We had not booked this hotel but ended up here as the hotel originally booked was closed!!! The room was very big and we had a beach view. It was not 4* by British standards but for the price it costs to stay there what do people really expect??? The beds were ok but the pillows were either mega-lumpy or like rock and the place could do with a bit of freshening up however it was clean and the cleaners came in with fresh towels everyday. The staff were very friendly and the pool was lovely. The food was ok, could have been better but then again when you go abroad you go to experience the culture, if you want English food stay in England!! Outside area not fantastic but taxis into Yasmine Hammamet were cheap and there were plenty of shops and restaurants there if you want a change from the hotel food. All in all a good, cheap place to stay. We were the only British people at the hotel, we were told it is not a popular hotel for Brits and there were lots of French, Germans and Russians but we didn't mind as the waiters seemed to want to chat and laugh and joke with us as we had a sense of humour!!!

just returned from a 2 night stay at this hotel with my family.Unfortunately there had been a problem with our booking [we had booked at Paradise palace but were directed to this hotel instead].On arrival the gentleman at reception told us he would give us a room if we booked transfers back to the airport with him [80 dinars after haggling].The room was spacious but in desperate need of refurbishment -there was no toilet seat ,only some of the bulbs were working ,the towels were horrible green and old -the curtains were ripped in 2 places -and the hammock in the balcony was broken .The food varied better the next day but of poor standard on the first day.The pool was however clean ,the beach was amazing ,and the gardens were well kept -so we decided to spend our time outside the room as much as possible .The animation team did try their best to keep the guests entertained .I would definately not return here again !The area around the hotel was dead and the medina + yasmine hammamet were too far to walk .

ok what ever you read on the internet about what this hotel offers forget it
I went on my own all inclusive and yes i did enjoy the hotel even though it lacked some things

i got a decent sized room that was cleaned everyday, however they always left te dirty glasses and there was never an ashtray...
the food wasnt the best i had however there was something for everyone, the fresh pizzas were nice..
The all inclusive bar was a let down all you could get was water, soft drinks, beer and wine
The animation were always keeping the people entertained during the day altho they didnt really do much on the night times as there wasnt many guests but they still came and spoke to all the people
There is a disco just next to the hotel which was brilliant had good music
going back again in june with my son to see if he likes it

This is a great hotel to stay at in Hammamet and by the looks of the neighboring hotels we thought this was defintely the best hotel in the area. Very nice and clean pool. Good sized rooms but very very hard beds and crappy pillows. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the food in the hotel was very nice. We had a good week here. The beach was nice but the water was very dirty at this time of year apparently. DO not eat at the beach restuarant to the left of the hotel (about 600 meter) the food was terrible, we could not eat anyting that we ordered. My friends burger came out almost raw and my calimari was deep deep fried and very horrible and burnt.

Room Tip: Choose a room on a high floor and away from the entertainment/lobby if you can, the hotel have disco...

Just returned from a week at the Regenc in Hammamet on half board basis after booking a cheap late break.
On arrival the hotel itself appears a little tired, as were the rooms, however, the food was superb plenty of choice at breakfast and in the evening, all the staff, bar restaurant and reception were helpful, cheerful and polite, and we all had a fantastic time.
