It was fun to feel like we were living back in the 70's. Check it out if you want to go back in time.

At $6 per person, there were two movies that night "Total Recall" and "Ted", both newly released. The only downside was we worried during the movie that the car battery may die because we had to turned on the radio in the car to receive the audio.

This is a must-do if you are in the Thousand Islands/Alex Bay area. Whether your a family or on a date this is an awesome place to see first-run movies at a deeply discounted price, not to mention you see TW0 movies for $6! Of course the earlier you arrive the better the spot you get. We were a little off to the side, but the picture was clear from even that angle. The audio comes through your radio, but I sure wish they still used those speakers you hook to your window, just for nostalgia. The concession stand was super clean and offered you basic movie treats such as candy, nachos and popcorn, and they also offered pizza, hot dogs, etc. Not sure of the prices of the food, but I got a large bag of popcorn for $4. I was shocked, as the same size costs over $8 in the NYC area. I thought for sure that because the admission was so cheap they'd make up for it in concessions, clearly not the case. The owners must simply love their eastablishment (a rarity these days) and they show their gratitude to their customers by not killing us in price. We had such a great time at the drive-in. We will definitely come back next time we are up in this area. Oh, and another great thing about this unique drive-in is that they have 2 screens, which means you can see 4 movies over a 2-day period! Have fun at the drive-in.

This was supposed to be one of the best drive ins in the country... I didnt think so and have been to better. The bathrooms were dirty, and although the ticket was cheap, we left before the second movie. Cars were packed in so tightly you could eat your neighbors popcorn. It was just weird and we left. They have 2 screens but if you want to switch between movies you need to buy a crossover ticket... it wasnt worth it to us. So good luck if you go.

This was our 4th trip this drive in. We take our kids every year when we visit the area. It is so affordable and the movies are all first-run, new releases.
