Owner description: Flying Hanuman is an adventure like no other on Phuket. It shows that the island’s beauty goes far beyond the sea, sun and sand that it is famous for. The hillsides of Phuket overflow with thick forest that is great for exploration and outdoor activities. What Flying Hanuman aimed to achieve was to provide travellers with exceptional service, enjoyment, excitement and memories without impacting the natural balance within the forest environment surrounding it. There is no better way to take in the other face of the Pearl of the Andaman.

The whole experience was fantastic from pick up to drop off. Very well organized. The guides were lots of fun. Myself 46, husband 50, and our daughter both 14 had a ball. It is for all ages. Small 5 min walk to first station. You are little puffed when you get there, but guides stop and let you rest if needed. We felt very safe at all times, the guides take excellant care of you. They are good fun but put safety first. I thought for what you get it is excellant value for money. We have done this tin Australia but not has many stations and it was more expensive. Everyone gets a tee shirt when you finish, fresh fruit and water for when you are doing the course. The 400 metre zip line in unreal. I thought I would be scared but was having too much fun. Do this when in phuket you will love it.

We’re so pleased hear such appreciation from our guests, Kym, especially tenured zip liners with some experience under their belt! It really pleases us to hear that we provided a better value than another location you've visited in the past! It sounds like you noticed that our guides are well trained in safety but still manage to have fun.

Our goal is for each guest to have a memorable and safe experience while taking in the breaking view of the other face of the Pearl of the Andaman. The complimentary T-shirts are really enjoyed by our guests and we hope you'll find them a great keepsake to remember the fun you have on the trop. The 400m meter line you mentioned is our longest station, the "Superman Fly." It can really be an adrenaline rush after you complete it! We really would love to have you back, but in the meantime please share if you took any photos during your visit!

“Awesome!”

This place's overall experience was awesome. With the full course, transfers and food, there's no place to go wrong. The instructors were fun and energetic, and the food was very good. Overall, it is a phuket must see.

Thanks for the kind remarks about your visit and the recommendation. We really do strive to make the whole trip fun starting at hotel pickup to the end of the day when you get your snacks and rest.

Our Guides are always professionally trained, but are able to have fun with the guests since they’re also creating great memories every day! If you took any photos we'd love to see! If not, then make sure to take some when you come next time. We hope to see you again in the future!

“A must do in Phuket”
Reviewed June 23, 2014

We had such an awesome time at Flying Hanuman. The staff were awesome and take safety as utmost importance. We did course A which was worth it as it was all inclusive (transfers, food whole course).
The great thing is that they allow you to bring you own cameras (just make sure they are safely secured).
On the longer platforms ask to do a superman with one of the guides as you will be able to get an Adrenaline hit from the different view.

Try to do the earliest morning session before it gets to unbearably hot

Wow, thanks for recommending us as a "must do in Phuket." It's an honor to get such praise from a guest about your experience and our staff. I'm sure you noticed that we work hard to provide a fun atmosphere while keeping safety as the top priority.

Our guides are always happy to help guests take exciting photos during the trip. Tips are appreciated of course. Just so you know, we always provide guests with a free water bottle as well as nice wet towels at the end to help them cool off. We know it can get hot at times, so we do our best to help keep guests comfortable! Thanks for your visit. We hope to see you back soon. Also, please post any photos if you have some from your visit.

“Great fun - "safety first"”
Reviewed June 20, 2014

We had a really good couple of hours at Flying Hanuman. Our guides were friendly and very professional in safety terms. The actual course (we did the full length course minus a meal) was great fun with the 400m zipline definitely the highlight.
The course took just under two hours. There was an option to have a video of your adventure made, but it was a bit pricey for our backpacking budget.
The whole experience, from pick up at hotel, to our return (both included) ran smoothly and we even got a free t-shirt!
This definitely isn't just for kids, anyone can enjoy it and it's certainly worth the money.

Gus, thanks so much for coming to have an adventure with us! The course you mentioned is our most adventurous line called the "Superman Fly" and it's also the longest. We're sorry you didn't get to do the video this time but it sounds like you still had great memories regardless. Plus the T-shirts can still provide a great memento. Yes, the Flying Hanuman accommodates guests of all ages and abilities so it's certainly for everyone! If you happened to snap some photos, make sure to share them here so we can see your fun times! We'd love to have you visit again sometime!

“Loved the experience - but...”
Reviewed June 16, 2014

The experience was great! I love heights and flying and so this was one of the perfect adventurous sport for me.
The overall experience from the start to the end is a good one but..
beware of the instructors. They tend to act 'cool' and may try to push you around (especially if you are a girl). One specific instructor tried to hold my hand through the rope even though I told him that I was comfortable on my own.
I hope the owners make random checks and kick out the rowdy instructors trying to act smart.

Brinda, Thanks for sharing all of your suggestions and comments about your visit. We're sorry to hear that you felt the guide on your trip was being too pushy or playful, so we'll make sure that is checked into as you suggested. We work hard to have a professional atmosphere while still having fun. And of course we every precaution so our guests can have a great adventure while being completely safe. We hope your overall experience was still a great adventure and would love to have you back in the future.
