“best bar and staff + hotel”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 25, 2013

i stayed here in May 2013 for 2 weeks, bext holiday experience ever, although i came with the kids and there was not much entertainment for the youngsters but the extertianment staff tried their best to make it amazing for the kids.

the staff at the Bar were amazing, the bar area was amazing too, with selection of drinks, whennver i needed anything for the kids from warming the milk, to getting tea and drinks the bar staff were always so helpful and were always at your service to provide room service too.
Never did we get a problem from the stafff at the bar, always trying to helpful and always having a smile on their face... best bar ever and staff at the hotel

We stayed a week from the 15th of July 2013.

The rooms were okay, it had everything we needed, and the daily cleaning was good.

We stayed at the pool every day, it was so nice. There is a sunbed for everyone, music and the waiters are doing a good job attending to everyone. If you don´t like loud music this hotel is not for you. It is a mix of everything, but a lot of the same stuff during the whole week.
The animation team (Casper, Luca, and two others I forgot the name of) are doing a heck of a job creating a good atmosphere, they are so energetic, and always in a good mood. We didn´t participate in the water polo, aqua gym or any of that stuff, but they put on a great show for the once involved and the ones watching.

The buffet is ok, there is a lack of variation, and some of the meats are so tough, but there are some good dishes in between. We both live on the paleolitic diet, and we are used to having some difficulty finding food that we eat, but we didn´t have a problem here - which was a nice surprise. The fruit the offer were disappointing and only three kinds, which is a shame, because they have an awesome local selection.

We had a good time, and got what we paid for, no more no less.

stayed in this hotel 06 th june this year ,with a mixture of ages from 71 to 18 ,what can i say everyone was happy rooms where fine only thing was that we where on different floors and didnt really help
food was of good standard and waiters are very helpful,
we stayed all inclusive and drinks where fine bar a little small when there are crowds
animation team are just fantastic ,as with all Tunisians though they realize i have a special needs son and just include him
the shop on site is very reasonable and the owner is nice and friendly

Room Tip: we had a young child and stayed 3rd floor looking out on tennis courts was so quite and peaceful did...

This hotel should not be used as a family holiday hotel, in the lower season, as they are use it as a conference hotel. During our stay there was a 3/4 day conference of local business people, who stayed over with their family. It turned from a relaxing holiday to a mass of crowded people gathering for coffee in an area near the pool, and queuing for food in the restaurant, we couldn't get near the food at some points, the restaurant was not staffed for the capacity of people, which left paying holiday guests getting a very poor service. Also to add to this the service was generally very poor, running out of food, running out of cutlery, for example we asked for a spoon, which took half an hour, eventually we gave up asking for things. Although the food was not great, we ate toast in a morning, there were a number of times that they ran out of sliced bread, even though there was another hour to go for serving, we were told it's finished. We did go and see the manager, and he said he would try to make sure it did not happen again, however it did, and I had to ask again for bread, they brought a small amount out and then took it back into the kitchen. We found that we had to eat out to avoid the destruction and complete carnage, which was a cost when you have a family of 5. Also there many times when in the evening they would say red wine is finished, they seemed to only allow so much of a popular drink.

The most concerning point I want to make is that this holiday was a family holiday, my mother of age 76 came with us, when we got there we were given 2 rooms at the back over looking a roof, the next day they moved us to a much better room on the floor 2. One lift never worked from day one, however the 2nd lift broke down 3 days before the end of the holiday. My mother is dependant on a walking stick and has restricted mobility. We asked how long it would take for repair, but they said they were waiting for a part. This made the last 3 days a terrible experience, having to manage to get up and down to her room, 2 flights of stairs. How can this be acceptable? Why had they not repaired the other one, so there was a back up? We had to carry heavy cases down, getting assistance was far too hard work.

It may be better in the higher season, but his was a very disappointing holiday.

I Visited this hotel in July. The room was nice bright and felt new. The bathroom was large and clean, with a hairdryer. We had a room overlooking the animation stage which went on till approx 12am, which was ok for us. Drinks are served until midnight, then there is a disco where you have to pay for your drinks. The food was ok, we always found something to eat, although at times not all food was labelled, so could be a bit of a guessing game. I have experienced worse. All in all a nice hotel with friendly staff and funny entertainment, The only bad points were the alcoholic drinks were rubbish and watered down, and there was only two toilets in the whole of the reception area of the hotel one of which had no lock and there was never any toilet paper in the other.

We stayed 15th to 22nd June.

You get what you pay for, maybe even more considering we didnt pay too much.

But first and foremost... The ANIMATION team!!! Ninja, Shadow, Luca and alllllll the rest! You guys are Brilliant - u made the whole stay 100 times better! Your energy is amazing and u interact with everyone! So entertaining..! From Aqua gym - Water POLO - the entertainment at night and the all day interaction (if you want it).

The rooms were a good size, we had a lovely room with a pool view and right above the entertainment stage for the evening shows.

Food - was a bit apprehensive reading some prior reviews, but the food turned out to be ok! There was always something different each day, although breakfast could be a bit more continental. The waiters in the restaurant were amazing too, Hamed and the others, thank you!!

Wifi - was readily available, free but only in the lobby, bar and sometimes by the pool, which was fine for us!

Beach - was ok - could be a bit cleaner, but we still did jet skiing etc, but it could be cleaner. its a 5-10 min walk from the hotel

Loved it all - a fabulous break and sooo many friendly people. You made us feel special..!!!

-From Beyonce and Sulaiman !
