The restaurant was a complete joke. Considering 2 out of the 3 restaurants were closed, the staff could still not cope. It was like feeding time at the zoo. The guests would pile up their plates, waste food and leave the tables in such a mess. As soon as food was brought out, it was gone. We first had to find a plate, cutlery, cup etc, before we queued up for food. (Then look for a clean chair, that didn't have bird droppings on it).

The fact that a waiter had to dole out slices of cheese and ham at breakfast says it all.

I have stayed in numerous hotels in various countries and this has been the worst experience of my life.

If you have already booked this hotel, eat out! If this is 4* I would hate to see the rest.

Good value for money, as with many food is not brilliant but you wll not starve. Animation friendly, reception friendly, Beauty/massage overpriced but all hotels are the same, a good massage, but beware they try and talk you into buying creams and oils at hugely inflated prices. Rooms comfortable. Close to the main marina of Yasmine, which is very touristy. I'd say if you are going for the sunshine and can get a good deal go. If you are a bit fussy probably not. Hardest workers in the hotel are the Cleaners so please always tip them, they work hard for little money.

I lived in "Yasmine Beach Hotel" for four days with my family. Frankly speaking, the room itself with a view to the sea, entertainment and food was not bad and the thing that we all did not like is that the clothes of my children and the brand new, expensive mobile phone of my son has been stolen right from the room even though we left the room for the one hour. It was strange and frustrating since it happened right before we check out and we did not have the time to sort out or solve this stupid behavior of room service. Unfortunately even the hotel director could not help us to retrieve at least the mobile telephone.

me and my partner went to Tunisia for our honeymoon, as we got to the hotel it needed some uplifting to the outside of the building, but in side it was really nice. the staff was really friendly and we had excellent service.
the hotel was not full it could fit about 600 people and all week we were there was only about 110 people in the hotel which was good. there are 3 pools which are all clean and tidy.
the rooms are nice we had a sea view, and got cleaned every day.
Do not expect the food to be like what you get in Europe there was a lot of local dishes. we could not eat the food in the hotel after the first day as it was making us ill, an even though we where all inclusive we found it really cheap to eat out, you could eat out for about 20 Dinars each which is about £9 this includes 2 or 3 course meals and drinks as well.
the animation team was very good, they put on shows for the guests every night and made our holiday.

all inclusive drinks are very week and you need to drink twice as much to get drunk in the hotel.

remember not to change up all of your spending money all at once you can change your money up from the hotels or the banks but can only change your money back up at the airport.
another little tip which we found out is take a bottle of whisky like Jim bean out with you to haggle with you will be able to get what ever you want as its hard for them to get certain whisky's out there. we swapped it for about 5 things in one of the shops.

DO NOT LISTEN TO THE RUMOURS THAT ITS NOT SAFE TO GO TO TUNISIA STILL, the Yasmin resort, and the people are all very friendly and helpful. if you are looking for a very hot, cheap and enjoyable holiday then i would recommend it to you. we will be coming back to Yasmin in the future, but would probably not go all inclusive as things are so cheap out there.
