Me and my wife travelled to this nice hotel for 10 days begining of June. We reached around 1 AM and were promptly checked in. Though had to wait for the welcome cocktail for good 15 - 20 min. despite the reception guy calling for it as soon as we reached there. No big deal but we wanted to check in asap to unpack and hit the pool.
Room was perfect. We upgraded with limited sea view room and I have to say that despite being limited, we had whole sea in front of our balcony. Its a room on 3rd floor and had ample space in room and it was well designed. Only thing is you have two single beds joined together rather then a one big bed. That might be tunisian thing.
Lobby and other hotel areas are nice. Beach was fantastic and sea was gentle. There are plenty of water activities and we did para sailing which was good value for money. Much cheaper then the Caribbean resorts.
Drinks were generally ok though I didn't like cocktails and they all tasted strong spirit. I settled to eaither bear or whiskey. Please note some alcohal brands are not included in all inclusive.
My main issue with resort was food. Though there is a plenty of choice but being a 5 star , I would not want to eat in same buffet every day for both my main meals. The fresh meat grill counter had pretty much same choices every day. Pasta was good but how much you can have. All in all, food was a bit of let down for us but that's every one's own preferences. The ala carte restaurants have set menus and you can not change it which again seems a bit odd to me. May be hotel management should think about having ala carte open all week and have different cuisine and add some spice like mexican, italian , arabic etc.
Hotel staff and manager works hard and makes your holiday even better. Its catered mainly for retired french couples who are looking for some time in sun and there was not much of young crowd. Night entertainment is next to none. One night in 10 days we had 15 min of belly dancing but other than that it was just music out of a stereo. Tom, some days sings live but management should think of having some good , thought out evening entertainment.
I would not go back to same resort but definitely to Tunisia.
