Just arrived back on the 4th October. I really enjoyed my holiday and would definietly go back no hesitation. I found the hotel to be very enjoyable, the rooms were clean, the swimming pool was lovely and there were enough sun beds to go around any time of the day. The food was not brilliant but once again i've been to a few all inclusive holidays and basically they seem to be the same standard where ever you go, so i thought it was pretty much average. The hotel staff were brilliant and very friendly, especially the entertainment and the shop guy, always there to help and were quite a good laugh. The bar staff could have been a bit more friendly but there again you can't have everything i suppose but they were always polite. The beach was fantastic and only a short stroll from the hotel. So all in all i enjoyed myself thoroughly and would defintely go back, hopefully in the next few months.

We have just returned from this hotel. Had a great holiday. The room was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. Food was the classic all inclusive and possibly could have been better, but talking to people whilst there and since arriving home it seems to be the same in all hotels.
I would return to Club Sandra no hesitation. We had a fab time very relaxing. If you get the chance go on the Desert Safari trip its a long trip but worth every minute.
Have a lovely holiday.

The rooms were clean, basic but clean. The food was awful and gave me
and my parnter bad tummy's, very cheap and often cold food. the staff
but 1 were very unhelpful..like they didn't want to help. The snack bar is only open to have pizza around 4.30 till 6 and you are made to
queue and wait and only have a piece. the all inclusive stops at 11pm
and you have to pay. we ate out twice to get away and have nice food in the marina area which was really nice. The shops in ther local area had some nice bits but you are pulled in to many and if you polietly say no they swear and are quite rude...The swimming pool is nice, kept clean and the sun beds are good. The entertainment was ok but all finshed at 11pm and then a disco area in the complex opens
up till the last people are in there so music very very loud and goes
on quite late. The beach area was clean but no where to use a toilet and no drinks or food supplied down there, which on other all inclusives that was apart of it. The hotel in my eyes was not a 4 star poss a 2. I agree with the other review that getting money exchanged was difficult..When arriving at the airport you have to fill in a visa type thing before getting through pasport control, which they then give you back the bottom slip don;t lose it as you need to give it back when you come home.

And as they don't like there money going out of the country you have to submit you money or they just take it when going through to the departue bit and then to buy drinks waiting you need euros or to use you credit card! Also you have to hagle alot as they will charge alot for something that is quite cheap for a ring i bought at first were charging around £100 but got it for £10.

I had previously read reviews and all i can say is we had a great holiday and make your own mind up, I was previously worried about visiting tunisia after I visited this website and didn't mention it to my partner as i didn't want to put a downer on the holiday. So anyway this could be long because I talk alot :) Hope it's helpful:

Room:

Was great clean and tidy, plenty of room for a 4 star, beds were made daily, didn't feel dirty, good view off our balcany and some good room decore especially the roof. (This is not 5 star, ive stayed in five star before and there is a difference, this is 4/3 star room wise)

Pool:

Great again clean and tidy, not huge but spacious enough, looks bigger than some of the pictures shown actually, outside pool bar area serving pizza around lunchtime, another smaller bar serving cocktails and wine. Sunbeds are quite available unless your trying to get one late afternoon then you might be disapointed because they could all be taken.

Bar staff:

Mixed bunch really some are really friendly and others have an attitude problem, I found just being polite with them worked for me and they seemed to warm to me and my partner we were having a joke with them by the end of the holiday, they could seem a bit short at first though.

Reception Staff:

There ok they seemed more concerned about having a laff than getting a serious answer out of them, for example we were in search of a pharmacy and they were to busy flirting with my girlfriend than they were directing us in the right direction (you get that in tunisia though if you have a pretty partner, expect to be offered camals for you partner and told that she is hot on a regular basis, they aren't touchy feely with women though which is great so they dont cross the line)

Beach:

The beach is FANTASTIC... It's not far from the hotel at all, literally a left turn out the front and a straight walk on to the private beach, about a 2 minute walk down the road, there is plenty of water sport as well that is literally right next to you, beach parachutes, jet ski's, banana boats all for a respectable price as well...

Be prepared for people trying to sell you things on the beach front though, but a polite no thankyou and a turn away normally does the trick, normally fruit which i wouln't recomend trying even for free a rep warned us off, also the cigarettes on the beach are FAKE, buy them from the hotel shop or duty free...

Food:

The food isn't great at all, that was our main gripe, but it is Tunisia people, it's a real mixed bag the one thing i enjoyed all holiday was spagetti bologanase, otherwise me and my partner always ate out...
Food Places to visit:

The View:

This is owned by an english women that is very friendly, we ate there alot, they have full english breakfast, omlette and chips, cheese and onion toasties, they also have english books and magazines you can read for free...
This is located left out of the hotel front, straight down towards the beach, then a right and it's on the corner of the next junction, seriously you can't miss it...

The ShakeSpeare:

Same again an English bar, this time though they do themed nights like kareoke, they also do a drag show on a friday night not my sort of thing but my partner wanted to go and it was a great laff, more like a comedy show than anything...

They do live sports at both them bars as well, the football games and F1, Rugby, you won't get them at the hotel...

That's a point the TV:

In the hotel there's only one Euro News channel everything else is French etc...

The People:

Expect to have people trying to sell you things when you leave the hotel, kids, adults, dont be intimidated it's no big deal they won't grab you or touch you just say no thanks and walk on, it can be iritating though, go in the fixed price shops where the prices are on everything, in there you won't get any hastle, if you go into certain shops you will get grief and feel pressured to buy something...

We went quading:

It was quality, great venture out my partner enjoyed it just as much as me, you go up the mountainside on some real offroad turrain, visit some sites in tunisia, it's a good time...

We went to carthridge land theme park which was next to the hotel:

Again it was a good day out, the river rapids were especially good and put alton towers ones to shame, they have an african jungle theme with moving guerillas, africans, crockadiles all electronic of course, you get a free camel ride part of the price as well, there's lions and tigers, bumper cars and other attractions, do be warned though the other areas outside of carthridge land theme park right next to it are full of sellers and there not fixed price, there a real pain in the backside, every restaurant is come in please, buy this please, i do you good price, its really a nightmare in some areas...

other tips is just meet other couples to keep yourselves entertained we met loads of people and had a right laff, the night life isn't great plenty of restaurants but no clubs so if your after a holiday with the mates you might want to look elsewhere, it's great for relaxing though...

Overall:

Me and my partner had a great holiday, the weather and beach was great, so was the hotel it was just the food and certain staff that let it down, in my opinion it is no where near as bad as some people make it sound, i've stayed in many 4 stars before and although some have been better they have been self catering and the food in Greece wasn't much better last year...

BIG TIP just thought:

Please Please check your transfer infromation, they loaded us onto the wronge coach for the wronge airport on the way back luckly enough I double check things, I repeatedly asked the guy that it was monistir that we wanted and not tunis, it turns out he'd loaded us on for an airport miles away, so he had to turn the coach around and drop us back off at the hotel, nightmare when you just want to get home and not miss your flight, just ask the driver about which airport he's going to... trust me that's making a long story short... (This wasn't the hotels fault just the coach drivers)

Also if you can get optional transfers then get them for sure, it's a about an hour and a half to get to the hotel so you'd be looking at 60 quid there then 60 quid back in a taxi...

I think that's about it really, good luck and have a good holiday...
