Have just finished our two nights here and are impressed. Were upgraded to a pool room on the beachfront which was fantastic. The views are lovely, the rooms while on the small side are very well equipped with your own coffee maker included and the staff are friendly and courteous.
EXCELLENT LIST
Own beach
well set out resort
2 4 1 cocktail hour
FREE fruit from 4-5pm, lots of great tropical fruit, take as much as you want!
clean and luxurious rooms
friendly staff
Great pool

NEEDS MORE WORK
the location is isolated which is a plus but we wouldn't stay here longer then two nights if you want to see more of the island as its a 40 min drive to most places which would get tiring after a while plus costly every day!
the staff while friendly don't speak very good english and a lot of things get lost in translation and you feel like you're asking too many times for the same thing
prices for food and drink are resonable but overpriced for other areas of phuket so if you're only staying a few nights it is not a worry, but any more and you'd get over it i'm sure.

Overall this is a great place, with lots of great amenities, but I wouldn't suggest staying here any longer then a couple of days.

Stayed at andaman white beach resort from the 3rd July till the 6th and I would say the place was fantastic! i booked a sea view deluxe room with outdoor jacuzzi and was really impressed with the room upon arrival. Service was also tiptop and efficient! The staff were really friendly, always greeting you whenever they see you around the resort. The private beach is also a plus for the resort, you can just pick a gazebo and laze there all day. Price was reasonable considering the facilities and room. There is an internet room as well that allowed you to surf the net using their computers and wifi signal at the pool/restaurant area was fantastic as well. Our outdoor jacuzzi at our room was fantastic as well only a little bit dirty as it had leaves, dead insects and flowers but it was forgivable as it is an outdoor jacuzzi. We used it quite abit but most of our time at the resort was spent at its beach!

The only downside was that the resort is located on a deserted part of phuket and if you are looking for some nightlife or looking to explore the place I wouldnt recommend staying here because the next restaurant or cafes is probably a good 20 mins away by foot.

The food was also slightly pricey compared to food outside but it was alright as the large portions and generous toppings made up for the price. Do try the tom yum goong when you're here, its really addictive and delicious!

Stayed here last year and this place is fantastic!!! Breakfast buffet is sensational, rooms are sensational, service is sensational, just loved it. We stayed in a room with our own private lap pool and it was sensational. Rooms for some may seem a little small but was fine for us. The out door shower was exhilarating (private) but beware of mosquitos at night. T
he only thing that was wrong was a small leak in the roof from the air conditioning but didnt even bother complaining as everything else was so fabulous. If you want to be close to night life this is def not the place, approx 40min drive into phuket itself. We were very impressed with the price. We stayed for 4 nights, used their private cars at least 3 times, drank, ate, and had massages and it was cheaper than just a room in sydney. If all you want to do is relax then this is the place. When travelling to thailand again, we will be booking here again!!!

Room Tip: splurge and get the room with private lap pool

I was taken to the Andaman white beach resort for my birthday and I couldn't have been happier on arrival. The hotel is small and breath taking and it was a real bonus to be upgraded to a pool room. The beach is gorgeous and it felt so safe because it was only for the hotel's residents; I never saw more than 15 people on th beach!
The resort is very quiet which could be a positive or negative dependant on what your looking for. It was really relaxing but I wish the hotel had offered more information about day trips etc, it was easy to feel a little isolated as there is nothing nearby.
The only other downside was the cost of extras in the hotel. Small water bottles were ridiculously expensive and in general the food was overpriced. Massages are more than triple the average price in Phuket so I'd recommend going somewhere else. The breakfast buffet was AMAZING, loads of choice and tasted so good. Also, the complimentary fruit hour between 4 and 5 is a real bonus after spending the day in the sun.
Overall I would definitely stay here again but would plan to hire a car so I wasn't reliant on the hotel or overpriced taxis. A stunning holiday.

