My children 16 & 12 loved the waterpark and because we were staying at Centara West Sands we were able to come and go easily and not have to worry about towels. They provide lockers but we often left all our belongings in one place and didn't have any worries.

Dear "Elesfam",

Our Water Park is effectively a great fun for children as we have many slides and activities for them. For some adults and adolescent/ teen that like to have more chills, we have our 2 Big Slides.

As you well said, all our resort guests like you, can use our Water Park For free!

We are also thrill to read that you found That the resort and the water park was a great combination and that you took advantage of our water park almost everyday if not everyday.

The use of our wristband technology that allows our Splash Jungle Water Park to be cashless and the Towel offer to our in-house guests inside the water park are also an easier and better way to enjoy the place and not worry about anything else except the fear that you might have going down our Boomerango!

I am happy that your 2 children had a blast and splash-tastic day!

We appreciate your positive feedback and hope to see you here again to enjoy the Centara Grand West Sands Resort and villas and our Splash Jungle Water Park.

If you need anything for your next visit, please feel free to ask me personally.

Warmest regards, and Thank you,

Martin Cote

Good couple of hours no huge lines to deal with only a small water park but god to visit. Their a five different water slides and kids pool, a wave pool a hydrotherapy pool and chill out in the river flow pool. There are showers in both men's and female changerooms lockers are included in admission price and soap and shampoo is supplied. Worth a visit to cool off in the heat.

Dear Pinkaholic,

Greetings from Sunny Phuket.

First of all, On behalf of the entire Water Park, I would like to thank you for coming to splash Jungle and for sharing your comments.

As you said, we have a "small" water park. We would never pretend that we have the biggest or the most fantastik one but we are proud of it and it is the Best one that we have on Phuket! We are working hard to make of your day the best it can be!

As you well said, it is a fun place to spend a day to cool off and get some chills from our biggest slides.

Again, Thank you for your comments and hope to see you here again.

Warmest Regards,

Martin

I visited Splash Jungle with my wife and child. Generally, I would say that Splash Jungle is incredibly overpriced, for what it is. The entrance fee for Splash Jungle was nearly 1300 baht ($40 USD) for adults and 700 baht ($25 USD) for children. A comparable water park in the U.S., U.K., Singapore or dare I say anywhere else, would cost no more than 500 baht ($15 USD) to enter. Splash Jungle's entrance fees seem especially absurd, given the Thai market in which it operates.

Although Splash Jungle bills itself as a jungle themed water park, it lacks any semblance of a jungle, and most of the park is unimaginatively designed, and unshaded with concrete (making things hot) which would be great if there were any water attractions/slides of note to cool you down (there are just a few unremarkable ones). Making things worse, Splash Jungle does not allow you to bring in your own food, and you are forced to eat at the park's two cafes, where food is not only of poor quality but is exorbitantly priced. We ate at the Splash Jungle Cafe. The Cafe's food was horrible and most of the dishes were 280 baht or more ($10 USD +). Many of the dishes we ate at the Cafe are available at 1/3 of the price nearly everywhere on the island and of much higher quality.

Finally, Splash Jungle's staff lacked discernible hospitality. When we arrived at Splash Jungle, the guest attendants at the ticket counter seemed annoyed that they would even have to deal with us; when my wife asked some questions, they were very abrupt in their answers to the point of seeming dismissive. A family of tourists who were at the window next to us had brought their elderly mother with them, and asked a guest attendant if she could come in and sit because she obviously was not going to go on the water attractions. The guest attendant coldly said no and made no attempt to accommodate the guests.

If you are in Phuket, I would avoid Splash Jungle unless you like throwing money away.

This used to be a great place and have been here each time I come to Phuket over the last 3-4 years.
Todays visit was rather different:-
- a highlight especially with younger kids was the double rafts to use on the main slides, these are no longer there and its only singles, it means younger kids can't go at all now which gives them little to do
- the place was a bit crowded and pretty dirty
- the water was dirty, the wave pool even had tadpoles, at least they're only tadpoles and not frogs yet
- the service at the restaurant was always not great, but today, after waiting 45 minutes for a simple salad (which arrived) and 1 hour for a toasted sandwich (which never arrived), I think it gets rated as terrible, to top it off, looks like my wife has food poisoning from the salad

The kids used to love coming here - now they likely never wish to return.

Such a shame, a bit of maintenance and some decent service would transform the place.

Dear Rick

Greetings from Splash Jungle

Thank you for your comments here on Tripadvisor and thank you for being a loyal return guest over the years. It is naturally sad to hear, that your current visit did not meet your experiences from the years past. We are striving to improve our offers and sevrices constantly and I am sorry that on your recent visit, this did not find your satisfaction. For the younger kids, there was always a limit to the usage of a minimum of 122cm tall, meaning if you kids are taller that that, they still can use all the slides anytime. Our double tubes needed to be replaced in order to guarantee the safety of all our guests and new ones which will arrive latest by the end of this month. We are indeed getting busier and depending on the time of day, yes we might experience a good booked Waterpark. This of course does affect our service times at the peak hours and I apologiese if the service was to slow for you and four family at that time. I have to say I am very surprised to hear about tadpoles, and to get it straight, this statement is absolutely not correct. All our Pools are getting checked daily and the chlorine levels would instantly eliminate any living tadpoles or similar in the water.

Please again accept my apologiese if this years visit did not find your satisfaction and none the less I hope to welcome you back on your next visit to Phuket. If your travels bring you back to us, please do not hesitate to contact me directly on martinco@chr.co.th to discuss your findings in person and to look after you and your family personally.

Kind Regards

Martin
