If you are looking at hiring a day bed for 100baht each go to this beach it is very small and very quiet. Do not go here if you intend to swim, unless you like swimming over the rocks underfoot.

We went to the "Pier" twice by taxi - lured by reports of an excellent seafood restaurant "on the pier".......we never found it!

We hired motorbikes and drove around the coast of Phuket one afternoon. It was a nice stop just before sunset. It doesn't look like it would have been nice to swim in but there are plenty of restaurants around.

This is not a place for swimming, as it is a fishing area. You can but seafood right off the boat and take it across the street and have it cooked at the restaurants. Very tasty and inexpensive. Plenty of shops and stalls selling the usual tourist items.

There is a lots of fresh seafood you can buy and have it cooked across the road for really cheap. The pearls at the stalls are also very cheap. It is worth is to travel there to buy some pearls and eat seafood.
