“Amazing!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 17, 2014 via mobile

Went for a week at the start of April, 1st time iv been to Tunisia. Can not fault the hotel atall. It was amazing, from the rooms to food and service was outstanding!
Only thing could be Improved was the entertainment, but we went before the season started. That being said the entertainment staff were great at trying to drum up people for activities. The private beach was fab, with drinks service & attentive staff who got sun beds and chased off the sellers when they hasseled to much.
We had a delux sea view room and it was lovely, great size, comfy beds well stocked with slippers etc :-)
Going back next year for another girls relaxing week away, thinking of taking the kids but not sure how much they would enjoy it - although there's a park, camel/horse rides etc I think it's best to just chill in luxery, with free massages & champagne!!

went from 26th march to 9th april. stopped in two deluxe rooms with sea view. rooms 1 kingsize bed. room 2 two 3/4 beds. rooms were of high standard and cleaned daily. staff also opened the connecting door for our convience. both rooms stated sea view. this was only partial because of view obstructive by trees in my view. we found the meals to be of high standard and presented well, although food was tepid at times and I also missed a good beef steak as they seemed to use chicken mostly and fish the restaurant servery I thought got a bit crowded at times and people had to que about 15/deep so if you got a item from the chef station ie freshly cooked you had to que for veg, which resulted in the item going cold!!! another thing i could not understand was why the beach restuarant was not used at night as the setting was stunning. but this may be because of the time of year and hotel numbers. The drink selection was good but I whish they would have provided milk shakes etc and a more varied selection of juices. The animation team worked well and the live band on one night was the best ive seen in a long time and the animation team stated they would like to have them every week but they are booked elsewhere!! The indoor pool area and sun areas could do with a bit of attention as they appear neglected slightly, I opened a door and it nearly fell of its hinges. I informed a manager of this who agreed and stated they are hopeful that it gets some attention in the future once the hotel next door has been finished and some money becomes available. visited the local area and enjoyed the local customs. The main thing I found about this hotel was the service from the staff was excellent.

Just comeback from staying at the Oranges Beach Resort for one week at this amazing hotel, on arrival you are greeted with a glass of fresh orange juice and chocolate before you sign in.
After signing in, a porter will take your luggage to your room which was spotless and decent size bathroom with walk in shower, There is a TV and fridge in the room also a kettle with tea and coffee and air-con if required.
In the evening the Dinner is served in the main Dining room, where we met Eddey our waiter who look after us for the rest the week, making sure we had table ready for us each evening and looking after us with drinks, amazing service.
Food is excellent with a good choice to pick from, with music most evenings while you eat.
From 10.30am onwards there is another area by the beach where you can eat and drink to your hearts content and watch the camel on the beach close by.If the weather turns nasty they have indoor heated swimming pool, plus you can have a free massage or have your feet cleaned by small fishes in a tank all free, fantastic!! There is a small library on site if you want to read a book (all free) or magazine to help you sunburn.
If you want a nice relaxing holiday give this hotel a try they are so friendly. I recommend it.

Room Tip: I cannot fault this Hotel, amazing

We have just returned from a week at this amazing hotel, we were there from 30th March until 6th April. We travelled as a group, 8 of us, age range from 12-48. Six of us had basic rooms, a garden view with complimentary toiletries, bath robes and slippers, also tea and coffee, one couple had upgraded to the sea view rooms which were spectacular.
I cannot fault a single thing about this place, the staff cannot do enough to help you and are always smiling. the food was first class and loads of choice to suit any taste.
The drinks were flowing all the time, we did not have to move and the waiter was over offering their services.
The entertainment team tried to involve everyone and tried to get to know everyone, they were lovely people and certainly seem like they enjoy their jobs, special mention to Sammy, Mido and Brian, who was hilarious.
The staff in all parts of the hotel could not do enough to help, always with a smile, we tried everything at the hotel including the massage, fish pedicure and steam room (all free).
We are well travelled people and can't wait for a chance to return here, we loved it!!!

Room Tip: All of the rooms we had were great, however if you can afford to pay a bit extra, upgrade to the sea...

Enjoyed a fabulous week from the 26th March - 2nd April with my Husband and Daughter. As soon as you arrive you are greeted with a lovely glass of freshly squeezed Orange and lovely chocolates. The staff are very friendly and the porters deliver the suitcases to your room. Our room was a superior Sea view and the view to the sea was amazing. The hotel room was spotless and was cleaned daily.
The restaurants were really good and the staff go out of their way to look after you. Our daughter was spoiled by all the staff and especially at Breakfast and dinner where our table was ready for us with baby chair and our daughters fav cereal and yogurt. The staff certainly go the extra mile. The food was amazing and the choice was fab. Especially the pancakes with chocolate and amazing pastries etc
There were always plenty of fresh strawberries and oranges etc.
The beach restaurant was amazing with a hugh choice of dishes and the biggest tuna fish I have ever seen!!! In addition to the restaurant there was fresh pizza and stir fry which was yum yum
The pool also had a snack bar doing amazing burgers, panini and fajitas etc. The lovely staff member who cooked here was hilarious and always made everyone laugh with his patter. The dinner was served at the main buffet restaurant and once again the food was plentiful.... You will never go hungry!! Again our waiter had our table ready with wine and our daughter was always entertained by the staff. In the evening there was live music in the restaurant which was fab. Just incase you get hungry the bar that serves you 24hrs also had a wee buffet.
The place exceeded our expectations and this is mainly down to the amazing staff that work here .
A hugh thank you to the kids club girls who looked after our little princess and entertained her at the mini disco .... We're still dancing to the CD now were home. All the animation team are brilliant and made you feel so welcome and everyone seemed to love their job as much as the guests. I would recommend this resort to everyone and hopefully we will get back in the near future. Well done ⭐️

