Royal Azur Thalasso Golf
Ranked #75 of 119 Hotels in Hammamet

We have just spent a 10 day holiday at this hotel,The room was great with views over the garden
and sea.it was serviced every day clean towels and bed linen. Our stay was half board and the meals were most enjoyable, although they could have been a little hotter. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was quiet not a lot of entertainment but we chose this time of the season to go for that reason. There are plenty of nightclubs within Hammamet if thats what you want.just a short taxi ride.or you could walk along the beach takes about 30 mins.
This was truely a holiday with lots of sunshine and time to relax in peaceful surroundings. magic.

Room Tip: Higher floor for best views.

If you are working hard during the year and don't feel good... you want to see the beautiful see, to lie on the beach and to make your body to feel better - you need go to Royal Azur. Perfect place! kind staff! You can always find the good and different meal in the restaurant, there is the choice always. The Thalasso is also perfect! And if you need reload your mind - the only one idea to do it - to go to thalasso and take the good program for body and for face! The feelings after the holiday are unforgettable!

Returened from Royal Azur on Monday (was on 24th of September). Everything I can say: the staff is very polite, tries to help you if something wrong. First we had to agree on reception to have room with a see view but on this all our inconveniences stopped!
The room was always clean and food tasty and variety. Fish and fruits are always available.
The Talassa complex is perfect! I never thought that such procedures could give so lovely emotions. The skin is gentle after it.
I recommend to everyone to stay in this hotel to rest!

Room Tip: Room on the 5th floor

We have just returned from a three week stay at the Royal Azur. It was really good to see old friends again. We had a top floor pool view ,with twin beds ,plenty of space. Beds are a little on the hard side but very comfortable, and fresh clean sheets ,I have to say it would be nice to have a
Duvet, but it is north Africa ,and gr eat things are about to happen at the Royal. Many people have made comments like the orange juice did not taste nice ,I have to say our juice every morning was fresh squeezed ,other people have said there is no choice for the main course in our time there we had three types of fish ,one of which was fresh sword fish which was filleted and cooked whilst we waited ,sweets every night two types of ice cream, and at least five cakes and creme caramel,
There has been comments regarding Tunisian families,I suppose if they had been British then would have been ok,you have to remember that this is an international hotel, and does not cater for
Just British people, people have said they were badly behaved, take a look around you when you return home . It will then make you see how we act on our own cities, will you then think the same as you did at the Royal? Comments have been made regarding the pool area , the pool was cleaned every day, with checks being made on the water ,I suggest. If you want to see the pool being maintained that you get out of bed early, after all this cannot be done when the pool is full of guest's. I can recommend that you go to the Niagra Resaurant for lunch ,and ask for The Ratatouille it's FANTASTIC ! . I did notice in one review that pictures had been taken of piles of rubbish, this was on the building site which will become the new Bell Azur ,so in actual fact this is a false representation of the Royal, and for safety the person should not have been there in the first place. I would like to thank all the staff for your kind and attentive service ,and can assure you that we will retun again in September 2013

Room Tip: Top floor 2504/2505

Just back from this hotel, first time to hamamet, we stayed on the third floor with pool view and sea view, very clean rooms maids worked hard also got a fridge in room which was a bonus along with bathrobes to use;-) never had locals coming to use pool that's probably in busiest times July/August, there wasnt a problem getting sunbeds either. Breakfast was ok omelette, cereals, toast, salads, eggs, fruit, cakes etc, personally wasn't fussed about the dinner but always managed to find something to eat, there is a few shops on the front of the hotel but not much else unless you walk into the centre(medina, port, cafes,) we found yasmine hamamet to be nice ;-)

Favourable on arrival.........;welcome cocktail and basket of fruit in room. Downhill from then on. No soap in bathroom phone that did not work and tired looking furnishings. Plus points 2 bathrobes. Evening meal as on all our evenings there was poor. low quality meat lukewarm and poor selection. Very poor selection of desserts a few cakes and ice cream although fruit was available. Breakfast orangejuice tasted of chemicals and uninspired choice although if you fancied it you could have the reheated leftovers from night before !!!!!!! Gloomy dining room We were not the only guests who had this problem room.not cleaned for 2 days despite constant assurances it would be in fifteen minutes. Attractive swimming pool but if rooms not cleaned it makes me wonder about pool hygiene. Never saw any pool maintainence being done. THIS IS NOT A 5 STAR HOTEL;.Maybe a low grade 3star but there are many 3star hotels in Tunisia with higher standards. Unsmiling disnterested staff Hotel needs a new management team if it is not to go out of business as it deserves to do with present standards. If you think I am being harsh read my other reviews and you will see it is a balanced view
