Arrival
Luggage was taken away, then brought to the room later. We were greeted by the receptionist who put the AI wristband on (10am) Jokingly I said "where's the bar?" she immediately pointed the way, But, it was even too early for me, bless her. Next thing i knew there was a drink on the table for my daughter and I, non-alcoholic (lol) and hot towel, talk about service!

Room (253)
Sea view well worth the extra money.
Everything you need, e.g, Fridge, LCD TV, Safe, separate toilet and bathroom.
N.B Only two English TV channels.

Restaurants
Each one great standards and service, food could be a bit of a hit and miss affair as food was often unlabelled, that did'n't bother us too much as we can eat almost anything, but to some, this could be a problem.

Bar
I enjoy a drink especially Bacardi and coke, they don't have any international brands, I tried the local rum, didn't know whether it was gnat's or cats, trust me awful unless you have a cast iron gut.
If you smoke visit the pub on the lower floor.

Summary
If you leave the hotel complex, be prepared to do battle with the natives. We took a taxi to Hammermet 3 kilometres away, cost 5 Dinar there, back 3 Dinar.
On exiting the taxi we were mobbed, literally, by the locals. Everyone said they were working at the hotel we were staying at. I told them I wondered why there were no staff on that day lol. This really spoilt our stay in Tunisia. I only spent about 25 Dinar as we couldn't wait to flag a taxi down to get back to the complex.
Note to whom it may concern, If they tried to curb this practice I would probably have spent quadruple this amount.
My advice is to go on the excursions provided by your rep, ours was Thomas Cook (big up to Phil our rep).

Room Tip: Even without a sea view, from what we could gather from fellow travellers, they were all up-to a ver...

Okay! So me and my fiancee went here last week, with mixed thoughts of the country, because we were told it was dreadful and a stupid country to go to! Well we arrived in Tunisia, Efindha Airport and was greeted by porters offering to take our luggage to our coach, what we didn't know is they were after money for taking the bags for the 2 second walk to the coach! So if you are going here make sure you say no to the porters! Waste of time. So we arrived at the hotel and was amazed with it! it looks amazing inside and out! all the staff are friendly! Some staff can speak English very well and some not so good, but they always try to help. After a few days you start to get a bit bored as there's not much to do apart from swim or drink! but every Friday there is a huge market where they sell all sorts of fakes and nice items, key thing is to barter with them! don't let them rip you off, we got wallets, purses, watches and bags for around 10 - 50 Dinas! this equals about £5 to £25, if they don't like your offer walk out the shop and they will call you back! The Tunisians are very friendly people, they love the English so don't be worried about going into the town! and Don't be worried about saying no! and having a little bantering game with them!

The hotel is very clean, very nice and is a great little getaway. As I said before the staff are very nice and are always trying to help, so I recommend this hotel as it is in a perfect place! a short taxi ride to the centre of Hammamet where the locals will have a nice friendly chat with you. but one thing to look out for is some sly people will pretend to work at your hotel to get you to follow them to their shop, just tell them to f**k off! I just wish I had this much information before I went so I would of been a lot calmer about the trip rather than worry about nothing! Amazing holiday

Room Tip: Try to get a third floor room and not near the 'Disco' the bass keeps you up all hours of th...

Just returned from a weeks holiday in this lovely hotel. We were delighted with the hotel as we has booked this as a cheapie holiday just to get away for a week. The hotel is modern, clean and very spacious. Staff are so friendly and accommodating that you feel part of the hotel as soon as you arrive. Rooms are modern and exceptionally spacious. Food is good and the wine is plentiful with a bottle each at lunch and dinner, local spirits and beer also available. Proper coke and fanta as mixers also helps. We ate at the International restuarant on four evenings as we enjoyed the atmosphere and the silver service waiting. Beach is fabulous and only a few steps away from the hotel. Beds and unbrellas are set out for you and cleaned. Will definitely be returning to this relaxing location.

Room Tip: Sea view rooms have sun in morning but other rooms have sun in the evening.

Have just returned after a great week at the Aziza Hotel, staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was perfect with the beach right on hand, room was spacious with a sea view. We asked for a quiet room and a sea view although we were booked for a terrace, we got the upgrade for free which was a great start to our holiday. The food was ok, a bit bland for my taste but there was always a good variety, the pastries, custard tart and deserts were fab, have probalby gained far too much weighed. The wine was excellent both red and white and by the bottle each evening with your meal. We had 2 nights at the international restaurant, first night the main course wans't great but the rest of the meal was fine, second night the meal was excellent. This is the fist time we have ever gone AA and this hotel was a great way to start. The down side for us was when we went into Hammamet and Yasmine Hammamet, the minute you step out of your taxi you are pounced apon by the locals trying to con you. We were lucky as my husband is an Arabic speaker and they soon left us alone, but just be firm with them and what every you do , don't be temped to go into their shop as you will definetely leave with a purchase. We would certainly go back to the Aziza but maybe later on in the year as we only had 3 good days of sun in April.

Room Tip: Best to book a sea view and if you don't mind walking to the end of the corridor book room 265...

My wife and my self have just returned from a week at the Aziza. The hotel was a dream to stay at, the room that we were allocated was a pool view it was very nice. The staff was very helpfull. The resort outside the hotel was a bit limited but just a short taxi ride into the main resort of Hammamet. The food in the hotel was lovely but you need to try new things to get the right experience from the food. There was always some think for everyone. The entertainment team was very good if you were on holiday to wear off all that food. Not a lot of entertainment at night in the hotel but you could go the bar and make you own entertainment.
To finish of this review this was my first visit to Tunisia i must say it was a pleasant weeks holiday, not forgetting the bus ride to and from are resort the Thomas cook rep was very good with the information giving.

Room Tip: Ask for a pool & sea view second floor

Just returned from a week at the Aziza. The weather was very good overall, the food and drink was amazing with a wide range of good quality food always available. We also enjoyed the programme of activities - water aerobics, Nordic walking, table tennis, French Bowls (on the beach) crazy golf and many others. The activities team were really good and taught us about Tunisia and the local customs, what Muslims are really like and about recent changes in the country. We learnt so much from them and it added a lot to the week. The all inclusive price was good value too. We did get quite a few bites and stings at the start of the week but we got none at the beach on our last three days. We were not alone in this as unseasonal creatures were around.

Room Tip: Pay extra for a view of the sea!
