My first time in Thailand was spent at the beautiful, well appointed Kingsacre.

The hosts, Glen and Christine were very welcoming, and treated me as part of the family. The bungalows are well appointed, attractive and set within a beautifully lush tidy garden, with a pool and individual loungers for each client. Glen is in charge of breakfast, and is an excellent host. Christine keeps the properties in a pristine condition, and takes some customers on excursions if they so wish.

The resort forms part of the local village of Nai Yang, and is only a 5 minute walk from a long unspoilt beach, with the village shops and restaurants on the road towards the National Park.

They were just starting on the toilet block, Gecko Lodge and the Glamping area - I can't wait to go back and see this new development.

Thank you for having me and tank you for the warm welcome.

Room Tip: All the bungalows are excellent.

My friend and I visited Patong Beach (worst area ever!!!) in the end of October 2013. We decided to get closer to the airport before flying back to Singapore, and saw this amazing place on booking.com.. It sounded too good to be true, so we booked our last night at Glen and Christine's.
Our driver from Patong couldn't find the place, so it took us TWO hours to get there - but it was worth it!!
We couldn't believe our eyes when this wonderful British couple met us at the gate.
They took so good care of us! Glen and Christine showed us their amazing place, their newest project - the Glamping Shelter!

We loved everything about them, their projects, Tam and the breakfast - yummy!
We would absolutely come back to visit Kingsacre in Phuket - but I will NEVER go back to Patong!

Thank you for your review. We are very pleased that you found paradise here at Kingsacre. It would have been a tragedy if you had left Phuket without seeing this beautiful area.
We hope that you will return one day with your family to share our piece of Paradise again

I don’t normally write reviews (this is only my second in 8 years) but I’ve been moved to do so by my experience of KingsAcre.

At the end of our recent travels, my wife and I had 6 nights to spend in Phuket and after a lot of searching came across Kingsacre. The pictures and reviews looked great so we emailed them and got a response within the hour confirming availability.

On arrival we were greeted with cold drinks and enjoyable conversation with the owners Glen and Christine, who were quick to discern that we were looking for a romantic getaway and so choose to set us up in the lovely Dragonfly villa.

Hidden in the corner of the property surrounded by palms and small trees, the one bed Dragonfly villa was everything we could have asked for: King size bed, Egyptian cotton sheets, flat screen TV, fridge, ceiling fan, air-conditioning, huge wardrobe, desk and chair, even a giant bottled water dispenser.

At the front of the villa we had our own private patio with wooden table and chairs, comfy cushions, another ceiling fan, mosquito catcher and even a clothes rack provided. A great spot to appreciate their lovely garden, filled with orchids, mango trees, palm trees and visited daily by local birds bathing in the water features (and if you look closely you may see the colourful fighting fish just below the surface).

Due to the thoughtful way Glen and Christine had landscaped the garden, we were able to sit outside our villa in complete privacy whilst being only a few steps from their lovely pool area.

We had two sun lounges with padded mattresses waiting by the pool every day for our exclusive use. The over-hanging palm trees provided natural shade and with the giant adjustable umbrellas we were always able to easily control the balance of shade for me and sunshine for my wife. The pool is just deep enough and long enough to enjoy a few laps, under the watchful eye of their Lion Statue water feature.

Location wise was perfect for us, literally a 2 minute walk (past the super friendly local children) to the local shops and stalls for lunch, and a pleasant 15 minute stroll down to the beach, shops, restaurants and bars in the evening (and just a 10 minute drive to the airport).

A special mention for Christine’s fruit salads and Glen’s cooked breakfast each morning – Best Omelette Ever! Definitely on our list of places to visit again and we’d strongly recommend Kingsacre for couples and small groups of friends.

Room Tip: All three villas are lovely but you'll get a little more privacy in Dragonfly Villa.

Glen & Chris can be really proud of what they have created at Kinsgacre. The accomodation is in bright and airy mini villas around the lovely garden and pool - definately not to be confused with the usual Thai bungalow experience.

The bedroom and bathrooms are large and well appointed with quality linen & towels. There is an outside seating area which is private thanks to the well thought out landscaping.

The local bars, restaurants and beach are within an easy level walk. We liked the town very much including the close by natural national park areas.

Overal this is a very civilised & peaceful place to stay.

A big thank you to Glen and Christine for arranging our fabulous stay at their villas.

A great location only 10 mins from Phuket airport and a little oasis set in fantastic gardens and a peaceful place for a complete chill out holiday.

Nothing is too much trouble and Glen can arrange trips, car hire or scooter hire and all arrangements are arranged without fuss.

The accomodation is fantastic and in excellent order and very secluded as there are only 3 villas (2 connected for families).

A big tick from us and well worth a visit.
