Begin December, we stayed five nights at Twin Palms in a Grand Deluxe Palm Room.
At Phuket airport, we took a taxi and paid 550 baths. Otherwise, the hotel has a limousine service for 1 500 baths/a way. When we arrived, we received a fresh flower bracelet and a free champagne cocktail with a fresh towel.

The breakfast buffet consists of fresh juice (banana, mango, orange, watermelon, papaya, pineapple), a selection of bread, noodle soup, egg station, fresh fruit, Nutella, Bonne Maman jam, cereals, cheese, beef pastrami, smoked salmon, homemade yogurt, salad, homemade muesli, pancake, bacon, boiled rice with fish, bake bean, potato, croissant pudding and ham but they never change the warm plates.

At this time of the year, there were many guests, that’s the reason why, if you go to the swimming pool, your belongings will be removed if it’s left unattended for more than 30 minutes.
They don’t have enough sunbeds (only 40) at the swimming pool for everyone when the resort is fully booked (they have 97 bedrooms and 21 pool villas). You can also go to the Catch Beach Club on the beach but it is the style of Saint-Tropez. Apparently, most of the guests stay at the hotel to relax and read their book.

The grand Deluxe palm room is fantastic and very well equipped: very comfortable bed, individual high fidelity system, a DVD player, an IPod docking station, in-room safe, a box next to the bed to controls all the room's lighting, air conditioning and fan functions (you have a fan on your terrace and above your bed).

The air conditioning is very quiet.
You receive every day two complimentary bottles of water, a set of small pieces of chocolates in the form of their logo in the morning and and an English newspaper in the afternoon. You receive also all the toiletries each day and you get 12 towels (4 big, 4 medium, 4 small). You can buy nearly all the items of your bedroom in the Twin palms gallery.
The electricity works even when you are not in your bedroom, so you can put on your air conditioning and have a fresh room when you come back in your room.

They propose a shuttle to go to Phuket town for 200 baths/person/way and to Patong for 150 baths/person/way but they need to have at least 5 people. During our stay, nobody was interesting and we finally took the taxi for 500 baths for Patong/way.

In the library there are three computers with an Internet connection at no charge. Otherwise, wireless internet is provided throughout the hotel at no charge and with a good signal everywhere.

The swimming pool is very nice and it stays open 24 hours/a day.

Should you wish to access your room prior to 2pm, rooms may be reserved and paid for the night prior to actual arrival. Late checkout can be arranged, a charge equivalent to 50% of your room rate will apply for departure prior to 6pm, after 6pm a charge equivalent to an extra night will apply.

If you leave in the afternoon or in the evening, you can use the showers with shower gel, shampoo and conditioner in a dispenser in the spa (3 showers for the men and 3 showers for the women) and they give you a towel. They have lockers you can use.

You have the possibility of snorkeling from the beach (right or left side of the beach) but you have to be very careful because there is some current (especially in the left side of the beach). The visibility is good but I would advise it only with fins and for experienced snorkelers or divers.

You can pay your bill with your Visa card without any fee and you can mention on your ticket an amount to give a tip to the staff.

I will highly recommend this resort.

We Stayed at Twinpalms for 10 days. We where upgraded to Duplex pool suite. That was a really Nice room. The Suites in the Hotel had a 24 butler service if you should need something. The Beach "Catch Beach club" is really Nice. This is free for Hotel guests. The gym in the Hotel is really Nice. We also used the spa and had sone treatments but i prefer really sport massage and that was perfect 100 meters higher up in the street. We did not stay at the pool because we loved the Beach.
The breakfest is ok , but nothing more. I think this is not a perfect standard for a Hotel like Twinpalms. They could have done so much more. Its Nice and privat at the Hotel.

I booked a spa day as an outside guest at The Palm Spa. We arrived 30 minutes early and say by the pool area to wait around, one of the staff was so rude to us.

Saying we couldn't sit by the pool area if we are not staying at the hotel. But I had asked in my booking email if the hotel welcomes outside guests to sit by the restaurant or pool before or after spa

I almost cancelled my spa treatment due to the staff's attitude. I was not impressed at all and would never stay at this hotel.

Dear ReneMalika,
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience.
As our employee shared with you, Palm Spa, who welcome outside visitors offers waiting facilities at the spa lounge and also at the lobby, however, the Pool area is reserved to Hotel guests for privacy and security purposes.
I understand that despite this challenge you enjoyed your Spa treatment and we do hope to have the pleasure to welcome you back either as a Spa guest or as a Hotel guest.
Best Regards
Olivier Gibaud

This resort is beautiful and located in a very relaxing location on Phuket. The property is gorgeous and well kept. We enjoyed both the pool and the beach during our stay. The pool was never full and we were always able to secure a lounge chair. The beach was the nicest we saw during our stay on Phuket, it was kept very clean and the lounge chairs and Catch beach club were very nice. We enjoyed drinks during happy hour and it was wonderful to sit on the beach each night after dinner.

The room was large, modern and very clean. The bed was HUGE and very comfortable.

Brunch was yummy, however, on our last day they changed the brunch service from buffet to a la carte, and we felt the buffet offerings were much nicer than the a la carte offerings. Not really a negative, however, since we were able to try both, we felt this was a let down after the buffet offerings.

We did try the Sunday brunch at Oriental Spoon and it was amazing. Endless seafood and bloody mary's = great day!

This is a rather chic hotel with beautiful and spacious rooms, nicely located but a bit on the expensive side. Breakfast was very good but lunch and dinner at the hotel's restaurant are definitely overpriced. It has an amazing pool.

1. Very unique middle range resort with suitable rooms, not so crowded. You can enjoy ur own spaces
2. Stylish room and decoration.
3. Warm greeting from pick-up and drive-away while my stay.
4. Close to the beach by 3 mins walk.
5. AWESOME breakfast!!!
6. Fruits served in pool area in the afternoon.

1. Over priced with its location access to anywhere in Phuket.
2. No free shuttle bus to Patong beach.
3. No daily fruit in the room(others do)
4. Everything is too expensive even near beach bar and other near-by place

Tips: there is a tesco and some small restaurant right next to another hotel exit, try to get daily supply there.
