“Cheap, but very cheerful”

To tell you the truth, perhaps I expected too much, I paid £400 for a week for 2 allinclusive, not a bad price for a bit of winter sun, as we drove in through the shut gates, that we're shut again after we got through, I thought ok, security is good, not a bad thing, it was 23.00 so couldn't really see nothing, Xmas trees and decorations are what greeted us in reception, that was nice, told to go and get food that had been kept warm for us, before they checked us in, room was dated, but quite large, and clean, bathroom could have been better, a lovely sea view, to our surprise when we open our curtaines in the morning, there was entertainment every night, and the staff were great, the bar stayed open till midnight, don't know wether that's the case in summer, I couldn't even drink their brandy, vodka, it tasted like paint stripper, thank god we had a bottle of each, duty free, the food was not the poorest we have ate, but it wasn't the greatest either..... More of the same, 3 times aday, the hotels beach is well sexy, and we did go to find the shops once, but we got pounced on and hounded by every shop keeper there was, 6 shops, 30 sales people.... Lol, it's situated in the old part of town, and we found it to be more like a prison camp, where all the other hotels around it seemed to be falling down and empty.... The pool with the slides.... Well what can I say... Green sludge,,,,, I think this was the worst birthday present to my husband I have ever got him.... We won't be going back !!!!!

On arriving at the hotel we were given our bands and taken straight to our rooms, goodness me that man was fast with our cases. he ran up 2 flights of stairs. Our room was average as was the bathroom. nothing special but we wernt expecting it to be. It was clean and tidy. Our only problem with this hotel was the cleaning staff rooting though our personal belongings...having read other reviews i didnt take anything i wasnt prepared to lose, so only minus a couple of necklaces although i could see where she had been rifeling through our things and not even bothering to put them back. The girl down the corridor lost 2 expensive tops..needless to say the cleaner didnt get a tip.
The annimation team in this hotel are fantastic especialy with the kids, what a wonderful job they do.
Food was fine, no complaints of flies and it was all hot. Alot of tunisian dishes so that suited us fine we loved them. Waiters were also good in the resturant but a couple of them can be a little overbearing with the ladies so look out for that.
this hotel is really in the middle of nowhere so you will need taxis but they were always parked outside and reasonably priced.
We had a massage while we were here and it was lovely and good value for money. there are some shops on the complex that seemed reasonable and a large fixed price shop just opposite the hotel gates.
We paid very little for an all inclusive holiday here but unless it was that good a deal again i woildnt go back xx

My husband and me went there 29 Dec for a break and a new year bit of spoiling the hotel is immaculate and all staff are excellent and really friendly the hotel food was a bit limited but I assume that this was purely the time of year as the hotel was pretty quiet but the food was lovely a few people were complaining about the food but you always get that in my view anybody complaining are the ones who can't cook themselves or have never had a decent meal put down to them I am a qualified chef so I do know nice foods and this is what you get here the staff are very friendly and helpful there was a gala dinner with entertainment which was a lovely night with entertainment the only thing about Tunisia is the shops with them trying to get you to buy things just like Turkey multiplied by 10 I don't like it at all we got friendly with 2 other couples and we are all going back together again for this year's New year

Room Tip: The Tunisian love whiskey take a bottle from duty free as a tip for the barman or room maid

Stayed here over Xmas & new year & loved it, rooms lovely & clean & plenty of room for a cot. Staff make u feel very welcome & we genuinely didn't want to come home, kid's club especially widah was amazing with the kids the animation team we fab & worked hard to keep u entertained day & night. Before we went we read the reviews but went with an open mind & I'm glad we did the end of the day a holiday is what u make it & if u want to moan about everything then stay at home or stay at 4/5 star hotel instead!!! Definitely be going back very soon

After reading the reviews people had put about this place made me very conscious about what to suspect! but after getting there and being welcomed we a happy manager and smile i was relieved! the staff there were all friendly and the animation team made the holiday perfect! we only went for a week shame wish we went longer! the food was repetitive but.... it was always cooked perfectly and some food was cooked in front of us! the chef in the black uniform helped us pick the best food in the restaurant and it made us feel more welcome by him doing this. it was nice there was 3 Tunisian men that arrived at guests at the hotel are very welcoming too and made us all laugh, and also found us the best drink ever there... strawberry juice with vodka! the only problem with this hotel is the people on the beach very in your face to buy things and even when you say no they carry on... and the boys around are very mischievous and also want something from you... sex really. they try and take you away from the hotel as they are banned from there and taken away by security numerous of times. please be careful! i have heard that they worked at this hotel and stole from people... but seriously guys over all best holiday ever!

Room Tip: try and get a ground floor room unless you like to drag your suitcase up 3 flights of stairs if not...
