Our first visit was a great choice!
Super friendly and accommodating staff.
Some might suggest it could use updating but definitely not a necessity. Very clean. Easy walking distance to shops and restaurants.
Only a couple negatives, the waitress at the restaurant was so nice, but don’t expect a quick meal to be served. Not a busy night but service was slow. Food was good. Bar area was nice, music a bit loud for the small area and bartender (woman) could have been a bit more friendly.
Definitely Recommend!

I recently stayed at the Riveredge with my 3 sisters. We had a room with a queen bed on the first floor and a queen in the loft, the accommodations were comfortable for the 4 of us. The whole place is a little outdated and could use some sprucing up. We had fun at the Poolside bar.

The staff was very friendly. We went to check in early (11:30a) but the room wasn’t ready so the hostess offered for us to use the pool/fitness room and she would let us know when our room was ready. The pools, one indoor one outdoor, were both extremely clean and a nice temperature. The fitness room was small but had the basic machines (who really works out on vacation anyway lol) so it was great. Shortly later our room was ready and WOW was it a great room. We got the jacuzzi loft suite which was fabulous! The hostess gave us some suggestions of what to do in the area when we checked in as well which was great cause she recommended the drive in theatre (3-5 mins away) which was a great date night for us. Their restaurant was amazing as was the views. Highly recommend staying here.

Excellent location. Room was clean and comfortable. 2nd floor rooms were renovated. Had bay view with balcony. This is west view which overlooked docks and town. Hotel was quiet. Would stay there again.

From Syracuse to Alexandria Bey arriving late afternoon when sun is just about to set. That time of day when the light falls beautifully and softly on the seemingly endless water. Most important, that time when you will book whatever hotel room that would seem clean/friendly/sufficient enough to spend the night.
After checking out the neighboring hotel, Riveredge seemed like the best choice in the area. Although it seemed like it haven’t gone through any renovation, remodeling or redesigning ever since it’s day one, all the amenities including the very basic ones such as hot water seemed to be working fine. The room was very simple and old fashioned yet clean. The reception desk friendly and helpful.
The one thing this hotel really has that many others don’t and has it “big time” is a great fantastic view of the river just as promised by its name.
Breakfast was good and generously served by a very sweet lady which was not enough to convince little one to eat even one of the huge piled pancakes she got.
