I stayed here with my partner for 10 days we have just got back and had such a good experience. I will try to keep this short and sweet to give you an idea of what the hotel is like:
Hotel Service/staff - absolutely fantastic, you will get to know most of the staff as they are so friendly, if you want you can give some of them a little tip (like a pound or two) they really appreciate it since the salaries are so low in Tunisia.
Rooms - Cleaned daily no issues, large enough. some people on tripadvisor have complained about the airconditioning, you have to make sure that the balcony door is closed so that it turns on. I personally had NO issue with it at all, you have come to a hot country expect it to be warm and dont complain. there are plenty of cool area's that you can go to in the hotel, the air conditioning is on in the evening and throughout the night and is very cool. during the day it makes sence for the hotel to not have it on...if you are on holiday dont spend it in the hotel room go out to visit places.
Food -Very good selection of food both Tunisian and also European they cook fresh pizza and have a selection of food for children. They also have nice icecream and great creps! There is also an outside area by the pool where you can get food at luchtime
Drinks - nice slush puppies to keep you cool during the day, also a good selection of standard alcholic drinks, nothing lavhish though. they make cocktails (but with a twist i.e. their own versions) but still nice...and of course all the soft drinks you require
Pool - Usually very busy but fun to be in since there are loads of activities that go on during the day, but go to the beach (3 min walk) there are plenty of sunbeds to lie on you have not come on holiday to just stick next to the swimming pool have you?
Beach - Beautiful sandy beach, the only issue here is that you will have locals coming up to you trying to sell you whatever they can...but you just say politely no thank you (maybe a couple times) and then they leave you alone. I prefer the beach more, it makes you feel more like you are on holiday. The sea sometimes very calm and clear and on other days a little more wavey...the sea is not cold at all!
Entertainment - the animation team work very hard all day, and in the evening there is always something for everyone from archery, childrens activities and waterpolo etc....they also have evening shows which most people come out to watch after dinner.
overall had a fantastic time, would really recommend this hotel to anyone if they want to enjoy their stay. Hotel manager is very friendly and will ensure that you have a good time!!!!
