Even Rawai beach is not the most beautiful beach in Phuket, The Vijitt provided me an exceptional quality time. Rooms are nice. Breakfast was superb. Of course, staff are very professional and friendly.

ROOM
This eco-friendly atmosphere means that you have to put up with the sudden attack from moth and mosquitos at night while you are asleep. The shower is almost outside, so it's quite spooky to take shower at night. Bed is quite hard and the bedding is mediocre. Air-conditioning is not enough to keep the humidity away and the bedding is way too thick for that hot and humid weather.
BREAKFAST
Not good. Could be better. The menu rarely changes which means you have to eat almost the same menu during your stay. Only 2kinds of sausage, potato, noodle, beans, bacon, rice, rice soup, egg station, humble collection of vegitable and fruit, bread. that's it. - maybe due to the low season.
LOCATION
The beach-you can't really jump into the ocean and enjoy ocean swimming. It's all mud farm, mostly.
Nothing around there - you have to walk more than 10 minutes (in that humid Thai weather) to go to the nearest convenience store. No decent local restaurant around. You need to hire taxi - total rip off. The hotel arranges taxi for you but it costs 400bht. (approximately 14bucks) one way for 5 minute ride. If you are not willing to get ripped off, then you need to stick to the restaurant in the resort. Only "one" restaurant was running.
Service
The service there was just like that of a restaurant that the owner rarely visit, which means the staff is doing "only" what they are told to. Service is just average.

We stayed for 5 nights with our children. The resort is nice enough. Its quiet and the facilities and service are generally good. The kids club doesn't really have much in the way of structured activities for the children. Service levels in the restaurant are poor. We had one particularly bad experience where we waited for 45 minutes for our meals while the resort staff ate there lunch near by. We left the restaurant with out eating. Considering the cost of the resort this is completely unacceptable.

We stayed during 7 nights in July in The Vijit Resort, I can confirm that it felt like heaven on earth... Marvellous vieuws and location, excellent service, great restaurant, beautiful rooms!
The staff helped us with arranging different excursions to the islands and we also visited Coral Island (free offer by the hotel). This was the ideal place to enjoy a great and relaxing holiday!
This is definitively the best hotel in the whole Phuket area and the best hotel we ever stayed in.

We stayed at this hotel after a trip to Ko Racha. The hotel is located in the Rawai area of Phuket, and we noticed that hotel transfers to/from major sites in Phuket are quite expensive. Public transport is limited, but the hotel itself has some free shuttle services. On arrival, we were struck by how polite and efficient the staff were (particularly Natty). The accommodation consisted of individual bungalows located over undulating terrain on the side of a hill leading to the beach. The construction made use of natural contours, and the gardens are beautifully landscaped. As a result, the resort has a lovely feeling of seclusion within the greenery. The room itself was clean and exceptionally spacious, with a large bath, his and hers basins, and an outdoor showering area. We didn't use many of the facilities (Spa etc.) so cannot comment on these. The food in the restaurant was not exceptional, but the service was excellent. The resort if exceptionally good value considering the price.

What a beautiful place to stay. Don the limo driver. Pui at the reception, Chris the manager. Tham and Noi in the restaurant in the evenings and Miguel in the mornings. Such beautiful welcoming people.
When we pulled in from the busy streets of Rawai, my heart sank. I thought we were going to be in total isolation... Then we went through the security gate, and there it was. Peace, tranquility, beauty and a tropical paradise. Orchids, palms, ginger, frangipani trees every step of the way. My dream garden. And CLEAN!!! It was so clean!
The outdoor shower, the massive bath we enjoyed drinks in together with the window open looking out into the garden! the bed with a view that we watched the sunrise through!!! Simply breathtaking.
And the small things that made a massive difference... the shampoo, the body lotion, the bug spray. Very thoughtful. And incredibly divine smelling!
The only suggestions I can make: 1) Do a coral island visit with Kang. And take cash. We thought it best to not take camera, wallet, not realising what kind of day it would be. And take plenty of sunscreen. That UV sneaks up on you! 2) and we didn't get a chance to redeem our SPA visit... but DO IT!!! 3) And learn the basics. All the staff speak a little english, the least you can do is learn their language. Hello and thank you goes a long way :) Bon Voyage Xxx

Room Tip: Indulge in a pool room. We didn't, but wished we had.

Last week my wife and I stayed at the Vijitt Resort right down in the south-eastern corner of Phuket, and it proved to be the best resort we have ever had the pleasure of staying at. The resort itself was 100% perfect. We simply couldn't fault it. The staff, from the top down, were totally professional and extraordinarily agreeable, the food was excellent, our villa was quite beautiful, with surely on of the best views from a bed in the world, but when it came down to it, it was the excellence of the staff that sets this resort apart.

Room Tip: Do take a beachfront villa.
