“Quality resort hotel at the quiet south East side of the Island.”
Reviewed August 21, 2011

A tastefully designed resort hotel with nice walkways and pretty well maintained gardens. Pool villas were very comfortable with splendid views of the bay and the resort. Food at the resort was very good and the cooking course well prepared and worth a try. The 40m pool is great for visitors who enjoy swimming laps. Fitness room is basic. Can run from there to the Promthep Cape in approx. 30' (bring enough water). Spa was great with relaxing massage while monkeys swing between trees in a distance. Staff very friendly and helpful. Though still a lot better than my Thai, the command of the English language is an issue for many staff but we managed to communicate. When its low tide you can walk a long distance over the beach/see bed and admire millions of little crabs. Hotel transportation is safe and comfortable both on resort (golf carts) and on the road.

Room Tip: Wrote e-mail directly to hotel for a price quote and obtained better rate than through Hotels.com an...

The villa was great, nice views. Breafast delicious. The pool very nice. The staff really friendly. The beach is not good, is better to go to Patong, Kata... The location could be better. The price was really good. I would return to this hotel.

We have got the pool villa, with the private pool, the great view in the morning.
I give 4/5 for the cleaness, cause of the ground in the bathroom looks dirty.
One thing i love too much.. Breakfast!
the staff always smile and helpful

We got a last minute deal on expedia and were very pleased with what we got for the money. We stayed in a deluxe villa (75) and the view was nice, the distance to the restaurant and pool wasn't bad (the steep hill was a little much after too much to drink or too much time in the sun!). The villas are huge with beautiful bathrooms and floor to ceiling windows. My only complaint with the villas would be the choice of wall paper as it makes the walls look like they have stains on them but it's the design. The other thing was the bugs. Make sure you keep all the door as firmly shut as you can and maybe bring some bug repellent.
The staff at the hotel are unreal! The friendliest staff we have come across for sure. Always said hello and smiled no matter who they were or what you were doing. Toto from the restaurant was so nice, worked really hard and made our time there very pleasant. Beau from reception was also very nice. One of the things we loved the best about staying here was the singer and guitar player that were at the restaurant for lunch and breakfast. They were AMAZING! They knew about a million english songs and they were soooo good. It was amazing the songs they turned into acoustic versions. I could listen to them for ages. Definitely give them a tip on your way out
The pool was one of the most beautiful pools I have been in. The views were amazing, the temperature was just right, it was awesome. You can swim in the ocean when the tide is high, but why would you when you have such an amazing pool there?
Despite a few little things that could be improved (villa decor, bugs), we had an amazing time and would recommend this hotel!

Room Tip: If you have the money, upgrade to the pool villa! It looked beautiful and we were so jealous looking...

I stayed here for 2 nights at Deluxe Villa. The room is nice and big. However, the toiletries provided in the room is not impressed (compared to other pool villa). Breakfast line is average. All staffs are friendly and helpful. I also tried message in V Spa, and it was a great experience.

Nice sea view, only if you book sea view or beach front villas. Beach is un-swimmable. Good comfortable lodging with nicely done simple thai interiors. Great infinity pool.

Food at the restaurant is average, with slightly higher than normal prices, which is OK. I ordered Lamb Chops last night. Quality of meat was perfect, but the cooking was not, did not enjoy my dinner last night. I had eaten thai food there, which is much better than bar-b-q and international cuisine they offer.

Location is a little difficult to get around. A nice massage parlour and restaurant 500 to the left across the main road. Wanted to go there for massage and food, but closed on Mondays. Rawai beach is 20 min walk, where you find more restaurants and places for massage. But the spa across the hotel looks much better than what you may find on the Rawai beach.

Rooms are good size. I stayed at deluxe villa 17, which is a little behind the beach front villas (1 to 10). It offered great view of Andman sea. Two celling to floor glass windows and a balcony add to the atmosphere.

Took meter taxi from the phuket airport and paid only 500 bhat compared to 1200 bhat hotel charges. Called the same taxi company on my return and paid 600 bhat for my return. Hotel provides complementary shuttle bus to nearby beach, shopping centres and coral island. Very convenient. But shuttle is limited in service and has restrictive timetable.

Since I had booked the hotel for my 27th wedding anniversary, the room was decorated with flowers on the bed, which I appreciated. Also we got a complementary bottle of wine in the room.

As other travellers have mentioned, beds are hard and not very comfortable. Bed linen is not 5 star standard at all.

I took the laundry bag to pack my shoes on my return, which I always do at other hotels. At the checkout, they asked me for the laundry bag, since it was missing from the room and wanted to charge me 315 bhat. Of course I returned the bag.

Lost my key at the beach, and had to pay 1,000 bhat to the hotel, which is not bad, since they have to replace the lock.

Very polite and helpful staff. We enjoyed out short 4 day trip here. Which I had stayed a little longer.

Despite all the negative comments I gave, this is a great resort away from the crowded beaches of Paton, Karon and Kata. I am glad I stayed here.
