We really enjoyed Nai Yang beach. We arrived at 8pm in thailand and wanted somewhere close by to spend our first night, and what a great choice it was to go here. Took 5 min from the airport to get there. Dropped our stuff at the hotel and headed down to the beach to have our first thai beer. Arrived to a awesome atmosphere and very friendly people and had a great 1st night. Awesome breakfast on the beach the next day before we left. Came back a few hours before we left thailand for dinner as we loved it so much the 1st night and it was close enough to walk to the airport. Next time I would spend more than a night there.

There's a number of small businesses along the coast road which ends in the Sirinath National Park. A dusty tree area of conservation. The beach is sandy, plenty of space with restuarant facilities , scooter hire, small shops, massage and tour operators nearby. A laid back place with signs of civilisation but no big hotels or high rises nearby. Great.

Love swimming in the ocean. I was constantly stung by sea mites whilst swimming. Random pricks on the body. At first I thought that it was due to chemicals in the water.

Excellent beach with a few shops and places to eat. Its never to crowded and a lovely place to chill. Has a few vendors doing local Thai food, well worth a try.

Coming to Naiyang Beach, first you see a lot of tourist, and restaurants on the beach for dinner, second you realize there are only small shops and massage parlors, etc. - alltogether it is like vacation in Thailand decades ago.
I was really happy, not to see any huge hotel buildings, and then after ten to eleven p.m. it gets quite silent at this place in Phuket.
