Perfect for Couples or Honeymoon, because it is very quiet and relax. The hotel facilities are excellent too, such as its Spa, Beach Club, Fitness Centre...etc. Highly recommended.

Twin Palms is an ideal place for couples and friends to enjoy a relaxing holiday in beautiful tropical gardens. The pool is big enough for everyone to enjoy ( get in early for a lounger or the daybeds).
And the service at the pool and in the restaurant is excellent.
Rooms are spacious and have everything you need. The spa is typical for a resort and offers all the usual treatments is tranquil surroundings. We stayed for 2 weeks and did not want to leave. Catch club is a great spot to enjoy the beach or have a drink. I would not recommend this resort for kids as there are no facilities other than a pool. We were there to celebrate a birthday of a friend and it was perfect for this, plenty of room for us all to get together. Lots of restaurants on the beach to choose from and 2 mini marts close by and lots of massage places on the streets outside the resort. Transport was available at the resort but it's much cheaper to go onto the street outside and negotiate with the taxis.

Room Tip: Choose an upstairs room grand delux

As anyone who works in London and uses the underground knows, the couplet of ‘backpack’ and ‘holiday’ should never meet. Twin Palms is the solution to the other 50 weeks of the year when you are on the other side of tranquility. I stayed with a few friends and we liked this place a lot after a hectic week in Kuala Lumpur for a wedding and a stopover in Bangkok.

We stayed in a residential suite with its own pool; within it there’s two floors of open plan living space with a specially tailored mix of ambient music easing us through every gradual movement. The rooms are pretty vast and beautifully furnished and laid out. There was even our excellent and very sweet personal attendant, Pond (see, we had a pool and a Pond) who is just the push of a buzzer away.

This place is manifest tranquility with beautiful grounds and reception, very much a place to unwind.

In the evening the three of us (the English contingent from the Kuala Lumpur wedding if you haven’t been keeping up) ambled across the road to the deserted Surin Beach to take dinner on the sand at a simple, no-frills local restaurant called Two Brothers with a backdrop of lapping waves. Barbecued prawns the size of dogs, a tremendous take on pork with chilli and ginger and a spicy tom yum soup that blew the brains out ensured my night ended by going back alone to the residence to immediately jump in the pool to cool off and regain compsure that not even the Singha beer could provide.

Guests feel a million miles away from the Irish pubs, go-go bars, whisky buckets, ladyboys and ping pong balls of Patong. But also only thirty minutes in a taxi. After a night's visit there it's just a pleasure to get back and plan another day of doing nothing, some more good food, a massage and forgetting what the hell it was you were worried about in the first place. Utterly charming staff complete the package.

My only reservation is we were there just in the off-season, were very lucky with the weather and paid, I think, close to half-rates. Would it be worth so much at double the price with a bit of extra sunshine and a little less rain thrown in, I'm not so sure.

When we decided to get married in Thailand, we knew that we wanted to get married by the beach. I started by narrowing the search to 5 resorts on the coast of Phuket and then left the final decision to my husband-to-be. After LOTS of research, he decided Twinpalms was “the one”.

As an events organiser, it was very difficult to hand over control of my wedding to a venue I had never visited and staff I had not met. However, I needn’t have worried. My first contact was with Mr Binn – he could not have been more helpful – responding to my numerous long emails, full of questions, not just quickly but with enough detail to put my mind at ease.

We visited the venue 4 days before the wedding – it was beautiful. Our ceremony took place in the Thai Sala, overlooking the pool. Twinpalms is very sleek, modern but yet still manages to feel welcoming. Our reception took place at Catch Beach Club. This in contrast was very beachy, with white decking, fire pits and…sand. It complimented the Twinpalms resort perfectly. The food was delicious with lots of variety to suit all our guests tastes.

The whole wedding turned out even better than we ever could have dreamed. Even the short thunderstorm in the middle of the evening reception just added to the experience and actually cooled down the air to a temperature which meant we could spend the night dancing.

We are so happy we chose Twinpalms and Catch Beach Club and would like to thank Mr Binn and Nat (manager at Catch Beach Club) for all their help on and in the lead up to our big day – they really did help to make our day very special. Thank you x

Exceptional service. Great room with huge bathroom and bed. Quiet, comfortable, exactly what you expect from this type of hotel.
The best thing of all was there were no kids! (no offence to all the parents out there) but this made a big difference.
The food and drink is expensive in Thai terms but it's great quality and probably worth it.

Small resort hotel that is tastefully put together with all the little things done. Decor is brilliant and the cocept of all the rooms bordering a large lagoon pool is great. Five star accommodation. Oriental spoon restaurant is good and very reasonably priced. Catch beach club right on the beach is also good value. Burin beach itself is much quieter than other areas in Phuket. No shopping, and less restaurant choices, but those we tried were all good
