Having already been to a fair few cave temples in Thailand this visit left me wondering why I hadn't been sooner! No problems with the pricing, only paid 15 baht per person for a songthaew up to the main area and my Thai wife paid the same.
Inside the cave temple was resplendently bathed in green luminescence with natural light from the cave-top mixing with the draft of incense smoke. A giant sleeping Buddha led the way to a chedi prang in the second room which also had a beautiful light awning creating a magnificent space inside. Clearly a lot of renovations have been done including a new floorway plus work on the many buddhas inside. The monkeys outside were no bother to anyone. To sum up a must-see when passing through Petchaburi, it will only take around an hour to visit.
