no ligts to find tour way it is a disaster waiting to happen.

If you want to go to sleep before 4 inthe moring forget it as the noise from the disco in the bar is app 120 Dba.

This is not a 4 star hotel more like a 1 star hostel

Just got back from a week at the hotel sandra club and my partner and i had a lovely break. The staff could'nt do enough for us, so a big thank you to the entertainment team and samir the pizza chef.
The hotel itself is not the most stylish in the the world but for the price we paid we wouldn't expect it to be, paid just over 200 quid each all inclusive which is great value for money considering the food is lovely and the room was kept immaculate by the cleaners. The hotel is just 5 min walk from the huge clean beach and a few restaurants, shops and marina, not the livliest place to go if you want bars and nightlife, but if like me, you just want to relax, you could do a lot worse than this hotel.

this is my third time at the sandra club, and what can i say! we had a fantastic week the rooms are kept spotlessly clean, yes maybe a little dated but clean. the hotel is kept clean too. the staff are fantastic and couldnt do enough for us, the service in the restaraunt and bar is good.having stayed at other hotels in tunsia you cannot fault this hotel for the price you pay. we never had a problem with the food it was nice and hot with lots of choice, even for the fussiest eaters( like my 7yr old daughter) if you are looking for burger and chips then stay at home or go to spain the animation team were absolutely fab with all the guests especialy with the children, hello to jambo. brahim, chicco and the rest of you, and thankyou for keeing us all entertained despite the ong hours you work....................see you all soon. we have just got home from a lovely week at this hotel, nothing was too much trouble and the staff made our stay very memorable. Our table was decorated with flowers and the staff couldnt do enough for us. one couple whos little girl only liked certain food told the staff who made the foods she liked. The staff took time to talk to you and were such good fun, our rooms were clean and for the price we paid we could not complain. The food was very nice and reading the reviews before we went all i can say is if you cant find something you like then there is something wrong. these reviews must be written by ten bob millionaires who pay little and expect the Ritz, yes there are flys! however you are in Tunisia! We enjoyed the culture, different foods and resort, if you dont want that then dont go abroad! Fantastic value for money and would go back.