This hotel is beautifully set in lovely well-managed gardens; smooth wide paths make it easy to get around. You need to be able to use some stairs to access pools and the main building. The staff work tirelessly to keep everywhere clean and attractive. Rooms and public areas have lots of marble, polished wood, gorgeous ceilings and light fittings. Loads of places to sit and chat, read, or watch the world go by with a drink or a snack, inside or out, in sunshine or shade, lots of choice, including under lemon and orange trees. The loos are lovely; lots of loo roll and soap, constantly checked and cleaned. The room was beautiful and spotless with a very large comfy bed, refreshed every day by lovely staff. We had a hair dryer and a fridge and a new kettle. When we had a problem with our balcony door and they sent someone straight out to fix it.

Private safety deposit boxes are hired by the week they are very inexpensive and quite secure, in a little room by reception and operated by 2 keys one of which you keep on you, Security at the hotel is superb.

The staff who were all wonderful, so friendly and welcoming, all went that extra mile, they made our holiday perfect: A big thank you the animation team, restaurant staff, the waiters, kitchen staff, bar staff, reception, room staff, cleaners, gardeners, repair and maintenance staff, porters, stable team, pool man, pool café chef and pastry chef (who deserves a medal for perfect pastry!),

Tunisia is a male dominated culture but is very respectful of women, yes they look and they compliment but its generally very charming and a little quaint. I like the door being held, my chair being pulled out for me and an arm offered to take me in to dinner. Staff were always on the look out for anyone who need any help with anything.

Cats – the hotel grounds are a home for a number of very friendly feral cats. They do not force themselves on the unwilling, but if you can’t stand to be around cats, go somewhere else. The cats themselves are clean and very friendly and very good with children. they will always welcome that little bit you couldn’t finish or those treats your cat at home turns her nose up at. Some will happily spend an evening on your lap and tomorrow someone else’s. They appreciate a bit more food after a hard off-season when few people have eat outside.

People – a really good mix all ages, British and Irish, Germans, French and Tunisians. Couples, small single sex groups, families, grandparents with grandchildren. Always someone to have a chat with if you with but the constant change in guests means you don’t get stuck with people. Most staff have very good English, German and French but are quite happy to help you with your language skills, we even leaned a little Arabic.

We spent very little money, about £80 on tips between us during the week.. It is a normal and expected part of the culture – very little to us makes a big difference to their standard of living and is really appreciated. I would liked to have found a ways of leaving money for the staff beind the scenes, such as maintenance, grounds men, laundry staff and kitchen staff to show I valued their efforts, any ideas how to do this Les Orangers? It cost us £16 per person for a trip on the Pirate ship, which was awesome – booked it through the animation team. There was a meal and pop and transport included and it lasted about 3 hours – but the best thing again was the staff, Four young men dressed as pirates and party hosts had everyone on board young and old up and dancing, they had a display up it the rigging, an incredible fakir show on the deck, massive audience participation, photos opportunities and professional photos offered for sale, both with pirates and with a falcon perched on your arm. Horse riding for 2 hours was £24 per person and included all your gear. I have not ridden a horse since I was 11 and being short and fat, mounting without a step ladder was an experience that involved a group of strong fit young men, a ride along the beach and around the training ground with basic tuition was great. Remember to pack socks and take an apple from breakfast for your horse.

Pools – One small shallow one for children. Two proper sized, deep pools . One outside, one inside heated in the off-season. Just like a big glorious warm bath, an area at the end is fastened off for children only down side are steps to climb up to it. Water quality in all three very good and tested regularly. Fish pedi spa – lovely – so relaxing and soft smooth holiday feet. Complimentary massage very good but busy, book early, both male and female masseurs available. Good firm massage, found it a little short at approx 15 mins and would have welcomed relaxation time rather than deep massage straight to get up and go. Do use the Moorish café while you wait, very pretty try the Turkish coffee and the mint tea. Gym looked very nice – but never found the time with so much to do. The pools are looked after by an attended who maintains availability of bed by giving out sunlounger mats where and when required and removing them when not required. Don’t reserve its just not necessary and it greedy, his system and works.

Food available 24 hours a day in some part of the hotel, all of it good and freshly cooked in hygienic surrounds, with loads of choice. Personal high points omelettes and pancakes cooked to order. The really fresh eggs. Try the huge fried donut shaped things they taste like Yorkshire Pudding. Lots of crème caramel and vanilla slice type things, incredible ice creams and sorbets. Wonderful salads. Was surprised to see so much pork. Lots of mainstays but don’t be afraid to try things, discovered quail, roast tongue, quince jam, unsweetened rice pudding and custard for breakfast. Cucumber juice. The best freshly squeezed orange juice ever

Everything you could wish for and more. Local wines are lovely. Local beer is a European lager type – good for hot weather. Cockails – they don’t work to a particular menu so tell them what you like and they will comeback with something lovely. One of the rally good things about the county being mainly dry is the choice of non alcoholic drinks. Fantistic virgin cocktails, a huge array of juices. Cola is available but why bother. Do try the hot chocolate, very good on its own or with the brandy.

Suggestions for hotel. Put water in the fridges for new arrivals, either replenish when tea coffee is replenished or have a note on the fridge to tell people to pick up from bar/restaurant as required. A little box on reception with a picture of a cat and a red crescent to raise funds for spaying and neutering. A few more little shallow ramps

Room Tip: We were in number 8, in the middle this made getting around the site easier
