“Rawai beach”
Reviewed February 7, 2013 via mobile

We stayed in Rawai in April 2012, did not think much of the area because of the open drains smell along the beach, having said that the fish restaurants are great and cheap.

“Not much,but a must”
Reviewed February 6, 2013

I know that the tittle is quite strange, but i think it's the most appropriate. It is just a beach, where most locals donot like to swim.It is not the best beach around the island but...you have to go there.Simple because is where you can find fresh, really fresh and quite cheap(at least comparing to my country prices. So the deal is really simple, you choose what fish you like and buy it.You cross the road and choose a restaurant where they cook it for you for a small amount of money. It is the best way to eat fresh fish in really good prices.
Donot miss it

“Lively area but not too crazy busy - just right”
Reviewed January 25, 2013

The Rawai area offers a lot. Boat trips, bars, the gypsy village for fresh fish restaurants. People go kayaking and kite surfing from the beach.

“Rawai beach is great”
Reviewed January 14, 2013

Great sand, not too busy and plenty of places to eat under the trees. There is also very little built up around the beach while makes it feel special.
