“Escape the 'all in' hotels and live a little”
Reviewed June 13, 2013 via mobile

Went for dinner to escape the daily tedium of the 'all inclusive' hotel (Phenicia, supposedly one of the best, but still depressingly geared towards spag bol and chips). So glad we ventured out.

We had the famous 'bric' for starters, followed by delicious spicy couscous with fresh fish, chosen by us from a large platter. Everything was really tasty, portions were very generous, service was friendly, and the whole thing - with wine - was much less than you'd pay in London.

Don't be a cheapskate and hide in your hotel. Step out, see a small slice of wonderful Tunisia, and give your trade to these lovely people.

“Excellent food, great value and great service 10/10”
Reviewed October 29, 2012

Ive bee there at least five times now. Every time it was worth it. I would recommend this restaurnant. You know its good because the Tunisians dine there too! The prices are so reasonable. Whether you sit insideor outside The Bedouina has a true ambience. You are served ample veg with the meal and a tasty starter while waiting. The service is always good and the waiter polite and well dressed. The fish is brought out on a plate so you can have a fresh pick for yourself and if fish isnt to your liking try the lamb chops. They are scrumpious. The wine was served in lovley large Paris Goblets and the waiter chilled the wine bottle in an ice bucket. We we vey impressed espescially after we got the bill. It was so cheap. We were give free Lemon Sorbets which was a nice touch and the candles and soft music there added to the overall dining experience. The old waiter hovered around and made sure we had everything we needed. In all for price, food and service this is a gem. You will not be disappointed. This restaurant if you getting to it by taxi is close to the Belair Hotel and Skakespeare restaurant. Try it. We loved it!

“Authentic Tunisian food and fantastic service”
Reviewed July 2, 2012

We stayed at the Phencia hotel back in April and although dinner was included in the price we decided to head out to one of the restaurants.
The food at the Bedouina was the best we'd had all week!

The decor is very authentic and romantic. The service was fantastic with complimentary starters and sorbet for us as the only 'Non-Tunisian' customers!

Would definitely recommend venturing outside your hotel for dinner here :)

“Great meal, nice decor , good service. Highly recommended.”
Reviewed April 15, 2012

Quiet when we arrived but started filling up with Tunisians later...always a good sign when locals eat in a place. Food was delicious with the usual complementary tasters of harissa, tuna, olives and bread. He had steak with pepper sauce and I had lamb cutlets cooked just right. The half bottle of Rose wine was delightful. A very pleasant evening and would certainly recommendf this restaurant.
