Good idea gone wrong. Two buildings make a corridor to channel the "seawind" toward the hotel, which is nice. However, everything is in disrepair. If you can imagine some aspect of the hotel being broken, it is. The buildings in front have been gutted and are full of junk. A dog with no hair and nasty rashes all over its body would come chase me when I walked outside (harmless, but freaky). Cable doesn't work, of course. Air con, sort of. Didn't even go to the pool because I just looked at everything else. Night shift worker was barely there. Nice when he was, but that wasn't often. Thank god they had Internet for free.
Now this place is called "The Sea". Don't be fooled. It will take lots of time and money to fix this place up, so don't hold your breath. Go somewhere else. We got stuck here after arriving late and thinking it would be fine (I have stayed in other places on this strip and not had a problem).More