In the crowded nightlife of Patong, if you want to spent quality time with your partner, Andaman White Beach Resort: as the name says it all is the best place in Phuket. The beach is Nai Thorn, located in the quieter north of Phuket, away from all the noise and well, tourists. Expect crystal-clear azure-blue sea and fine pure white sand. This beach is usually deserted apart from resort guests as access is only through the resort or by sea. The resort is a self-contained beach lover's paradise but it doesn't stop there: you can avail yourself of the resort's spa, go scuba diving, work out at the gym or simply soak up the rays on this beautiful beach then pamper yourself at one of the four restaurants. This area is isolated and rugged and a far cry from crowded Patong. Carpe diem in the best way possible; by chilling out at Andaman White Beach Resort.

If you want a romantic getaway that is easy to get to i.e. from Phuket International, this is it! Beautiful beach, service and location. If you want the night life of Patong etc it is not for you.

Spent 8 days here on our honeymoon and wanted to spend more!

The location was ideal for us - set on essentially a private beach, it felt very intimate having only 50 rooms. The constant sound of the waves was relaxing. It was a taxi-ride to the town next door, which was a bit of a pain if you wanted to avoid high costs for softdrinks and snacks, but worth it for the seclusion. I recommend stopping at the shop on the way to the resort to pick up supplies! (PS - some people in earlier posts talked about fre minibar - this i no longer the case!!)

Our room was a seaview deluxe room which i think is the best value for money - it was nice and felt "Thai" rather than "modern" - and we had geat views of the ocean. I think if you went to a lower grade room you dont have a balcony, which would be a shame, but i dont think the jacuzzi or pool suites are worth the extra money. The beach suite probably is worth the extra, but then you dont get the views as well......Anyway, the air conditioning was great (though quite noisy - you couldn't hear the waves through it). The bed was very very hard though - we needed massages to get over it after night 4! Also, the bath didnt have a plug, and when one was requested (twice), the plug was the wrong size.

The service was quite poor generally, but given there were so many staff (it felt like 5 staff for every person), i wouldnt expect them all to be great... they were never rude, though the receptionist lady looked grumpy, and some things were simply forgotton - i imagine if you had problems, they probably wouldn't get solved. Fortunately, we didnt have any problems (except missing a bath plug), so we were pretty happy.

The food was very good i thought, and i thought the pricing reflected the fact that it was a hotel on a beach and the food was of a high standard - the breakfast was very good, we hardly ate lunch (as breakfast was so big), but the one time we did, it was nice, and dinner was always good, especially the lamb yellow curry - divine! The food all seemed to be about the same price - 300Baht - whether it was a sandwich or a curry, though some things were more expensive (lobster etc obviously). I thought it was fair pricing for good food, and though we did eat out one time nearby, which wa snice, it was not comparable - you are being charged extra for sitting beachside at the resort, and i thought it was worth it! We enjoyed happy hour and playing pool every night, though the happy hour system they operated was "buy one get one free", which meant each person had to have 2 drinks of the same kind, (they couldnt understand it if you wanted one drink and your partner had the same drink as the free one) which was little confusing, but we just went along with what was easiest and enjoyed it :)

Some locals did massages on the beach for 400baht which were fine, and the spa was nice though expensive at 1600baht (though this is quite usual for hotel spas it seems) - the chocolate massage for nice, but it wasnt the best i ever had.

I think there is a bit of an issue with being so secluded that you are subject to the hotels pricing system - i do think that they charge you extra for taxi's than what you could get if you wre bartering yourselves, and its sad to think they are trying to make extra money this way... if you hire a car, do reserch it yourselves (using the free internet there), and thne get them to book it, stating the price that you know - they will do this for you, but if you leave it to them, they will charge you more.

Overall, i really loved this resort - we got an excellent deal to be on a private beach in a small resort with beautiful sunsets - i would definately go again, but i would go with a bath plug and pick up supplies along the way, and hope that there were no problems with my room :)
