We had a great time at this hotel. Staff very friendly & work very hard. Recommend the Sportbar " Shakespeares" & the quad biking which you book through the hotel. Met a lovely couple from Manchester & had a ball. Staff around the pool where helpful & friendly. Safia "pool entertainer" was a good sport, we persuaded him to take an aqua aerobics class. The pool was freezing but once we got in & started doing the class it was great fun. Thanks Safia, not sure if this is how you spell your name. Would return to this hotel.

Room Tip: Room 123 was a good sea view room.

Me and my partner have just returned from a week here and had a brilliant time, staff were nice friendly and couldn't do enough for you, the room was nice clean and spacious did have a bit of a problem with the shower going hot and cold. We found wifi worked better in the mornings. The food was lovely especially the Tunisian restaurant, the beach was quite dirty and there was a crazy camel man however we found a beautiful beach down near the medina. The weather was very much like a British summer. We loved the bar man saf in the pub and saif a member of the animations team both made an extra effort to make conversation, and are genuinely really nice people. We are planning to visiting again in September and can't wait :-)

Just returned from our honeymoon at this hotel and had a great stay.
Staff were all lovely and most could not do enough for you. The Tunisian wine was very nice.loved lunches in the BBQ restaurant tried international and Tunisian a la carte. Again both were excellent. Breakfasts amazing catered for everyone's taste. Tunisia very poor and full of rubbish, but they are trying there best. Went on a camel trek in the mountains would recommend this. Was 20 dinars per person for an hour and a half, was worth it for some nice views, camels looked well looked after and the guides were great. Plenty sunbeds and beautiful pool area. Only miserable staff were on the exchange, they never seemed to smile like the others. Had a great stay although if hotel was not as good as it was may have been a different story as Tunisia needs a lot of TLC. Went on one Nordic walk abs thoroughly enjoyed this. Enjoyed the odd hugely bubbly in the moorish cafe. Would definate ly return for a winter break.

Just returned from a week at the Aziza. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff can't do enough for you. Nice, clean and spacious room. We managed to have wi fi connection all week. Maybe it helped to put the receiver up high above the TV. The food was excellent all week . There is an amazing amount to choose from. The vegetables, in particular, are imaginatively cooked and attractively presented. Breakfast caters for anyone's taste. You can even order a pizza in the middle of the afternoon if you miss lunch. (you can also have one if you did have lunch!) The weather was mixed with some sunshine. We walked out of the hotel every day and were not bothered or harrassed. We did the discovery walk with Ghazi who does the Nordic Walk activity. We went on his walk to the presidential residence and that was very informative. You can join in with these walks every day. My only criticism is of the beach which was strewn with rubbish and very narrow, especially when the tide was in, making walking along it difficult.

After reading reviews were a little cautious and did not expect much. Thomas cook had sold as 5 star however Sentido website and sign on door do give an honest 4 stars. The hotel is almost the last hotel from the airport, and perhaps would have been better further south along the coast - though was worth it to be adult only.
The room was clean, large and comfortable. As we're all areas of the hotel. Staff were friendly and welcoming, a few dinars do make a difference but not significant or felt obliged to tip. Nice also to be welcomed personally by hotels concierge.
We mostly ate in main restaurant (breakfast and dinner) and BBQ restaurant for lunch all were buffet and changed menu selection everyday. We did stear clear of the English food as the local cuisine was great! Due to low season we had option to eat in a la carte as many times as we want - though we only made it the once was also very good.
Wifi is available everywhere however a very slow connection I understand why some people were frustrated but computer was available if required.
Due to weather only went in the indoor pool which was excellent! We did manage to sit out by main pool one day which was lovely.
Only saw 3 nights entertainment at the hotel - low key as described, keyboard music on the first night, some Tunisian folk dancing, and a belly dancer, pleasant to sit and talk and non offensive. Comments regarding the snake man from other guests - glad we missed it!
Would recommend Nordic walking, nice gentle pace and animation team are very informative, interesting and honest about political situation etc.
Excursions well worth doing as really helps you to get a feel for the real Tunisia, though do not expect "Gran Canaria" - the country has suffered from the economic downturn and the revolution. tunisia does not have a health and safety policy or the waste control of other countries - yet everyone we met was friendly and greatful to tourists. Medinas and historical sites are well maintained though. Haggling is hard work but mostly done in good fun.
Overall we had a wonderful time and really glad we decided to go and chose the Aziza. Because we did so much might not be back immediately but by no means would rule it out

I stayed at Aziza 17th – 24th Feb 2013.

Weather was ok, not great – make the most of the indoor pool & limited gym.

Don’t stay indoors but see the sites....Roman Ruins are great, especially off peak – no strangers in your pictures.

Book excisions at car rental places...a lot cheaper than the hotel (there are few in the vicinity).

Beach is limited, although sandy – there is rubbish, be careful not to cut yourself. But great for photography.....there are some awesome sunrises @ 6/7am -

Rooms, decent & clean....tip the maid – a Dinar or 2 doesn’t go amiss. Showers intermitant....

Internet....on & off all the time – go to 3rd floor to get decent reception.

Food....well, it is good. Be different, try something new...

There are complaints of Varity....but on my stay everyday was something nice. I actually loved the spinach they made...

Book the restaurants....managed very well and again good food. There is one great manager I call ‘the Godfather’ – any tips left go to the staff...

Breakfast, yes it is samey – but the omelette chief (Mamoud) if such a lovely guy....he used to send freshly squeezed juice to our table almost every day -

The local red wine is actually good (perhaps I just used to it)

The All inclusive is erm, a bit strange you have to order your drinks at a table. Basically, you don’t get drunk so quick....like in Mexico all inclusive. But I actually like this...you don’t take advantage.

Staff, well...they are great. Remember what they are doing and tip accordingly. And yes, Mohammed the waiter is a great guy!

Entertainment, limited – but the snake charmer putting a snake down my trousers was different!

Spa, not really focused on men...but muddy Hamman was lovely....I almost fainted! the misses loved it...

I have no complaints (except for the pillows!)about the Aziza – but it is not 5 star more 3.5.

Travelled with my husband, our first time to tunisia. As the weather was not so good we spent a good deal of our stay indoors, either in the main lounge or our room. The main reception/lounge area was comfortable enough, there were tv screens with nothing but sport on them! Ok we don't go on holiday to watch tv but bearing in mind the weather & having done various trips, it was pretty limiting sat in the lounge, & the piped music which was the alternative was not much better. The quality of the waiter service varied depending on the time of day, the afternoon service being poor, the evening service very good. Yes tipping is part of the culture, & we did tip handsomely mostly. Meals were ok, but no coffee available after the evening meal in any of the restaurants! If coffee was wanted its a case of go sit in the bar & wait to be served! So come on aziza switch the coffee machines on post dinner & let paying guests help them selves. Room was comfortable & very well serviced every day ( tip... At the start of your stay) nothing to much trouble for the guys who do the rooms. Alas was too cold to go in the pool we did get to sit out on a couple of occasions, the pool guy is fab, so helpful, pleasant & hardworking, def deserves tips. Also Saif who organises activities, a great guy, go on the Nordic walk on a morning with Saif he is knowledgeable & informative we really enjoyed these Walks & recommend them, takes approx an hour & a half. Cant say the staff at the exchange were particularly cheerful in fact appeared grumpy each time we changed money.Wi fi was just about non existent & really is luck if connection is available, various entertainment on an evening, dancers etc and a guy playing an electric keyboard every evening in the main lounge area. Was pleased that the hotel was largely non smoking apart from the lower ground floor pub which we didn't go in much anyway. All in all a reasonable stay with some lovely staff.
