The Chich khan hotel was our 1st time to Tunisia and we loved every second of it. I will try to sum up a great hotel and hopefully cover our good and bad points during our holiday. We arrived around 12:30am, checked in and then a porter showed us to our room. The room was clean, adverage size and included a tv, hair dryer, fridge, over bath shower and the toilet was separate to the bathroom. We were on 3rd floor and had a balcony that overlooked the front of the hotel. The only negative with the room was the fact the air condition didn't work and we only had a fan. We asked at reception if someone could have a look at it on our first day and 2 days later we still hadn't heard anything about it and it hadn't been fixed. We asked at reception again but another two days passed so we then went and requested to be moved rooms as was too hot for our little girl. The second room was huge with two rooms, walk in shower, toilet and a bathroom/toilet ensuite. The aircon was fine and had it in both rooms. The balcony overlooked the pool and the view was amazing.

All the staff are friendly and couldn't do any more for us during our holiday however the reception staff did try and short change us on our first day when we changed some money up. Luckily enough we had read about this on here and checked before we left the reception. 

We never had any trouble with getting sunbeds in the same place everyday, even towards the end of our holiday when we were getting 6 together for friends we had met. The hotel swimming pool is great, it is warm with a shallow part for kids and a deeper end where they play water polo. We also found there is a baby pool separate for children next to a little fish pond and a children's park (slide & swings).
 
The hotel has 3 bars and a club. The pool bar serves food from 12:30 till about 2 which included  burgers, chips, pizza, omlette, salad everyday and then  fish, chicken, fish fingers were other things served while we were there. They also serve the best fresh cooked bread I have ever had :) At 4pm they then served cheese & ham paninis, pancakes and waffles. We only found this out towards the end of our holiday. There is also a bar inside, downstairs which is open from 9am till 11pm that serves cocktails such as; love on the beach, pina colada and strawberry daqauris and plenty of other drinks. There is another bar off the reception open till midnight again lots of drinks hot,cold and cocktails. No need to buy bottled water at this hotel, it is included in with the all inclusive. 

There are two restaurants, one buffet and a mexican al a cart. The buffet is open 3 times a day, breakfast is hot or cold and included cereal, freshly made pancakes, cheeses, hams, breads, yogurts, hot dog sausages, eggs, freshly made fried eggs/ omlettes, fruit and jams. The lunch is about 10 different things with salad, ice cream and lots of different desserts. we ate lunch at the pool bar most days because the fresh bread was so good. Evening dinner in the buffet was ok again about 10 different hot things with fresh cooked pizza, chips everyday and 2 different flavour ice creams, fruit mousses and deserts
Some days they also cooked pancakes.

We would definatly recommend the Mexican. It was the best meal the whole holiday. You get one visit per stay and we thought it was amazing. It's a 5 courses set menu. 

Staff in the hotel are truly amazing,they work so hard. Everytime you pass a member of staff they say hello, the maids are cleaning all day long the waiters don't stop walking around taking orders at the pool and before you finish your drink they are back with another.  By the pool, Saber was our waiter,  he was great and worked so hard.  The waiters in the evening again are brilliant once they they know what you drink they will be back time and time again with your drinks :)We decided to tip when We were getting a good service and it was great however other people weren't tipping but it dIdnt look like they were being treated any different which was also good. 

The entertainment staff are so hard working,  they start at 10 am and finish about 11:30pm. They are so friendly and always trying to get everyone involved. There program included lots of different things from football to darts,volley ball,mini golf,Zumba, water exercises,  stretches, and then at 8:30pm they start the mini disco which the children absolutely loved. The evening entertainment after that is bingo, Caberet or games. The Cabaret wasn't to my taste but you can see how much the team are trying and look like they are having so much fun. On a sunday they also have karaoke.

The hotel has a private section on the beach which is about a 5/10 minute walk from the hotel.  We were on holiday with our 19 month old so we only went here once because it was too hot. There is also a bar and free sun beds here and the entertainment staff come here to play beach volleyball. 

The hotel has a spa which we never used but the prices seemed about average and the staff were friendly. 

To top our holiday off we met some friendly people that we hope to keep in contact with and would defiantly like to go back to this hotel and will be recommending it to friends & family. If you have any questions please feel free to message me.

most things have allready been covered here but ill put my 2 pence worth in......

my wife and I spent our honeymoon here, overall we had an excellent time. Staff from the cleaner, the bar staff and the resterant staff were all fantastic, with a couple of small tips we were so looked after and treat like royalty. brilliant room with huge bed and balcony.

first week was so chilled around the pool, we had the bit at the side next to the bbq. second week lots of people turned up and were having a mad time which spoilt it a bit but they were having a good time anyways and they were nice people when you spoke to them on the night time.

leaving the hotel had my blood boiling on numerous occassions with people hassleing me and trying to rip us off. the fixed price shops are the ones to buy from as they are much cheaper than the haggling ones.

went on 3 trips.......
1. quad bikes, booked in the hotel through momo. great time had blazing through the mountains, just watch out, the bikes are in a really bad state of repair and they take you on the main road on the way back!!!! was really good though watch out for the extras you have to pay for when you are there!

2. Carthatge and tunis, Carthage was an amazing place but Tunis medina was an experience, i actually got asked to leave a shop because the price i was haggling was too low! very chlostrophobic and packed. a great day out but very tiring. see the real tunisia, great

3. El djem and kirowan, Kirowans great mosque was great but the smaller one was pathetic, just hassled even while you were in there, rubbish. stopped at a local medina, more hassle. El Djem was great, the colloseum was awesome but we only had 30mins ther and i could have spent 3 hours there wandering around. Mosiac museums are rubbish after 10 mins.

the food was great allways something different to try, and there is the dine around, so you can eat for free in 4 other hotels per week!

we just loved the chich Khan and were gutted that we had to come home, shame about the hassle in the streets because the marina and the medina which are within 5mins walking distance are great, tip......walking about in the afternoon when there aint many people about will get you hassled no end, go out at night when there are plenty of people about. we allways felt safe in yasmine.

well,where do i start...if you want a quiet relaxing holiday,dont go!!otherwise,do!!the entertainment team work extremely hard from 10am to 11 30 am,and do their best to ensure that everyone has a great time,from joe doin water aerobics to tito doin water polo!chou chou and mike(who does a great michael jackson dance to billie-jean!)are great,and often sat with us to have a chat and mike sure were were all ok!!there was a small problem with one of our rooms with the shower and aircon,but it was fixed immediately,the reception staff are great and very polite,lifeguards found us 5 loungers and matresses when we needed them,and the bar staff were brill,especially safwen,who kept us well supplied with drinks!!!the food gets a little repetitive but we would recommend the mexican dine around,the best chilli ever!not so keen on the oriental in the other hotel though.theres a fab fixed price shop across the road with everything you need,and very cheap souveniers.we went on the pirate ship trip which was great,and you get a chance to dive off the top deck-if you dare!!we met some great people from all over the country who also helped make it a great holiday,you know who you are if you read this!all in all a great time was had by all,thank you chick khan,and keep up the good work!!!!!!
