We have just returned from an amazing holiday in Phuket. The villa was comfortable and well kept, Jittra ( the manageress) organised all the necessary and was "on call" constantly whenever we needed anything - from the taxi's to even letting my hubby use her golf clubs!
I would highly recommend the beach at Nai Harn and Pla organised the hire of scooters, which we used to go around Rawai - absolutely a feeling of freedom and the children loved it! The outing to Patong, Kata, Raya Island and elephant trekking was all superbly organised for us and thoroughly enjoyed - as well as a trip to the night market for a bit of shopping.
It was the perfect, peaceful and would highly recommend it - we had 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a kitchen, lounge area, the private pool with the reed shelter ( which we watched being built) were where enjoyed many sundowners.
The villa was serviced once a week for clean linen and towels, but the pool and surroundings daily. The food from Coconut Restaurant was delicious and I would also recommend Nikita's on the beach, Yumm Yumm Corner and Amalfi's.
We will definitely return to this small piece of paradise.....there is so much more we want to do and see!

Good for family stay with small children , nearby see food market handy and be careful of the slippery floor though when it get wet after swimming .
Staff there are very helpful as after the trip we forgot some items at the Vila we stayed and also on the minivan on the way to airport , they helped us to find it and willing to post it to us. Great staff especially Jittra is an angel.

We recently returned for our second visit to Coconut Villas again for two weeks and really enjoyed our stay.
When deciding on accommodation in Phuket you have to decide what you want from your holiday. If you want the full five star treatment then the villas are not for you. If you want the hustle and bustle of Patong then the villas are not the answer either.

If you want to be able to do your own thing, have the space of a second bedroom and bathroom with a kitchen and washing machine in a quiet village vibe location then the villas will tick your boxes. If you are a family then the villas will save you a lot of money in not having to pay for a second room for your kids.
Whilst their is no maid the owners and managers are always available to help and answer any questions you may have. They have taken the time to put together a comprehensive folder of things to do, things to buy, where to go and the costs you should roughly pay which is a big help if you are new to the art of bargaining or even not sure of what you should be paying. The managers meet you on arrival regardless of what time you arrive and can also organise pick
ups from the airport if you require.
We hire a car as like others say it is at the bottom of Phuket so a car is handy. Whilst it might be a 25 minute drive to Patong there is actually no need to go anywhere if you just want a beach relaxing type of holiday. The restaurants around the villas are excellent and most deliver including the Coconuts Restuarant.
The best beach Nai Harn is only minutes away - this is the beach that is used in most of the advertisements for Phuket. Aside from the beautiful beach the best thing is there is no water sports allowed so that is no jet skis, no parasailing and no speedboats roaring up and down the beach.
Someone mentioned that to do any of the tours it is painful as being at the bottom of the island the tours all leave up north. This is not quite accurate, the most popular tour to Phi Phi Island actually leaves from Chalong which is only minutes away. The James Bond Island tour does require some travelling but it is an easier drive than if you are coming from Patong where you are also required to get on a bus to get to the port where the boats leave from.

We actually rented five villas this time around and whilst the villas are all slightly different they all have the necessities required for a fabulous stay. We got Chris to organise for a cleaner to come into each villa for one hour a day and that was a fabulous option. The cleaner made beds, cleaned the floor, cleaned the kitchen which was a nice touch for the mums of the group not to have to be on holidays still doing the chores. The kitchen is a great plus if you have kids as often we would make a small meal for the kids before going out so when we got to the restaurant they were mostly ok to go with a small meal / keep themselves amused while we ate. The villas also have someone come in every five days to do a tidy and change the sheets and towels, as well as a a pool person / rubbish collector clear outside your villa every day.

One other thing that is handy, Chris and Phil can organise for a tour guide to visit the villas named Pla who can help you with organising tours or even as we did doing a private charter to Phi Phi which we felt was better for us so we could stay as long as we liked at each stop. They can also organise a massage lady to visit if you want to be lazy and not go to the shops.

We love the villas and the location as it is quiet and relaxing but with everything only minutes away if you need.

Coconut Paradise is located in Rawai, which is a suburb where local Thai people live. As such the resort is quiet and peaceful and the area gives visitors a feel for real Thailand. It forms a great base for exploring Phuket by scooter or rental car. These features may be detractors if you're looking for a lounge-about, full service beach holiday. Being out of the way, it is also difficult to find if you're asking someone to come and fetch you for an outing.

The houses are excellently appointed with every convenience you could require. Kitchens are good, although we never cooked and always walked the short distance to one of the many good, affordable restaurants in the main road. Service around the house is excellent and the gardens and pool are always in pristine condition. The house is serviced once a week, so you'll have to clean up your own dishes and beds for 6 days of the week.

Staff is super-friendly and will do most anything to help you make the most of your holiday. I'll highly recommend this villa to people who intend exploring Phuket and will stay here again in future!

Room Tip: Paradise Island is super with it's private pool.

Everything you read about how wonderful The Beach House apartment is really is true! We spent four wonderful days there and wished we could have stayed much longer. The owner, Sue, went out of her way to make us feel at home. She arranged a tour of the area, lent us a local cell phone and gave us great advice on where to go and what to see.
The apartment has everything you need including a fridge and microwave. It's just the right size for one or two people.
The bar nextdoor, although it doesnt serve food, is the perfect place to share a beer with some of the local expats. Everyone is so friendly!
Great food is only a ten minute walk down the beach. A short drive away is some of the best food ever at Norbu's Steakhouse. They will even come and pick you up and take you home after dinner. (Sue turned us on to Norbu's.)
Rawai is the perfect place for anyone looking for a quite time away from all the crowds. If you rent a car or scooter you can get everywhere within a few minutes, but walking works just as well.
We will definately be going back to The Beach House!
P.S. While you are there, have Sue put you in contact with Pla from Sabaidee Tours. She arranged some fantastic day trips for us!

These really are beautiful villas to stay in! We travelled as a family of 7 and found the villas to have plenty of space! We did say however that if we just had one of the villas i.e. the bigger one and a couple we didn't know had the other villa...we would find this to awkward to relax by the pool and not really be able to let our hair down as these two particular villas are very close together and share a pool. Both of the villas together was perfect!!
The owners throughout the whole stay could not do enough for us,but only when we asked... they wearn't hovering around making us feel uncomfortable!! The owners met us there and gave us a contact number if we needed anything and they helped book excursions for a cheaper price also.
The coconut restaurant not far away serves lovely food...i think red-thai curry and massaman were the favourites! I would most certainly stay again and already have recommended it to others!

Room Tip: In Phi Phi-lay there is one large double room with lovely en-suite! The other two doubles share thei...

I am frequent tripadvisor user, but this is the first time I have decided to write a review. We came to Coconut Paradise for a short 5 nights holiday and finally stayed for more than two weeks. Our younger child got serious health problem shortly after our arrival and had to stay in the hospital for many days. The human approach and behavior of everybody in Coconut Paradise was exceptional and of great help to our family. This human touch is what really makes this place special and memorable! So once again BIG thanks to the owners, all the employees and specially to Kat, who has been kind and helpful beyond imagination!
