Such a great little coast with very good restaurants, a few bars (Sunshine bar in particular) and a great massage place named Sabai. Dine and watch the amazing clear water and long tail boats. One of our favorite places to hang.

There is not much of a beach here. You can walk along the promenade early in the morning or go there late evening for some food along Nikita's and a good time.

We stayed in a villa with our own pool amongst the locals in Rawai. Such a bargain. The nearby beach was fantastic. Hire a beach lounge, umbrella and boogie board for cheap and spend the whole day on a fabulous beach with great waves. A great place to also hire a motor cycle, as we did, and tour around, including going to watching a great sunset. Some great food places. Friendly locals. Very quiet compared to places like Bangla Road.

I was in Thailand during the raining season, but the beach was really very beautiful. The owner of my Hotel told me that during the high season there are a lot of tourists.
