We stayed at Grand Rawai House for 1 week, we had a 3-bedroom apartment. The rooms were super-clean, just impeccable, even no sign of dust. The apartment is spacious, but be wary, it's still different from the website picture. The bathroom had good water flow, which is valued in Thailand. Breakfast is not included, you get an 120 coupon to order from the regular menu. If you exceed those 120 baht (which you will anyway, given the prices), you have to pay extra. One day we ended with a 800 bill for breakfast for 2 adults and 1 child. The worst and most ridiculous part of our stay was a 1000 !!! baht charge (more than 30 USD for a broken key card). Absurd!
Staff are friendly. Restaurant OK, but most of Thai food had too much soya sauce, which made it way too salty. Tom Yum was very good though.
The hotel is in the middle of nowhere, and can be accessed via a long dirt track, which has no lights in dark hours, so don't try walking! The neighboring houses have many dogs, whom you wouldn't want to meet.
The beach is not very far, but since Rawai is a harbor, not a swimming beach, you'll need to find transportation to Nai Harn. The hotel runs a shuttle bus service.
Overall - OK, but wouldn't recommend or come again. Sorry.More
